Terrible customer service and over priced!
I went into dicks and was looking for a baseball glove. A lady came up to me and asked if I needed help, I said yes. She then called for someone to come to sporting section and walked away. 20 minutes later… I’m still waiting for someone to show up. I then walked out of the store and will never go back. I’ll spend my money at a store that’s worth it. Dicks sucks.

Stop in soon if you can. They have a ton of stuff on clearance. 50% off the lowest ticketed price. I just got three pairs of nice gym shorts for 30 bucks. Oh, and the tubes are in stock and on sale. Get em while they’re hot.

AWFUL. This is the Walmart of sporting goods. I took my son to get LaCrosse equipment. The staff is USELESS. If you can find anyone who actually works there. The place is the size of Costco and maybe they had 2 people on the floor. The shoe guy disappeared for 15 minutes looking for the right size cleat only to return with nothing. Told us he would «come find us if the size we needed «appeared». Really? What the heck does appear mean? Was he hoping it would pop out of midair? They had very little selection of other equipment and nobody who knew anything about Lacrosse to help w/​sizing gloves, shoulder pads ect.
After wasting almost an hour trying to figure things out, we Unilocaled Lacrosse Unlimited and they had everything. The staff was knowledgeable and put everything together for us. We were done in 10 minutes! Dick’s sucks.

This is your Average Dick’s, though I feel like it was a little cramped. The men’s section seemed tiny! Or maybe its because it had two escalators in the middle. Either way, I didn’t find the clearance section to be very full, and I had a hard time finding what I wanted. I have been to better stocked Dick’s in the area.
I also found it out of the way, mostly because I’m from West Hartford. I think I’d rather drive out to the Berlin Turnpike rather than go out here. But at the same time, this plaza has better/​more interesting shopping like Sur La Table and J.Crew.

Customer service leaves a lot to be desired. We were picking up a bike from the service area (took them forever to find it). Brought it to the register where the cashier said she was closed. Really? Then turn the light off that says «Open». We moved to a longer line. Another customer went to that first cashier, the closed one, and got rang up. It might be petty, but it’s also damn annoying. If only I saw a manager.

DICK’s is HUGE! Wow, you can get everything you need for your sports need. Service was good, though I felt like most workers there are just hanging out waiting to punch out. Huge parking lot and located near all great stores.
