Good feel. Bit of a wait but the pancakes are bomb. Made from scratch and I think we’ll worth the wait if you have the time. They have a Tv screen too so if you want to watch something just ask.

Good food, good service. Basically everything you could want from a diner. Great for breakfast or lunch if you want something quick and fun.

Delicious. My turkey sandwich was fresh and flavorful. My wife’s omelet was great. Couple that with good service, clean kitchen(visible) and restroom, and reasonable price, and in my book you have a winner.

Stopped in on our way from airport to hotel, looked busy/popular which seemed to be a good sign. Only had to wait about 10 minutes for a table to open up, and there was counter seating as well. Extensive menu(omelets, pancakes, breakfast sandwiches, burgers, etc) so it was hard to decide what to get. I think one of the chefs is Caribbean and his gallo pinto was yummy. Husband had corned beef hash and literally commented that it probably came out of a can(but he says that about all corned beef meals he eats… yet he keeps on ordering/eating them). The house potatoes were undercooked, not crispy at all. If we were to be in the area again, would maybe be tempted to come back and order lunch instead of breakfast. Service was a little frazzled and it looked the chef kept having to come by and clarify/correct orders. Prices not bad.

We couldn’t even try the food. The person who us to sit sat a couple five/ten minutes after us and gave them menus and took their drink order without even looking at us. We were totally ignored and decided to just walked out. I will never return.

Yeah, the service isn’t great. They really need to do something about that, but the food is really, really good. There’s a reason why they’re packed. The bread is always very good, and we enjoyed the omelettes.

Low rating because of food. Got a side of pancakes and french toast for breakfast. Was pretty excited to dig in but realized that there was a problem during my first bite… The pancake tasted like omelette and bacon, and the french toast tasted like oil. Pancakes and waffles are some of my favorite things… I can’t believe I tasted what I tasted. The cooking grill doesn’t have designated spots to cook certain foods, and it does seem like they care much about cleanliness(this isnt something I care much about as long as the food is good). Service is ok. Ambiance is cute. Long wait time. Don’t think it is worth it.

Now this is the real deal. Super friendly, delicious, kind of greasy. Also, amazing art. Andy bought a version of a classic piece with a Pikachu on it. I had pancakes. They were rad.

Been a regular here for a few years — always get a great, quick, cheap breakfast. Love great people who run this place, too. All-in-all an awesome, genuine neighborhood institution. Also the coffee is so so good, and bottomless…

Extremely tasty breakfast! We stopped there on a whim and were blown away. Friendly staff, funky décor, great pancakes, flavorful hash browns, fine huevos rancheros. We sat at the counter and this was fun. Fair prices, above average, FRESH food. We’re heading back again in the morning… what more can I say?(Looking forward to check out lunch at some point).

Great food, but the service was bad enough to leave a bad taste in my mouth. * Place wasn’t particularly busy, but it took them 10 minutes to take our order. * My brother and I both ordered the Epic Mexican Omelette, but my brother’s came with salsa on top and mine didn’t. When I asked for salsa, they told me it’d be a dollar extra. I had to remind them that this was not the case. * My toast came out unbuttered. * Server half-filled my brothers coffee cup from the very bottom of the pot; said he’d come again later to fill his cup the rest of the way, but never did. The omelette was totally delicious. The homefries were quite bland. The coffee was normal diner coffee.

I frequently order breakfast from Mass Ave Diner through Grubhub. I typically order the chocolate chip pancakes with a side of bacon and so far they have been excellent. The bacon cheeseburger is also good.

If you are looking for a tasty simple breakfast that gets the job done, this is your place! Mass Ave diner has a homely atmosphere and the servers are very friendly and accommodating. I ordered the western omelette which came with toast and home fries. My husband ordered the huevos rancheros. My omelette was phenomenal. The salsa on my omelette was the star. It added just the right amount of spiciness and complimented the egg flavors well. The rye toast with butter and home fries were pretty delicious as well. My husband said he enjoys his meal as well all though he did mention the tostada was a bit oily. He was thrilled about the free coffee refills. I would say to hold off ordering the orange juice. It tasted like watered down box juice to me. Don’t forget to check in and use the 5% Unilocal coupon here!

The place is tiny so you might have to wait for a table, but it’s worth it! I went for brunch with some friends and we all really loved it. They have mimosas, the food is delicious, the prices are reasonable, and the staff was super friendly. What more can you ask for in a brunch?! I will definitely be back next time I’m in Cambridge, if I lived in the neighborhood this would definitely be a regular spot for me.

A solid diner right outside of Central Square. It’s a bit tight inside, but the turn around for a table is pretty quick. The food’s decent. The home fries and Huevos Rancheros stick out as must haves. The smoothies are also top notch, and very affordable. The service stood out as above and beyond. Quick, responsive, and willing to change orders and meet the crazy requests of some customers. All around a solid place if you’re in the area.

I was in the area today, and was in the need of a delicious reuben sandwich for lunch. I did a quick search, and decided to go do a takeout order. I walked a few blocks to a tiny hole in the wall diner. Small, but still busy around 2:30. I ordered a reuben with French fries to go. It took about 10 mins for the food to get ready and brought over to me. The fries(ordered on the side) were very homemade, with no salt on them. That was nice to have an option of the amount of salt on my fries. The sandwich was delicious, on marble rye. It came with a side of coleslaw and a dill pickle spear. It was a nicely stuffed sandwich, with just the right amount of everything.

Delicious! Can’t complain. Small little diner with your typical breakfast foods. Cheap and not too crowded! It was around $ 5 for French toast and I also got eggs, sausage, toast and home fries for $ 6 or $ 7. Typical prices!
