Very nice farmers market… Beautiful location with a lot of space for Vendors and plenty of parking! They have music/entertainment every week which adds a very pleasant addition to shopping. They have a variety of vendors, everything from bread and sweet rolls to bbq sauce to homemade soaps and jewelry. My only complaint is that when I went yesterday they didn’t have much produce at all. Just salad greens and apples. I’m supposing it still considered early and more produce will be on its way! They have activities for the kids. It’s a great way to spend a Sunday morning/early afternoon.

Just a nice, cozy, fun to shop market. Mostly locally grown produce but you will find your fair share of hand-made scarves and soap. Plenty of parking and no annoying egos here.

I love this farmer’s market! They always seem to have veggies and fruit at decent prices, available from super friendly growers. You can get everything from beets to meats though and even stock up on Zing’s products if you’d like. Between the cherry tomatoes and the sweetly tart actual cherries you will find something to make a trip out worth your while. They have fun prepared foods and baked goods. Seriously do not go hungry, there are lots of tasty temptations to be had. You can stuff your face and even get things nicely packed to go. Spinach and feta pies, pasties, pierogi, pulled pork sammies, NY style dogs, I could go on and on. No fears, you will find something for everyone’s taste buds to savor. I love the odd finds, hot pepper jelly, goats milk skin products, a bead bracelet for my niece. Things you do not go there to find but discover on your journey and that make you happy. Take your time and walk around, browse then buy. Otherwise you will be like me and buy far too much! Be sure to bring your reusable bags, some gallon sized ziplocs(always good in a pinch) oh and wear some sunblock if you are casper white like me.

I love the Canton Farmer’s Market! Unlike others, this market always seems to offer enough parking Spring-Fall(though a bit less for the limited Winter sessions, as the lawn is off-limits). Super fresh produce is offered with enough competition to allow for a very reasonable price. Open your eyes to the wonderful products of Bizzy Lizzy’s Flourless Bakery, Natural Local Food Delivery’s organic meats and eggs, and even a few«known» names like Zingerman’s. For your sweet-tooth buy Michigan honey or jam; for your spice-buds, make it Michigan salsa; and for a little bit of both, try some of the REAL graham crackers that I just had on Saturday: AMAZING. You’ll feel like you have one foot in the country with the Cady-Boyer barn and Bartlett-Travis porch and the old-timey school bell. Yet, despite the traditional feel of the grounds, there always seems something new to discover! This spring, take the step to support community farming and help the environment. Your body will thank you, as it realizes what food should be.
