Quite possibly the best Italian place I’ve ever been to. We ordered caesar salad, calamari, chicken parm, and linguine & clams. Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection — I swear I almost cried tears of joy over how delicious everything was. The waiters were also super nice and understanding, and all of the food came out promptly. We ended the meal with the Floating Island; it was definitely not what we were expecting, but, regardless, it was absolutely delicious. We’ll definitely be back!

My search for amazing lasagna continued as I ventured out to Sorelle Italian Bistro. This restaurant is located in a cute little neighborhood in a very small plaza. It was lunch time and there’s wasn’t too big of a crowd, I got seated right away when I arrived. The décor of the place was very simple. I loved the openness of the space and how attentive the server was. I was brought complementary bread right away and a bottle of water. I took a look at the menu to see if anything else would catch my eye, but I guess my heart was set on finding the best lasagna in the area, so I decided to go with the meat lasagna and a strawberry italian soda. This place is a bit on the pricier side of things, but the price is definitely worth it for the portions that you get! My lasagna was about $ 16 and when it came out, I was definitely overwhelmed by how AMAZING it looked and how HUGE it was. My server came over with fresh cheese and asked me if I’d like any, I said yes and he sprinkled some on for me. I took my first bite and I was thoroughly satisfied. The pasta was cooked well, there was a good amount of meat to ricotta, and the sauce amount was just right. I wish I could have devoured the entire dish, but luckily for me, that would have been bad and my body knew how to control itself. I took the rest of my meal to go, and I swear, it fed me and filled me up for another meal. The strawberry italian soda wasn’t anything special, but it was delicious nonetheless. This is more of a treat yourself place for me, so I’ll maybe come once a month, or when my craving for lasagna goes off the charts. I’ve definitely found my go-to Italian place in Campbell.

I would like to say that I haven’t had a chance to eat here and they were very kind In the response to my original post. I went back and ordered a pizza which was quite good. I drive by the place frequently and it seems to busy so I’ll have to go back when I have a chance.

The cook needs to re evaluate these recipes. My husband and I always order the basics when we come to an italian place for the first time to taste the sauces and pastas and see if it’s worth coming back. Ordered spaghetti meatballs: weird sweet sauce and over done noodles. Meatball was alright. Parmesan cheese tasted like candle shavings. Ordered cheese ravioli with pesto sauce. Pesto sauce was boring, and the ravioli was straight up nasty. Totally undercooked(not«al dente») and the filling tasted like moist sawdust! Two stars because the service was good, but food gets one star. #fail

Awesome Pizza! Awesome fried artichoke hearts! So tasty; I’ll be back. You can easily find the mass-produced anywhere, but there’s nothing like an original home made recipe.

Good Italian food is hard to find unless you cook at home(yes, we admit that we should cook at home more often). The food is a little inconsistent and there is a lack of service when it gets busy. It’s located in a residential area in a small strip mall. Hard to find unless you know the area. Prices are what you expect today for a family run sit down restaurant. We have been here a few times and tried a variety of dishes. Last time we went with a party of four, only the linguine and clams dish stood out.

Walked in around 7pm with a party of 2 and was seated immediately. I ordered the short rib bolognese( ) since it seems to be highly recommended based on previous reviews. Unfortunately the dish fell short for me. It was just pretty average pasta. The short rib was roughly a 3 inch diameter and 1.5 inch cylinder of meat. Very well cooked so the meat was soft and you don’t need a knife to cut it. There short rib wasn’t very well seasoned… The pasta sauce though was pretty good. I think I would have liked this dish more if the short rib wasn’t there… The lady who gave me parmesan also dumped a lot on the dish immediately so I pretty much had to tell her to stop as soon as she started.

We went there today from 5other people from work for lunch, let me start with fresh bread we got which was great. Our food was really delicious and everyone were happy and satisfied. Service was great and we were served by one of the owners Will be back for sure as I will crave their food for sure Btw homemade desserts are great too, we asked our server to pick two and it was great

This place is in a neighborhood strip mall. It is small inside so it gets packed quickly. The bread with pesto dipping sauce is great. The house wine is a bit sour but better with food Had calamari, misto salad, short rib pasta, linguine with large shrimp and cannelloni. The salad was good. Not overly dressed. The calamari was overly breaded. Not good. The short rib pasta is really good. The linguine with shrimp only came with three shrimp. Needs more shrimp. Its a small portion The cannelloni was stuffed with mushrooms, cheese and spinach with a cream sauce. This was delicious. The best dish there. The portion size was good. Service was spotty. Good at the beginning then the waiter forgot about us.

