The closing time on their Facebook page is 11 pm, went there at 10:50 pm and the door was still open and when we tried to go in some teenage boy there said«we’re closed!» Why advertise a closing time if you’re not going to abide by it, we went elsewhere!

Daddy Yo’s hasn’t been open for too long, but the service process has been refined to make everything as quick and enjoyable as possible. When you walk in you’ll see colorful, ‘modern’ décor that’s different from a lot of the dreary interiored restaurants in town. This is offset, though, by the Christian rock music playing in the background the last time I visited. It’s not my thing, but it might be yours. The frozen yogurt is delicious; everything’s kept quite cold– there isn’t a Baskin Robins sized selection, but the range of typical flavors is covered, from the usual chocolate and vanilla to ‘cookies and cream’ and ‘birthday cake’. There’s a bar full of toppings; things like Oreo bits and, most impressively, fresh fruits. Everything’s self serve. Grab a bowl, put as much of anything in it as you want, and when you’re done you place it on a scale and pay for it by the ounce. Basically, your order’s only as expensive as you make it. Overall, there are no real shortcomings to Daddy Yo’s. The selection of flavors is small for some, and the music is ‘meh’, but neither of those things are enough to take off a star, in my opinion. Oh, and there’s free Wi-Fi. Ah, modernity.
