First off, I love the dog friendly patio! The food was delicious and large in quantity. The staff was friendly enough. Patio has beautiful flowers and a fountain. I’d definitely recommend this place.

Great atmosphere. Slow service, but good food. Avocado supreme was delisch– fresh– yummy. Omelettes are okay, but I don’t care for omelettes. ORDERTHEABELSKIVERS!(However it’s spelled — Danish pancake balls)

Waitress seems miserable, hostess was nice. Food was horrible. Inedible, sent it back. If you like grease dripping from your plate you might be interested.

Service was good here, but could have been a bit more attentive. A server set our tables with knives and spoons but nor forks. I thought someone else would bring them, but that wasn’t case. I had to flag someone about it when we were served our food, and we still did not get our forks. My friends enjoyed their food, Eggs Sonora and Blueberry Pancakes. I opted for the Apricot French Toast, which sounded good on paper, but did not taste as good. It was just very mushy and overly sweet after I drizzled some syrup over it. I’d pass on this.

The blue berry pancake was full of blueberries and done quite well. The eggs Sonora was decent but the apricot french toast was soggy with the whip cream between the toast. The fruit cup had somewhat unripe melons and cantaloupe. Not quite the season for it I guess. Overall a good experience except for the french toast.

I had the Spinach and Mushroom omelette, that came with a homemade biscuit and country potatoes. Upon arrival we were immediately seated and offered coffee. Customer Service was excellent and after putting our order in the food came out 10 minutes later. I felt like I was eating at Granny’s house because it was truly a warm and cozy place. STOPHERE if you want great food and service!

Kurtis and I came up to Cambria for my birthday weekend and just ate here for breakfast. Customer service is amazing. The food is comforting! They put a candle in a muffin and gave us two mugs to go. Such a great atmosphere and wonderful waitstaff and owners!

Food was good, but they took forever to bring the food out. We were kind of in a hurry and it didn’t seem like they really cared. No one really checked on us and refilled our drinks. I wasn’t so upset because I had my mimosa but my boyfriend was really irritated. Don’t think we’d come back again if given the chance. Just wasn’t a great experience.

Creekside Gardens is located within a small plaza full of antique store and some other cafes in the town of Cambria. While making a trip to up north, my friend and I decided to stop by Creekside Gardens for breakfast. There is both interior and exterior seating in the restaurant. The outside tables were still wet with dew when I was seated, which I found unprofessional considering that those are tables that your customers are seated at. The restauraunt had been open for around an hour and half when we arrived, but the employees were still getting the outside tables dried and ready. Minus one star due to the preparation. The Apricot Stuffed French Toast makes my heart melt. I’m more of an an omelette person, but the sound of an apricot french toast was too good to pass at the time. The french toast was delicious and I highly recommend it. My friend had a Monterey scramble, which looked as good as any other scramble. The muffin accompanied with the dish was extremely stale(store-bought probably) and he did not finish the muffin. The Apricot French Toast was a highlight breakfast meal during my trip up north. If I were to stop by Cambria again, I would love to come give this meal a second taste — after the tables are dried too.

We always go to Cambria and try to eat out at least once during our week stay every year. And when we do, we like to try different places. We went to Creekside Gardens for brunch before heading back home. I picked this place because of it’s Unilocal rating and reviews. We were disappointed. Food was alright. Not impressed at all. Nothing extraordinary. On the menu, they have«Aebleskivers served with Danish sausage from Solvang»… I got excited and ordered that! Sausage was good but aebleskivers were meh! Never gonna order one again unless I’m in Solvang or at a real Danish Restaurant! Service was poor! We were told to sit anywhere. Maybe because we came in on a Tuesday morning they weren’t so busy we didn’t have to wait to be seated!!! With that said, we sat at our table of choice in their outside/patio seating for 15 minutes before someone even came to bring us the menu… And was told our server will be with us shortly. He took our drink orders and brought out set-ups. Took another 15 minutes before our server came to get our orders! Good thing we were not in a hurry or starving at that time or I would have either walked out or lost it and said something that would make my husband want to leave and pick a different place to eat before someone messed up our food orders! They were not busy… plenty of empty tables… but not sure if they are short-handed or just plain slow.

MEH! Uninspired, there are better options unless the town is packed and you can’t get in, this is like the flailing farm team of lunch alternatives. Offering breakfast all day likely scores them lots of extra business. No options for alternate breakfast meats. They don’t come over to refill my coffee. They don’t bring over some jam or honey for my biscuit, which is likely home made but needs something more to make it memorable. Overall the food is very average in a town with fantastic eateries and a focus on gourmet and fine wines. If that’s your thing, AVOIDTHISPLACE. We ordered a breakfast and a lunch dish. The Creekside salad with«Chicken or Albacore Tuna» comes w/a mayo infused chicken salad. Not a nice piece of grilled chicken the rest of the Cobb-like salad was nice. The egg dish, named Town & Country, was truly uninspired. Coffee, not the worst diner joe but close. Then the check, $ 12 for a salad and $ 12 for a couple eggs with scallions dumped on top(oh yeah potatoes I did not eat and the afore mentioned biscuit. They did after all bring over some Smuckers Yum-not). I did not bother with pics of the food as I did not want to mislead Unilocalers, the taste was MEH!

I don’t appreciate being LIED to. Arrived around 9am. About 15 minutes afterwards, a family of four arrived and sat next to my table. Later, I called the waitress over to inquire the status of our food because it was nearly 30 minutes since we ordered, and the family next to us already got their food before mine. The waitress said, «they’re(the kitchen) making the top for the cinnamon rolls.» 10 minutes later, the waitress returned with our order withOUT the cinnamon rolls and said, «we don’t have cinnamon rolls today.» Why did she make the previous statement if they didn’t have the rolls, and why tell us after 40 minutes of waiting? I don’t mind slow service, but LYING to customers is NOTACCEPTABLE. I’m giving 2 stars because the food was good.

Been here over an hour, jus got seated waited another 20 min to get drinks… Another 15 to order… Maybe I can review the food if it ever gets here, finally got here, actually quite good… Showed up at 10 and I’m leaving at noon, way too long of a process makes my previous 1 star a 3 cuz the food was very good

One of my favorite spots in Cambria(and there are a few). They are open until 2pm and do lunch and breakfast. Outstanding Hashbrowns, Eggs, Bacon, Pancakes and sandwiches. Good coffee and reasonably priced. There is sweet outdoor patio.

Huge Omelettes, delicious French toast! Just what we needed for breakfast. The outside seating was adorable and allowed for dogs. I had the apricot French toast which had apricot preserves and whipped cream cheese in between two pieces of French toast. Sounds like it would be too sweet, however it was just right. The apricot preserves had a nice tartness to it and the cream cheese was a wonderful balance. I did not even need the syrup.

Not bad! Very friendly and quick service! Good size portions so you are getting your money’s worth! All of the employees acknowledged a great number of customers by their first name which suggests that this place is a favorite amongst the locals. And for good reason! This place is now also on our personal favorite list and we look forward to coming back again soon!
