This review is for 12÷15÷15. Found this place on Unilocal. So glad we did. We were bringing the works for our family that lives nearby because their grandfather passed away. When we got here everything was ready and Mike helped us. He was so nice, friendly and very kind. I wanted to speak with Mike’s manager to give a compliment but Mike was the general manager. I certainly didn’t expect a GM to be manning the helm, helping customers and their orders. Definitely recommend this place when looking for bagels and the works.

For the most part their bagels are good. However I’ve been there many times and the impression they leave you with is that they are doing you a favor — not the friendliest bunch.

8.30am — no plain bagels, no whole wheat bagels — 10 minute wait… enough said! This is a bagel shop!

Recently moved into the area, so we wanted to check this bagel place. Stopped by a couple of days ago with the wife. Asked for the smoked salmon with the egg salad, «I haven’t had time to make egg salad» was the response in a very annoyed tone by the guy behind the counter. Requested the egg sandwich as depicted in a poster, and got my sandwich on something that tasted like a cardboard bagel(not as the picture) and egg was probably cooked days before being served. Wife ordered a simple bagel toasted and the same guy missed the order. When asked about it he tried to blame my wife for the missing bagel. The place is nice but the food and the attitude sucks big time. Will not go back.

Today and a few weeks ago, we stopped to pick up bagels at around 6.10 am. First time, no bagels ready yet, today, locked doors and even though people supposed to be working were there they would not let us in. If you are not able to sell bagels at 6am, do not post 6am as your opening time. We went out of our way to get there.

Easily one of the better breakfast spots in the area for a quick bite. The bagels are always fresh and the bacon is quite interestingly delicious. It has this very apparent maple flavor, but it’s also a tiny bit spicy. They have a good selection of sandwich creations, and some fairly descent iced coffee. I just wish they would just stop serving it in soda cups. It’s a bit tacky.

I have stopped in a couple of times and both times the counter staff is unfriendly and seems disinterested and the restaurant is always dirty. The bagel sandwich I had was good.

Great service and the bagels are always fresh. There’s always a smile on the workers face and they have the best bagels in the Farmington Valley Region. I would go back everyday if i could. A worker named Abby was very helpful by asking questions about how i wanted my bagel.

Cranky counter help, but the coffee was good. The bagels smelled and looked wonderful. The space was clean and inviting. Still, wonky customer service is a huge deficit. I don’t live in the area, but if I did, I wouldn’t be back.

I visited Bruegger’s in Avon this morning for the first time to pick up bagels and OJ for work. I was running late so I didn’t look at my receipt when I paid and ran out. I was charged $ 14.99 for a gallon of OJ! A dozen bagels, cream cheese and OJ…$ 32.25. To top it off I was waited on by a long lady who obviously had no desire to be there. I tried to call them three times today and no answer. I will never set foot in there store again. Update…i received a very nice email and return phone call from the manager who wants to make this right. That’s all you can ask for.

Wow! $ 4.75 for a bagel and the place was filthy! And the order was wrong! Asked for salt and pepper and was told it was in the egg. We’ll there wasn’t near enough of either in the egg. Definetly won’t waste my money there again.

The girls working behind the counter are not polite or friendly. They seem to hate their job and it comes across to us customers in a big way. We won’t be back.

Being from New York its hard to admit that a place in Connecticut has such awesomely fresh and delightful bagels but this place truly is Damn good at what they do. Very impressed and the service is quick.

Good Pumpernickel bagels, Fresh squeezed Juice and my breakfast is complete. This place has it and Thank you very much. I have a simple breakfast, and it is not that easy to find in some cities. Thank you for serving in Avon. I appreciate that!

The staff are polite and friendly. The bagels are good, not the best I’ve had, but flavorful. The coffee could use some work which is disappointing when you want a good bagel and cup in the morning. But this is where I go when I’m craving a lox on bagel.

My buddy is into pumpernickel bagels so anytime we travel and we find him one it is a plus. Well in the beautiful town of Avon, Ct Bruegger’s did not disappoint. To my pleasure they bake up this flavorful Asiago soft bread for my bacon, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. The service was very prompt even with a busy morning rush. So if you need a quick delicious bite be sure to give them a try.

Food is good. Service is atrocious. I have been there a dozen times because of its convenience. Not once have I left without feeling like I was a burden. The staff is consistently disorganized. Every single time I go in I experience at least two to three minutes wondering where to go, what to do, and who to speak to. Their system is flawed, their service is downright bitter, and that is a shame because if they simply put one smile on one face for one minute they would flourish as a company at this location.

Stopped in spontaneously for egg sandwich and got the siracha egg bacon and cheese on wheat bread by Christa’s great recommendation. (See photo) Coffee was very good and look forward to returning.

A mediocre bagel place. The bagels are standard brueggers. You know what you’re going to get. A bit smaller than some other bagels but they also don’t seem to stay fresh as long. Coffee is pretty good and service is fast and efficient. Skip the egg sandwich. The egg is rubbery and so is the sausage; probably the worst tasting egg sandwich I’ve had in a while. Even Dunkin Donuts egg sandwich is better.
