Awful customer service… Got the order wrong, once they finally got it right they brought my food out cold, also did not bring my dinner date’s food out at the same time(about a 7 minute wait in between both our meals being served).

The delivery was on time which was good, but the restaurant didn’t seem to read the special instructions portion for the food, and some of the food itself was bland. The sweet and sour chicken had a small amount of flavor at best, then it tasted like plain chicken. It wasn’t the worst experience, but I’m not sure I would want to order from there again.

This place is ok and delivers! That’s pretty much it. They offer your typical Chinese dishes and they also offer sushi! Yup! The sushi was actually fresh and yummy. The salmon sashimi was large and in charge! Anyway we ordered shrimp fried rice, kung pao chicken, garlic string beans, and honey glazed chicken. Fried rice was tasty and so were the string beans. Had a good amount of garlic! The honey chicken and Kung pao chicken felt too heavy and oily. Plus not so sure about the quality of ingredients. Anyway, it’s a good choice when u are too lazy to go out and in the mood for Chinese takeout. Plus prices are affordable!

One of my favorite Chinese food resturaunts. The moo shu chicken is amazing. The crispy beef, the wonton soup and shrimp fried rice are great too. I order delivery from here and go in to dine as well. I’ve had other deliveries from Chinese places since I’ve moved to woodland hills but Szechuwan Garden is the best. Their Japanese is good too. I’ve had the tempura, miso soup, shrimp roll, spider roll, and crunch roll. All good too. Highly recommend.

My husband and I have been ordering from here for over 14 years and at the beginning the customer service and food was very good. Over time we have had delivery and every time it takes longer and longer to get our food. Not once have they offered a discount for the inconvenience. Tonight sadly to say is our LASTTIME ordering food from this establishment! Not only did we have to wait and wonder where our food was(only after calling to inquire) I was greeted by a very RUDEANDDISRESPECTFULDELIVERYGUY! As disappointed as I was with waiting the delivery person had his hand extended out giving me our food as soon as I opened the door! Surprised I Ignored the unprofessionalism and said hello with no response from him! …after telling him he could at least say hi he gave me the other bag of food and said I did… I told him no you did not and here began us going back and forth… he than said it was not his fault the food was late. Needless to say I signed the receipt and slammed the door in his face! This place obviously does not need our business! Unfortunately my husband is not happy that I will no longer accept delivery to our home. Sayonara!

We ordered quite a few things from here, and they were all either gross or really… plain. The General Tsao’s Chicken was lukewarm, and so-so overall for flavor. Some of the chicken was SUPER spicy, while others had no spice at all. We got the chicken and broccoli, too. The chicken looked like it was over-boiled, and it was nearly tasteless(the white sauce is the only thing that gave it flavor). It was covered in a white sauce, which was weird to me, since normally chicken and broccoli meals are soaked with a delicious brown sauce. I would never order this again from this place. Super plain and just… yuck. We got the chicken fried rice, which was okay. I LOVE fried rice, but something about it was just off about it. It looked really dark, like maybe too much sauce was used to fry the rice. My boyfriend got the Tea Smoked Duck, and it was awful. It was undercooked, and some pieces tasted either raw or super salty. He couldn’t finish more than 30% of the meal. The fried dumplings arrived semi-warm, but good. It was the only good thing we got, and it wasn’t even hot when it arrived. To top everything off, this is probably the most expensive Chinese food place I’ve ever been to.

Went in a couple days ago this time I decided on getting some food to go. I ordered in person, and the food took about 10 minutes. I ordered the hot and sour soup for 2; it was one of the best I’ve ever had. I’ve also ordered their sushi special which was the spicy albacore roll and salmon skin roll. Both were decent especially for the price of 2.75 each… When I checked my food to go they even added some wonton chips to go. Definitely would order to go again.

I had been craving Moo Shoo Pork forever. After asking around, a bunch of people suggested I try Szechuan Gardens. My husband, daughter and I went on a Sunday around 3. I was suprised to see the restaurant almost full at such an odd hour. Because we wanted left overs for the week we ordered a lot. I had a bowl of Hot and Sour soup. My husband had California rolls and Veggie Egg rolls. All three things were great. No complaints. To share we tried the Moo Shoo of course. It was perfect. Exactly what I wanted. So pleased. We also got Chicken Fried Rice and Honey Walnut Shrimp. In the future I would skip both of those items. They were meh. The shrimp was overly sweet and overly sauced. The rice was really bland and the chicken was a bit chewy. All in all, we will go back and try different items. I liked the wait staff and my husband loved that football was on the big screen.

