John at U-do-it let intake manifold gasket material fall into my engine while doing an intake manifold gasket replacement job and this totally ruined my GMC4.3L engine. When I got the truck back from him it was running poorly and within 3 miles the engine started malfunctioning. He knows that he caused this damage even in light of our finding many metal fragments and pieces up to ¾″ in the oil pan, he still would not own up to his mistake. These metal pieces were easily identifiable as coming from the gasket. This engine damage cost me almost $ 4,000 dollars to correct. I had to buy a whole new remanufactured engine plus many other parts like hoses water pump ignition parts, etc. When it comes down to it John will not take responsibility for any damage that he causes.
