Terrible service. Damaged my trench coat buckles during wash and i have to buy new leather buckles myself to let her fix. But she sew the buckles the wrong way and have to re sew them. Will not visit this place again. Bring your clothes elsewhere if u dont want them to be damaged

This place is so bad I’m trying to restrain myself from using curse words in this review. Seriously, I paid $ 15 to clean my peacoat, and when I got it it looks/​smells the same as before, with the same amount of hair and lint. WTF? Huge scam.

Have gone 3 times and twice had excellent service (including buttons redone, etc.) and always a friendly smile. once had just acceptable service (one suit jacket wasn’t as clean as I’d expect; next time I asked for more attention to be paid to pits, etc., and was great).
I don’t know if I’d go if I didn’t generally have a suit with me at MIT that needed cleaning, but it’s done me quite well.
Oh, and contra the other review, I find the staticky Chinese soap operas one of the pros of the joint — along with the cheerful proprietress one of the main things lighting up what is, agreed, a dreary location.

Avoid if possible. This is a dinky establishment in the basement of the MIT student center — tucked away, as if even MIT wants to deny its existence.
I’m living on campus this term and needed something dry-​cleaned overnight. I called at around 1pm, and was greeted with a friendly promise that as long as I got my shirts and slacks in that day, I could have it the next day. So I go in after class, at around 3, and the lady behind the counter didn’t accept my clothes, saying «you should have brought them in earlier.» To appease her, I paid cash and left.
The next day, I went at the end of the day, and the same lady tried to charge me for the same job. I told her I had paid cash, and she claimed that whenever someone pays she signs the receipt. I showed her my receipt, as well as my EXACT CHANGE IN CASH from the day before. No dice. I paid again because I was in a hurry, and will not be going back again.

Try the millions of dry-​cleaning shops in Back Bay instead. I go to Galleria Cleaners at Mass. Ave. and Marlborough when possible.
