Want to know how bad the bagels are here? I’d rather go to Dunkin Donuts. We stopped in on a Saturday morning, the place was filthy, the people working there were miserable and the food was downright bad. My wife commented she shouldn’t have wasted the calories. The everything bagels should have just been called garlic bagels, there was no sign of any other topping. The butter on the bagel was not melted at all. The cream cheese did well to mask the cardboard flavor of the bagel. The funny part was people were in there buying dozens! You couldn’t pay me enough money to eat a dozen of these bagels. No thanks!

Stopped in here for the first time after driving by countless times. In all, a good spot for a quick bite to eat. The food was good, simple and reasonably priced. The place was jammed on a Saturday morning so apparently has a good following. While a good place, I hesitate on giving it more stars for two reasons. Service is slow and sporadic — I was finished with my sandwich before the others in my party even came out. Plus, we had to go back up a few times to ask for things we ordered(but never got) and for more napkins and utensils(they should have those things out). The interior could use some work too as it wasn’t a very comfortable/clean place to sit and relax. However, like I said, a good place and I’m sure I will be back for some more tasty and reasonably-priced bagels and bagel sandwiches.

I’ve driven by this place 1000s of times but finally stopped by a couple of weeks ago. I’m glad I did. The food is well quality, well-crafted, simple and fresh. Now that may seem ordinary and sure you could make the same thing at home but isn’t that what you are looking for? They make food like my Grandmother would make it. That puts them above Subway or Panera or those«I don’t care about you» delis that dot northwest Connecticut. The staff also seems eager to provide great service as well. Today I saw a staff member make sure the another staff member cut the bottom of the bagel wrapper in half just like the bagel. «It makes it easier to eat that way». Thats the kind of attention to detail I can appreciate. The interior could use some work but its still becoming my favorite spot for lunch.
