I love this place and have been here many times. It’s my parents favorite too so enjoy for lunch and dinner. I ordered the Prawn Diablo this time

The food is good but i really come for the breadsticks and cheese sauce! that is to die for… no seriously! I often come in and grab some breadsticks to go(about $ 4). but you have to specifically ask for the cheese dipping sauce or they will just give you oil and vinegar… let’s just say i learned that the hard way and was sorely disappointed when i was half way home in traffic and realized i only had oil and vinegar. :(I seriously wanted to cry and almost turned around. The dining is nice and relaxing venue. They have some pretty good deals on a bottle of wine too. Im interested in doing the paint night but it sounds like it has to be scheduled with groups of 6 or more which is hard to coordinate.

Love this place! It is wonderful. Had a expensive meal this week at a crappy steakhouse and Mama Mia’s is wonderful — loved it so much

My husband and I visit this place pretty regularly as we live in the area. We enjoy the food, especially the minestrone soup and it’s our go to place when we can’t make a decision about where to go. The number of stars in this review is for our server, who may also be a manager. She’s helped us more than once now and neither time have I enjoyed her. I like most people but she’s abrasive and unpleasant. The last time we were there, she was involved in an argument with another patron about sauce…

My six year old daughter and I have been eating here quite often over the past eight months. The food, ambiance, and service are all top notch. There are several menu items from which to choose; she always gets the salmon and I usually go for the lasagna or scampi. There is plenty of parking, a nice bar, great food, and friendly staff. 5 stars!

Okay Italian at moderate prices. It could be better for the price. We’ve gone there for birthdays several times a year for many years and always come away with a feeling we paid too much for the quality. There are better places, but works in a pinch.

It feels like your in a private clicky county club, except not all patrons are acknowledged. The blonde woman who works behind the bar & is the owners girlfriend is extremely clicky with certain customers who I assume are regulars, but does not engage others that she’s seen before. I can attest to this because I’ve been here more then once. Food good, vibes not!

We came here because of an event, PAINTNITE! We came a little bit earlier to choose the seats and to also have dinner before we started. The service was okay, not bad. The food however, was just okay. I would definitely not crave this place ever because the food isn’t tasty. If I wanted Italian, I’d definitely go somewhere else like Tomato Thyme. We had the lasagna and shrimp cocktail. I’d say skip it as a restaurant and take your money elsewhere, but if you’re on a budget, this place is reasonably priced.

Celebrating an upcoming business trip to Austin, Tx. Greeted and seated very quickly. Brought us warm fresh bread along with olive oil/vinegar with spices. Super yummy. I got the New York steak special with mushroom sauce and wife/son shared a Marinara pasta. The waitress was also tending the bar and kept her smile while doing both jobs, the whole time. Will be back for dinner again.

Well the service is terrible! There was only three tables and we never got a water refill. The food wasn’t very good great $ 16.99 for fricken spaggetti is ridiculous.

We’ve been going to Mama Mia’s for many years. it’s friendly and busy, and smells great when you walk in. It’s not a madhouse like some busy restaurants are, and it’s not quite as noisy as, say, Giorgio’s(which is also great but different). I have never ordered anything that was less than absolutely wonderful. My husband and i have ordered from all over the menu. We will typically order one dinner and split it with an extra salad, but sometimes we splurge and each get an entrée, which provides enough food that i take leftovers home for lunch. They never, ever treat us like second-class-citizens when we split a meal. This is significant, because some places treat you like a cheapskate and give you poor service. But Mama Mia’s is true to the tradition of a great family-owned restaurant and customer is number 1. It’s hard as hell to get a great osso buco, and they have it — so perfectly cooked and moist that it’s falling off the bone. They have real, honest-to– goodness veal which they get from cruelty-free resources, so after years of not having veal, I am able to enjoy it now and then. and don’t get me started about the bread. it’s entirely too delicious. i’ve had great seafood there too, although i can’t eat shellfish. ALSO — my Lions Club held our holiday party there two years ago and it was very nicely managed and the price was terrific. This was not a rubber-chicken kind of event — they offered a choice of many entrees and accomodated some special requests for vegetaruabm gluten-free and lactose intolerant diners. They have a large room that they can dedicate to a group of about 35 or so people. it made for an awesome evening. I have no idea of why the negative reviews have been here because they most certainly could not have gone to Mama Mia’s. It is consistently outstanding.