Man what a find! Tucked away in a Campbell backwater forgotten by time Sorrell is a tiny, informal, yet surprisingly good Italian restaurant. When we pulled into the strip mall parking lot the sidewalk out front of Sorrell was packed. Regulars brought lawn chairs knowing that the no reservations eatery would be a long wait. Yet everyone was just happy to be there. We put our name on the hour long wait list and slipped into the tiny 5 seat bar where a couple was just getting to be seated at their table. Can we eat at the bar I asked? Sure. Bingo! Short but decent wine list and amazingly quick service from the owner/bar tender/waitress. We had food within 5 minutes of sitting down. And it was good. Really good! I think of myself as a foodie and a full on food snob so I knew this place was going to be bad. Boy have I learned a lesson! Short rib Bolognese was amazing with a huge piece of tender, flavorful short rib on top of perfectly cooked ziti and a very flavorful Bolognese sauce. Perfect. $ 16 bucks. The Wife had Shrimp scampi pasta that was not over sauces and had just the right amount of herbs and olive oil. The Shrimp we big tender and fresh. Her salad looked and tasted as though it had been picked right after we ordered it. Amazing! Your not going to finish your plate so don’t even try. You’ll have a great lunch tomorrow.

Finally made it over to Sorelle the other day & we were not disappointed! Ordered their prawn pasta in white wine sauce, it was delicious :-). Their complimentary garlic bread was excellent as was the oil dip that came with it. A little pricey but excellent quality! What a neighborhood gem! Will def visit again :-).

Four of us showed up at 5:30 on a Friday with no reservations and we were seated immediately. We were served by one of the owners, she was very sweet and helped us select something out of their extensive menu. We started with a pitcher of beer(very reasonably priced!) and the calamari(average). We had short rib ziti, sooooo delicious and my favorite by far. Meat was tender and the sauce was meaty which was unusual in a meat plate. The calzone was ginormous and big enough for two people to share. We finished with the tiramisu which was good as well, but not very different but other places. I’d definitely come back and try other items.

Just FYI there are no reservations for under 6 people. We called ahead trying to make them, and got an answering machine, so left a message wit this request. It turns out no one listens to the machine and the message is ambivalent, so dont do what we did! Thankfully, we got there early and got in line for a table, because this tiny places fills up QUICKLY!!! The fried artichokes were very delicious. Large pastas and salad portions for what you pay. Fettuccine needed Parmesan, but after adding fresh grated cheese it was delicious. We would return again!

This is an Italian hidden gem in Campbell. Grew up in Campbell but have never had this place. Location: in a residential neighborhood so keep your eyes open when looking for the restaurant. Parking: small private lot but enough spots Started with the mussels. The sauce that was served with the mussel was really good. I would recommend it as an appetizer. I ordered the linguini fruti de mare and the sorelle short rib bolognese. Both were flavorful as they were plentiful. Portion size was not an issue. Price: linguini cost 18 and the bolognese cost 16 Overall: will return on occasion.

Overrated. Don’t do it. What we ordered: –Pizza — Dense, overly salted, and we told the waiter it wasn’t edible and he said sorry and walked away. –Gnocchi — Tastes like dough. Sauce was ok, but you can never get away from that dough –Baked Ziti with Meatballs — One meatball, and really overcooked pasta that was then baked. Sbarro has better baked ziti. That’s not a joke. I’m serious. Not a place I would recommend. And not a place I’d ever return to.

The reviews for this place are sort of hilarious because so many people are killing themselves so that we know they are Italian food experts because they one time went to Italy or maybe their grandma is Italian. I have no idea why anyone thinks that matters. This is just about your own dopey opinion, fools. Take it easy. This place is very friendly, the service is great and the food was delicious. Our table ordered the goat cheese bruschetta, salads, tortellini with alfredo, baked ziti, lasagna and the seafood pasta. Everything was great. If I had a single complaint it would be that on an already hot day, the restaurant was quite warm. That was sort of a bummer, but still totally worth it because the food was amazing. You should go to this restaurant, you won’t be sorry. And listen, not only have I been to Italy, my great grandma was, in fact, Italian.

