I call ahead for pick up a few times a month here. Food is good. Employees are always quick to get me in and out. At good cross streets– quick access. Wish they had a drive thru.

Its too bad that this place is getting one star because of one employee’s awful attitude. My family and I came in and they didn’t have enough chicken tenders and asked us to wait which was totally fine. After 25 minutes, we came up and they had forgotten. The manager was quick to apologize but the cashier who took the order kept rolling her eyes. What customer service place is that ever ok? When my husband pointed it out, the manager asked her to apologize and said they have had problems with her before. The cashier actually stomped her feet and spat out«sorry, are you happy now?» At this day and age of social media and millions of places to go, it is totally unacceptable. So many people looking for jobs, why keep someone who obviously hates it?

The good: the cashier was nice & one of the lady’s started on our order right away when they were quite busy. The bad: paid $ 34 for the Nashville 24 piece chicken tenders and only 12 were in the bag! I watched the lady squeeze the sauce on the tenders, but found it was very little sauce & they still had nooooo taste. Parking is very limited & unsafe. Kfc at Ventura & Tampa has bad reviews but at least the chicken is good and they’ve never shorted me on pieces of chicken.

Aboslutley disgusting bathrooms, how could a chain like KFC allow bathrooms like this at one their locations. The food taste off too, doesn’t taste like a normal KFC… the staff however is very nice and attentive. Some district manager needs to address this location.

Two stars for customer service, 0 for food. my chicken was not fresh, it’s was dry and probably been in that warmer all day. I don’t mind waiting for fresh chicken but don’t think about giving me the dried up chicken then say oh well it’s to go he won’t notice till he gets home. Stay away from this kfc.

I’ve been to this location twice now. Both around the same time(Wednesday around 1pm). The first time I had one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a fast food joint. It was great! However, when I went back a week later, it was almost the polar opposite. It was crowded, they were understaffed, & I had to wait around for over 5 minutes for my order. SO, I guess you could say this place is a toss up. Not to mention, there is little to no parking so just be warned about that.

Food came fast and was delicious. Original and crispy was on point. Cashier spoke way too fast about some online survey that might help them but oh well. Practically no parking but hey I found a spot, so can you.

My kids and I visited this location(at Topanga and Sherman Way) on Saturday. They have a great $ 5 box deal(two entrée items, drink, one side, biscuit and cookie) and the food was great. There’s nothing like it out there — it has a unique taste. It was so good, in fact, that we had to go again the following day. The staff was professional and at tentative. The cashier on Sunday was exceptional and I wanted to post his name — he was that good. If I owned a business, I would hire him :-) His name is Luis. In the same way that In ‘n’ Out Burger is know for its professional staff and good food — this KFC location was just as professional and tasty.

This KFC is right at the corner of topanga canyon and Sherman way. There’s Plenty of parking, but I’m confused as to why the parking right beside it says Big Lots parking. I was like wth, I ain’t parking a mile away, if the parking is right beside u. Why does it say Big Lots parking if Big Lots is like a mile away. Now onto the service. The service is really quick, however, for someone like me, I like to look at the menu first to see what they have and what kind of deals they have. Service is kind of informal, and it’s like if you know what you’re getting then in and out is fast. I say 4 stars. They’re just doing they’re job. I think every American knows of KFC, so there’s no need to review about the quality. 5 stars. For me, I prefer original recipe of crispy. I got the 24 piece family deal, with tax it came out to like 29 $., it came with large cole slaws, 2 large mash potatoes with gravy, and 6 of those whatchamacallit buns. Great value. You will definitely have leftover to refrigerate for the next day.

Sunday afternoon, craving KFC w their gravy and I had coupon. First parking is bad only 4 or 5 spots but next to it was empty, mini strip mall. No drive thru. Service was fast(5 – 10 mins) and courteous however I asked if I could get something else besides biscuits.(8 piece meal, gravy, mash, coleslaw and 4 biscuits) but alas Mirza said no. OK I just said leave it out. Gave her $ 19 for bill of $ 18.52 and she didn’t give change bc she pre-owned $ 18.52. I didn’t mention bc it was only 48 cents. Now for the food, I felt the extra crispy was fresher than the original, mash and gravy good and coleslaw ok. Also no napkins or offer for condiments or utensils/plates. Overall, it’s ok. I prefer the one in Sun Valley(Roscoe and Laurel Canyon) bc food taste fresher, there’s a drive thru and I can substitute biscuits for potato wedges.(They used to have awesome cornbread a long time ago. too bad they discontinued it.)

I enjoy KFC every once in awhile but this location’s chicken had obviously been sitting for a long time.

I posted a review before, but it was for the wrong KFC. This restaurant is located Sherman Way and Topanga Canyon. Its an old restaurant and does look it, but for what it is, it’s good. The chicken is not as overpriced the other KFC down the street. You can refill the cup yourself(many KFCs won’t let you do that), and the portions are more than generous most of the time. The TV and WiFi is new. Warning, they don’t have cable, so there are pixilation problems.

I was getting my car fixed, after getting a flat fixed and an oil/filter change at Firestone on the way home from work, and needed food. I used to live 2 blocks away from this KFC, for years, but never did go in there until yesterday. The gals behind the counter were very nice. I got a «snack» of a Chicken Little, small side of coleslaw, and a biscuit for $ 4.33 including tax. It all tasted quite good and filled me up. I can’t believe how much they charge for some stuff there though — a small container of coleslaw with maybe 10 bites in it is almost $ 2.00. The store was pretty dirty but I didn’t care, I just needed to eat something. The bathroom was… gross. They need to replace the entrance doors, and the bathroom door. I didn’t get sick. All’s well that ends well.

Okay… The food is good at other KFCs. The service was okay. The location is ghetto! Yes, ghetto! I love me Some fried chicken. But, the restaurant wasn’t clean. The employees were talking really loud in «Spanish» yelling across the restaurant me being Hispanic myself and all the things they were talking about wasn’t appropriate. This was Friday on 10÷17÷14. Came here for their $ 5 lunch special and it was horrible. The food was cold. I felt like the chicken was sitting in their heater lamps for hours! The Mac and cheese was really salty. I asked for extra crispy and it wasn’t that crispy at all. Bad experience! :(

Been here since I was a kid. Was born and raised on Canoga park and have my family business close by. Well since I was Kid until now this place has Always served delicious fried chicken without any complains. I will keep coming and coming to this establishment. I don’t know what I would do without there coleslaw it’s the best thing on earth.

Lots of nice people, completely lost and without a clue as to what is going on. They had to read the coupon I handed the cashier three times and pass it along speculating what it’d include.

Don’t count calories if your buying fried chicken just enjoy it! The meal was alright…, I much prefer Honey Kettle or Churches. I probably wont be back after reading the reviews last night, I have to agree that this is a pretty stank location. But, I love the KFC coleslaw the most! BTW — If they offer that Bundt cake and you have MSG allergies don’t get it. I read mostly every ingredient and whadddya know it was in the ingredients. Oiy Vey!!!