Not worth dining at. Last night my boyfriend and I went out for a date night. I chose this restaurant because I had seen it many times on my way to his house. Nothing about this place delivers. Parking lot sucks. Walked in and were seated immediately. Our server(tall white man with sandy brown hair) approached our table and started shouting that he had lost his head. Given, we are Italian, and my boyfriend is from the east coast, we assumed this behavior to be normal, and funny. It continued all night. He was great to us. I will definitely give him that. He was just odd. Before he delivered our wine he had another shouting incident. My muscato came is a personal sized bottle of its own, which wasn’t very good, and was cheap tasting. We didn’t care for the bread, but liked the garlic oil ensemble. He ordered the New York steak special and enjoyed it. He didn’t have any complaints. I ordered the scampi, against my better judgement of ordering the salmon special. The noodles were saturated in butter, and had no taste, so I did not eat them. The shrimp were so buttery and difficult to remove from their shell. All I tasted was butter, no wine, no acid. I didn’t care for that. I got about 6 shrimp on my plate. It was full of green onion, in inconsistent in sizing so it became difficult to remove and eventually soggy. Apparently we were the last customers in the joint at about 9:05. We had just finished our meal and were finishing our wine so we could head to the theater. Our server started cursing and shouting some more about God knows what.(«Fuck! Damnit! Bitch.»)A hostess loudly informed him that he still had a customer. He walked around and looked at us, then shouted«Shit!» Totally disrespectful! We gathered our belongings and immediately left, disgusted at his behavior. I was appalled! As a business owner, entrepreneur, myself, I lead my professionals to behave a certain way. I was shocked! Had I stuck around, I would have spoken to the owner. Mediocre food. Terrible server behavior. Good service. Very pricey for frozen food/cheap wine. I won’t recommend, nor return. Treat your customers better. This was our first and last visit. Bill for 2 $ 91(2 glasses of wine, 2 entrees)

How hard is it to make a poor cheese pizza? It seems like a no-brainier. Not here. Mama’s struggled with this delivery. 2 stars goes to the crust. I wish I could rate the sauce, but there didn’t appear or taste like there was any on my slices. It was very dry. Most notably was the cheese itself. Mama Mia’s uses different cheeses, and that’s great. But all cheese has its own melting point, therefore needing to be sliced or grated consistently. This pie didn’t have that and was very uneven in texture and flavor. Disappointing. But the crust was great and driver nice. Might try it again but will ask for sauce and toppings next time.

Starting out the new year on a strict«real food“diet. I was searching for a place close to my next appointment, when I found this place. I walked in and the hostess was on the phone, so I started browsing through a couple of paper menus that were sitting up front, when all of the sudden a waitress by the name of Maria walks up to me and asks if I could be helped. OK, this is pretty awesome, usually wait staff wont give the people waiting to be seated the time of day, no eye contact, usually on a mission just to serve their tables, but she stopped to provide great customer service. I said, I am just looking for a salad, no dressing and meatballs. She says no problem, have a seat, she told me what was on the salad and I told her I couldn’t have olives. Not but 2 minutes later, maybe not even that long, I had a glass of water, a side salad with no dressing and two meatballs. WOW!!! This was perfect because I was on a time crunch. Seriously, EXCELLENT customer service! Food was great, but I need to come back and try some stuff on the menu when I am not so restricted. Prices are very reasonable and parking was easy!

We just tried their new weekend brunch and the entrees were quite tasty. I had the bruschetta and egg dish and my husband had the French toast. I liked the fried potatoes that came with the eggs… they tasted like square«tater totes» and the tomatoes were nice and fresh. The only negative about our visit was one of the helpers was standing up by the bar eating lunch and watching TV. Didn’t look too classy:(Would have looked better if seated at the bar.

I would give it 3.5 This is the perfect place to go when you don’t care how you look, want family friendly service, warm bread and not calorie/organic conscious Italian food. Nothing fancy, but perfectly down home and relaxing. If we didn’t have the baby we would have sat at the bar and watched the game. I imagine a few nights during the cold winter spent cozying up in one of these dated booths :) Lordes was a very friendly and honest server. Chef and hostess were also friendly, making honest eye contact. I may have to go back for 1 $ bottle of wine on Monday’s !!!

I almost ordered the pasta alfredo with prawns after reading Len Len’s review, however, my taste buds were in the mood for pizza. So 3 of us shared a large half meat & half veggie pizza. I loved the dough! It was crispy on the bottom and the veggies were on the crispy side too. They weren’t all cooked & limp like most pizzas. I loved the flatbread they gave us while we waited. It came with a dish of balsamic vinegar, olive oil & chopped fresh garlic. The garlic was a bit overpowering for my taste and a little on the hot side. It may have had some chili flakes in it but I couldn’t tell. The place seems to be very popular and I would love to go back & try other menu items.