I grew up in Italy and relocated in California a few years ago. I recently met the wonderful team of Sorelle Italian Bistro at a charity event(Courageous Kids) where they catered a full Italian style dinner. I have to say that the food was absolutely delicious, it brought me back good memories of my mother’s cooking back home in Italy. Simple fresh ingredients & great taste! Thumb up for the tortellini bacon & peas. Arrivederci…

Ever since I went on a vacation overseas, I’ve been trying to get my Italian fix being as it was the only thing I craved and was unable to eat. I wasn’t expecting this to be kinda like a mom and pop shop but it was. A lot of the customers were frequent diners because the servers would recognize them, which I always think of as a good sign. It’s not a fancy Italian place, but it’s pretty decent. And the sizes are pretty enormous. We split a calamari which I enjoyed, and it was huge, with 4 people, we still couldn’t finish it! For my entrée, I ordered the short rib bolognese and the short rib was delicious! It would just fall apart when you stick your fork into it. The sauce itself have some meat in it as well and it was just a little bit of meat overload for me. My boyfriend got the lasagna which was good too, but for my dish, I had picked the winner for the night. The other couple we dined with had ordered a pizza, which they said was pretty good. They also ordered a beer, but the server had forgot to bring it until late into the meal. But she was really nice and comped us for it! Who doesn’t like service like that? TL;DR: food is pretty decent, if we’re in the area and craving Italian, we would pick this place!

Very obscure residential location. Cute interior. Nice wait staff, but our waiter got our order slightly wrong and forgot to bring the beer. The salad was pretty good and large. The marinara sauce was ok, but a bit tomato pastey, lacking garlic and spices. The problem was that there was so much sauce on the pasta, it was more like having tomato sauce with a few noodles. Unless you get the spaghetti marinara, the place is too pricey. The kitchen looked filthy. We wouldn’t go again.

11÷22÷14: Family owned restaurant with exceptionally tasty food. They know most of the people eating there – it’s that kind of place. Doesn’t look very fancy inside, filled with plasticy and cheap looking furnishings, but I think it adds to the homey and we’re-just-good type atmosphere, especially when you’re attended to by their staff, in our case I believe the daughter? of the family-owners who also created/cooked some of the recipes. 1. Sausage and Peppers over Polenta $ 9.00: This wasn’t what I was expecting. I’ve had variations of polenta but they’ve either been cakes or served in a more plain but richer way tasting more like grits. In this dish, the polenta is like buttery grits on the bottom, and there’s lots of marinara-ish sauce(which was very good and chunky) over the top along with sausage. Never had it this way, but I did like it a lot. It combines the buttery and nutty taste of the polenta with a very Italian feel and taste. The sausage tastes homemade and is soft with lots of texture. Very nice. 7⁄10. 2. Linguini Fruti Di Mare $ 18.95. This is linguini topped with a marinara/cioppino sauce that has been completely saturated with clam bits, served with a few very large and tender scallops, a few large and again perfectly-cooked shrimps, and a few mussels and clams. The scallops and shrimps were cooked perfectly and remained juicy and succulent. The mussels might have been a tad overcooked and were not as juicy as they could have been, but they were still fine. The linguini was a little softer than«el dente» but still tasted fine. I loved the sauce – it has TONS of chunks of clams and other textures. I think if you’re a fan of this classic Italian dish, this restaurant’s version would definitely be a delight. 8⁄10. 3. [Max-something] Small Pizza $ 16.46: The pizza is a thin crust, though not like the wood-fired artisan types you might find in the best Italian pizza houses. This one is more American style in appearance and taste. A pie-like crust around the edge, not big balls of chewy dough. Lots of sauce, cheese, and sausage. I really like the taste. But if you’re looking for an Italian-style pizza, this is not it. I would say this is closer to New York pizza, but not really. Somewhat unique I would say. But I liked it a lot. 7⁄10. 4. Homemade Floating Islands $ 7.95: I LOVED the various tastes contained in this huge cocktail glass! On the bottom is the crème anglaise which to me is like a thin custard. There is definitely a strong taste of Grand Marnier which really gives it complexity tang, above just being sweet. I did think it was a little thin though – when our waitress, who I guess also is the one that developed this dessert, asked how I like it I told her the same thing and she said that it has to come out that way due to the way the custard must be cooked and skimmed. I dunno. I loved the flavors, but if they could find a way to thicken it I still think it could be that much more awesome. Anyway, it’s then covered up with meringue which I love, and then further topped with a crunchy crème brûlée-like sugar crust. Loved this dessert. 8⁄10. 5. Chocolate Mousse $ 7.95: I would say this is a basic chocolate mousse in taste and presentation. Very rich and satisfying, though nothing particularly special or complex(like the Floating Islands). The mouse is very dense, almost like quality ice cream right out of the freezer. If you’re a chocolate lover, you’d probably really enjoy the purity of this dessert. 6⁄10. This was a great family restaurant. I think a lot of family restaurants serve average tasting food, but in this case their food tastes as good as some of the best italian restaurants out there. By not being super fancy in atmosphere and presentation, they are able to bring you great food without big prices. 4⁄5. #italian #linguini #pizza
