Not a place I like, has a burnt flavor. Find a better place in another town. This place has never been a consideration.

Like others, the buffet lacked a buffet. Everything was cold, hard, tough and not much to go off of. Having a quit business meeting and getting out, I would not recommend this to others.

If I could rate 0 stars, I most defiantly would. Horrible service along with terrible food makes for a place I will no longer give my business to. There are way better places to eat within traveling distance.

Do not bother. We stopped for lunch here today and it was the worst mistake. We arrived almost an hour after they opened and the buffet wasn’t set up. The server was friendly enough, but didn’t bother to bring us additional utensils or napkins(the table was set for 2) for the 4 of us. We got those from the buffet line. We ordered cream cheese wantons and all you could taste was very old fryer grease. They were served with some kind of orange vinegar«sauce» that was as tasteless and as thin as water. And no additional plates were brought for us to share the appetizer. As for our main entrees, we each received a plate of protein. No veggies. No rice. Excuse me? Oh I’ll be right back with the rice just as soon as I refill your drinks and run back to the kitchen for that take out order…5 minutes later we had rice. In a large serving bowl, with no spoon in it to serve ourselves. Back to the buffet line to find the utensils and get a spoon. The food was served on a very small plate, overflowing so it messed all over the place and there no place to put the rice until you ate half of your meal. I order the«General Chao» and all you could taste was the nasty, old grease. This is the first time I’ve ever ate a meal and still feel like I was starving. The meal was terrible. And it was extremely over priced…$ 40.00 for 2 adult meals, 1 kids meal that the 2 juniors shared(we had to get extra plates from the buffet line), 1 order of cream cheese wantons and 2 sodas. The kids drank water. $ 40.00. I think I would’ve been more satisfied if I would’ve flushed the money down the toilet. Honestly, I’d rather eat week old French fries at McDonalds. Take your money elsewhere.

I went to this place once and once only! I will not be back, if the current staff is still employed. Even for a small town place this is bad! Upon entering the place we were greeted by a young gal who was very polite and showed us to our table. After the gal served us our drinks she sat at a booth where she was folding napkins around the silverware. A short time later a man walked over to the gal carrying a tin with hard boiled eggs in it. He asked the gal if she could slice the eggs using a egg slicer, the gal agreed. W/o washing her hands/or using gloves the gal stopped folding the napkins and started to slice the eggs right there at the booth! Customers came in she stopped slicing the eggs and walked to the register to help the customers. It had appeared that the customers prepaid for their order before sitting down, because accepted cash form the customers before seating them. After she had touched the register, cash and showed the customers to their table she walked back to the booth and continued with the egg slicing. I also seen the cook bring new dishes out to the buffet counter, then pour what ever was left in the old pan into the new pan a mix the whole bunch together. Long story somewhat short, I asked to speak to the manager, who to remedy the situation he offered a free buffet the nest time I come in, what! I was clear that I was not returning to this place and I requested my payment returned. He gave me a refund. Which I used for payment at another Chinese restaurant just down the street, that has turned out to be a good choice.

I have a lot of good memories of this place, so I generally go here when I’m up in Cambridge and craving Chinese food. They have a buffet, but it’s pretty limited, and I don’t usually get that because I don’t think you get a lot for the price. The food is good, in that typical«small-town chinese food» sense. My favorites on the menu are the«Hot and Sour Soup,» which is among the best I’ve ever had, and the fried rice. Unfortunately, the last few times I’ve gone they’ve changed the recipe or ingredients for the fried rice, and it hasn’t been as good. The soup, however, remains outstanding.
