Solid steakhouse fare. Crowded on a Friday. Good service. Chicken fried steak was excellent. Fork tender with good old fashion breading. Good okra and potato. Friend had tenderloin. Quite good. Very tender. Another companion had huge center cut pork chop. Very tender and flavorfull. Would highly recommend. Come early.

This is one of those restaurants that’s an unexpected surprise. It’s located in an old service station but hole in the wall it is not!!! And it is not the mom and mom Sysco food you might expect in a small town. Truly home cookin but waaayyyy better!!! Fresh ingredients and made to order. Our favorites are the pork chops, burgers, sweet potato fries, of course the steak, and yes… Fried green tomatoes! We are locals and Easleys is one of our«go to» places when we want to eat out without driving to Dallas or Tyler.

I had the 14oz ribeye medium rare and it was cooked and seasoned well. I also had a baked potato and cried squash. The squash was excellent. For starters we had the bottle caps. They were fried jalapeños with some cheese melted on top. They were alright but not something we would order again. They were super busy last night so the service was mediocre. The strangest thing to me was they didn’t have sweet tea. We live in the south. Who doesn’t have sweet tea? Overall, we will return and try it again and enjoyed it.

Easleys Cattle Company has the best steak in Texas period! No steak sauce required as you will ruin the extraordinary taste that has been created. None of the big chain steakhouses can hold a candle to Easleys as their steak is simply amazing! All of their many other dishes are excellent as well. Service is fast and friendly which are two qualities hard to find in this day and time. Prices are very reasonable especially for the quality of the food served! I have never had a bad experience with food or service at Easleys and I have been eating there about once a week for the last two years. If you want Excellent Food(Especially the Steak) with Great Service and Prices then Easleys Cattle Company should be at the top of your list of places to eat!

We were in town for Canton Trade Days and spent the night. Looking for a place for dinner, we went to Easley’s. One of the best steaks I’ve had in a long time! Friendly and quick service and great meal! That was this past February. We’re going again the first weekend of October. Guess where we’ll be having dinner? Easley’s.

We eat here at least once a week. Always great food. The have the best hamburgers! The lunch special is only $ 7.99 and includes tea. At lunch, I especially like the bacon wrapped chopped steak or the fried pork chops. At dinner — get a steak. You won’t be disappointed.

Git a recommendation from a local to try them out. Good burger and fried chicken tenders just a little slow getting the order but it was lunch hour and I believe that everything is homemade. Great fresh green beans but I think they had bacon in them so if you are a vegetarian you may want to ask about ingredients in all the veggies.

We were highly disappointed after all the reviews we read and then actually experienced the food. No silverware, burnt food, dried meats. The waitress spilled the dressing from our salads on the table, her arm and the floor. She proceeded to lick the dressing off her hand and arm, clean the floor and leave it on the table. Then returned with our silverware and napkins and left them on top of her spilled dressing on the table. We won’t be back.

We were in Canton last weekend and decided to try Easley. It was listed as a local recommendation at the motel we were staying at. It’s in a small strip center and has a very casual atmosphere. The booths reminded me of the ones you find at a Dairy Queen. The initial service was good, and the food was great. The sirloin had a good flavor that reminded me of Saltgrass. The chicken fried steak was more steak than coating, which was a nice change from mostly crust and very little meat at other places. We tried the fried green tomatoes and they were so hot it burned my mouth, but good. The only down side of the visit was the waitress never came to refill our drinks and we finally had to ask for the check. Would I go back? Sure!

Best steak I’ve had in a long time! We work all over the country, traveling more than we are home and by far this the best steak house we’ve eaten since I don’t know when. Eating at Salt Grass and Outback is like eating at McDonalds in comparison. It’s well worth the drive if you live in Dallas or Tyler to come here. The staff is friendly. They cut their own steaks and grill them heavenly– melt in your mouth!

Had dinner here with friends on Sat. 9÷15÷12. Was told it would be a good, basic dinner. We were not disappointed! Yes, it’s a meat market too, but don’t let that turn you away. 3 of us had the filet(bacon wrapped), the other a sirloin. The steaks were perfectly seasoned & cooked! Each steak dinner came with a salad, a side & a roll. Don’t go too late or they might run out of potato sides, as they did to nearly everyone who came after us(7:30). Our waitress was super nice & attentive too. Know before you go: they don’t serve alcohol & you can’t BYO.