So close to my place, had to give it a try. I really don’t like to give poor reviews, but the amount of MSG in this stuff is alarming. There was a LOT. Ugh. Plus it’s pricey for how unhealthy and un-tasty it is.

I am definitely a fan of ordering delivery from this place. They get my order correct every time and the food arrives piping hot and delicious! They have always been courteous and polite to me and each person who answers the phone is familiar with the menu to anticipate my order if I do not remember a dish accurately. I particularly love the ability to order online through Unilocal when I simply do not feel like speaking to someone to place an order. There is a slight service charge, but my order still arrives timely and delicious.

They have a LOT of foods in the menu… they even have vegetarian menu but my favorite here is the chicken noodle soup. It has the best chicken broth! Chicken phở noodles soup used to be my favorite chicken soup but not anymore! They also accept coupon from their website if u show it to them on your phone but do it before they give u the check or they will say something in chinese that will make u feel bad even though u don’t understand it. Twei bu tzi la!!! lol

My family and I came here for dinner and we all agreed it was the best Chinese in town. The service was excellent. The portions were very generous. We had the won ton soup, fried rice, mushu pork and beef and vegetables. My favorite was the fried rice but I recommend all of the dishes. We had been there before and the dishes we had ordered were too sweet but we decided to give it another try and we are very happy we came back.

I’ve experienced better at a fast-food Chinese restaurant. The prices are a little high for the quality of food you get, I would pass.

Yuck. Just yuck. Rancid and metallic tasting. Seems like everything except the rice had a disgusting gummy mouthfeel that coated the underside of my tongue. Yuck. Sweet delivery man, though. I’d write more but you’ll have to excuse me… I’m about to vomit. That might be the best part of this meal. Wasted money and a complete disappointment. Yuck…

Discovered new ingredients in our food today… egg shells and porcelain pieces. Some of of our food was burnt, some orders missing rice or vegetables. Not very tasty to say the least. Upon calling the restaurant to advise them of the problem, we were rudely told we couldn’t buy food there any more. What a shock after being a weekly customer for many years. This has prompted us to notify the authorities of very obvious health and safety concerns. The restaurant management refused our call once they knew why we were calling. Obviously an owner who doesn’t care what he serves, or the safety of those who eat there.

First, it took an hour and 20 minutes for the food to arrive. We must’ve ordered for 10+ people right? No, just two orders of fried rice and an entrée. Not sure why it took so long, but alright. My experience with the shrimp fried rice was bizarre. One bite would taste decent enough, while another bite made me want to hurl. I gave up because food poisoning is no fun and I couldn’t risk it even if there was a slight chance for this. No, I’m not pregnant, nor am I sensitive to most ingredients. I just don’t care for a chemical like taste to my meals and I prefer a consistent experience while eating. How it can toggle between good and straight up nasty is just plain weird.

I’m really shocked about all the negative and not-so-great reviews. I’ve been coming to this place for a few years now and have never had any issues with the food taste and quality. I usually come in for their lunch specials because you such a good deal on their good food and they give you a huge portion! If you can’t make it in for lunch, dinner can be a bit pricey, so I suggest going in by 3pm, ordering lunch specials and serving for dinner! Some of my favs: sauteed triple delight, mongolian beef, imperial shrimp, kung pao We recently tried the Japanese food Happy Hour that goes from 4 – 7. The prices are dang cheap! The sushi is decent, but they offer many options.

I understand sometimes circumstances happen that are out of your control. I get that. They had a power outage so this restaurant was unable to receive my order until an hour after, however the way they responded to it when I called them and asked about it is what is making me leave this bad review. Extremely disrespectful. Rude. Non-apologetic. As if it was my fault that their power went out They also gave me an incorrect order. No sauces. No napkins. No utensils.

I came here for the Lunch Special(11:00am-4:00pm) I’m giving this place 3 stars… Because, I honestly think there is better tasting Chinese food restaurants in the valley. Don’t get me wrong this place is good if you don’t mind fast-food. I had the Kung Pao Beef(Spicy) it was good, but the meat was a bit chewy. The service was good, the only thing I didn’t like is that the servers were cutting vegetables in the dining area. Isn’t that supposed to be done in the kitchen? LOL Oh… Make sure your order is more than $ 10.00 or else they won’t take your credit card.
