Came here during lunch for a friday, and was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was clean, the staff was very friendly, and the food was AMAZING. The platters are usually offered in Medium(9 $) or Large(11 $), and to be honest, the medium size is already ENOURMOUS and definitely enough for at least two meals. I can’t even imagine the size of the takeout boxes they would give you if you ordered a large. I got the bone in jerk chicken with potatoes and cabbage, and my friend got fried chicken with rice/beans and plantains. The jerk chicken was delicious, a little on the spicy side, but very tender and juicy. My friend also loved her fried chicken platter, especially the plantains. Definitely a good place to stop by to pick up something for lunch if you’re in the area!

Ordered take out today then took my lunch to the park to soak up the last of the nice days of fall! They have a nice, clean organized restaurant on Federal St. Nice customer service, very generous portions, and decent size dining area. I ordered Jerk Chicken with Mac n Cheese and Fried Cabbage. Nice seasoning on everything! Will definitely come back and order more food, it was delicious!

The food was just ok. It lacked flavor. Coming from a west Indian family I know how these things are supposed to be cooked and it just wasn’t right. They barely had anything that was listed on their menu. And the lady behind the counter sincerely ticked off my mother by telling her she was«feisty».

Reggae Grill Jamaican/American Cuisine Pros: Friendly staff, warm and comfortable atmosphere, warm and delectable foodCons: Limited seating, no station with napkins, utensils, or sauces I visited on 4÷9÷15 at 12:00p.m. I went to Reggae Grill anticipating on having jerk chicken like I would find in Jamaica, but unfortunately they were all out and would not have more for another 30 minutes. I found this to be quite disappointing considering I went during the lunch rush. I had paper steak, which was very savory and delicious. The main portion was very large and the sides are overwhelming in size and did not disappoint. The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful in answering any questions I had about the menu items. I would highly recommend Reggae Grill for your Jamaican cuisine cravings. I will definitely be returning with friends and family.

Oh this food is good. I came here the other night for dinner with a group of people and was not disappointed. Ordering’s pretty simple. You get a meat(or grilled vegetables or tofu, which they do have) and two sides. I got the oxtail, which was so tender that I could pull it off the bone with only the plastic fork they gave me, and sides of rice and beans and cabbage. The flavor on the rice and beans was great, better than some other places in the are, and the cabbage was pretty good too, a little bit crunchy and spiced. There were a few options for dessert like sweet potato pie and sweet potato cake. I got the pie, which came in a one-person size(though it could honestly be split between two or three people). Overall, I’m super glad I finally got to this place and look forward to trying more off their menu.

The ladies that were running this place the Saturday I went there couldn’t have been nicer. Not only did they point me in the right direction of what to get but they were accommodating to me being so picking about what I wanted. The sizes are HUGE and I love Jamaican spots that have all white meat options to their Jerk and Curry. The prices were a little less than expected, especially for the amount of food you receive. I wish there were more of a reason for me ever visit Camden, but anytime that I’m even close to the area, I’m going to stop in. P. S., I think the address is a little misleading becasue I found it to be one block down, maybe I was

Yes! Yes. its in Camden. That being said, its walking distance from my job, new building or renewed!!. Our contractor who is Jamaican referred us to go here. Even took us there. They try to source everything local or fresh, no coco bread, since from NY, no Jerk pork, they may add that to their menu —soon. It’s Very Clean, inside & out, even the kitchen area, see how shiny hubs & kitchen are. Sure that is Why our referral goes there, a s he is very clean freak, which I like!!! a platter w/2 sides set you back $ 8.00.fish ones are $ 12.00 platter. They also have sides: rice & beans, plain rice, steamed cabbage, mixed vegetables Specialty sides: Ackee & codfish, mac & cheese, seafood salad, potato salad, fried plantain, fried dumplings, festival. Had desserts: Sweet pot. pudding, red Velvet cake, carrot cake, fruit cake –But didn’t try . Return factor: Yes, definitely. As far spice scale: It’s moderately spicy TOME!!!
