CUTECUTECUTE One Apple Fritter here could feed a family of four. Not kidding. It is all about the Fritters. I like their coffee, and a couple of other pastries. Other than that I’M not all that jazzed about everything else. Although the Cranberry Walnut bread is good. I ordered some specialty items here for my daughter’s baby shower and was deeply disappointed. Next time I will know better. A P P L E F R I T T E R W O R L D

Great food, small town place. I had a meat pasty with gravy and my sister had the pulled pork sandwich. Sooo yummy! It’s a bakery/old fashion sandwich place. The cases of bakery delicacies were boundless. Order food at the counter and find a seat with your food on a lunch tray. Home style, fresh. Only negative I could say was the price for a small soda was $ 1.85 and it was a tiny glass, like a thimble size. Brought a box of delicious goodies home. Can’t wait to go back!

Herman’s has been in Cambridge as long as I can remember, my family moved to the area in 1972. They have a great staff and quality products! We order all of our holiday pies and dinner rolls from Herman’s. My family especially likes the cranberry walnut bread if you can get it before it’s gone. The lunch selection is wonderful with wraps, salads and the like. It’s hard to stop in for just a sweet tooth fix. I usually end up with a box and bag of goodies for the family :)

Dude… Dude. I was in Cambridge for a meeting that got cancelled. The secretary at the bank across the street said, «Ohhh! You should swing by our bakery on your way out of town! We think it’s pretty special.» «Special» is the biggest understatement of the year. This place serves up a kick-ass, light, soft, perfect loaf of molasses bread for 99 cents on Wednesdays. A LOAFOFBREADFOR99CENTS. And it rivals anything I’ve had in the Cities, where you’ll easily pay $ 6 for your pleasures. I handed over my single dollar bill to pay for my bread to a truly kind elderly lady behind the counter, and realized: this is what I want. This is how bakeries should always be. Local people, making great product, in a way that everyone can afford. And Herman’s is the living proof that this is possible. Thanks for restoring the faith, guys.

For a small town you get personalized service, fresh bakery goods. They also have a small coffee shop the locals hang out in before work or 10 am coffeebreak. I have ordered custom cakes here that are beautiful and delicious

This place is great! I have been going in for eight years. The baked goods are always fresh and the coffee is brewed all day in small pots. I have never had burnt coffee. They have cold pasta salads that are wonderful. The ladies at the counter are friendly and fast with service. It is great place to meet for coffee and rolls. At the present time there is mostly 50+ in age that go(Iam in my early twenties) but it is still nice to eat here.
