A great spot for ice cream treats! Outstanding ice cream! Only open in the summer. Right on the Ohio & Erie Towpath Trail, so it’s a fun destination while cycling or hiking. There’s a nice deck in the back with picnic tables to enjoy. They serve great sandwiches, including Chicago dogs, until mid-evening. I’m pretty partial to their coconut fudge fantasy, which is coconut ice cream with Girl Scout Samoa cookies blended in. Lots of traditional flavors, but also some out of the ordinary choices, as well. I mean like 30 homemade flavors! The ice cream machines here were originally from Euclid Beach Park in Cleveland before they moved here. There’s a funny traffic pattern, as you enter from the road, and exit down a slightly steep ramp onto an alley, which leads to the road.

Loved this place! It’s family tradition to hit up ice cream after our 4th of July family picnic. Obviously being the foodie that I am I tried everyone’s delicious flavors. I went with the chocolate dipped ice cream which was superb. Also loved the shakes and their many different flavors. The prices are reasonable and it was a perfect end to our day! Yumm! Wish I lived near here!
