Valentino’s Take-n-Bake Pizza & Deli

I stopped in here again for lunch and was so pleased! I had the Hot Chicks sandwich and it was delicious. Samantha provided excellent customer service and had my sandwich out so quickly. She was friendly and her interactions with other guests were also very pleasant. I love this place and was happy to see they are consistent. I could see myself coming here weekly I love it so much!

I cannot believe I am just now discovering this place! I went in the other night to get a take and bake for a study group I was having. The girl Lauren recommended the Hot Chick pizza and oh my gosh I was not disappointed. It was a huge hit. I’ve been craving it ever since. I also had a dinner salad with some fresh cheese and the Italian/​ranch dressing and it was fabulous. The dressing was recommended by the girl as well. Such a unique dressing. I cannot wait to go back and try out other pizzas, but I am telling you it’s going to be hard not to gravitate to the hot chicken one because it was one of the best pizzas I’ve had. The onions and chicken and the sauce was such a good combination. The take and bake is so convenient. Much better than delivery! I’m going to tell everyone about this place.

Valentino’s is truly a hidden gem in Camarillo. it is worth the stop is you are just driving by! I usually come once or twice a week for their salads. Their salads are PACKED with fresh goodies and the Italian dressing (balsamic) is fantastic with the perfect amount of tang. The chicken is amazing always perfectly cooked and never any gross parts (cartilage etc) in any bite. I literally come here any chance I get and can’t think of a better salad. The take and bake pizza is so much fun and super tasty. The sandwiches are best on the sub rolls and I highly recommend the sweet and spicy sausage sub. SO MUCH FLAVOR. As if the quality of the food isn’t enough, the prices are hard to pass up with almost everything on par with what you would get at a fast food place. Valentino’s truly is «as good as it gets»

Gave this place a try and was flat out impressed with:
1. The quality and how fresh the food tssted.
2. The staff was very friendly and helpful with my rather complicated order.
3. Nice, clean and safe location.
4. Lots of food choices given a smaller location.
*Would love if they add pasta with a meat sauce to their menu.

It’s kinda a 3.5. Large salad feed me, my wife, and daughter. I go with the Mediterranean for sure, it’s good, but not the best. Definitely better than any pre-​made though. Had the veggie pizza and thought it was excellent. As with other review the crust didn’t turn out right. Maybe my oven? I need to try to cook in my smaller oven before I step it up to a 4

Even though finding this place was accidental, my boyfriend and I ordered two personal pizzas from the owner. Being pizza fanatics, we are fairly picky about our pizza but LOVED every bite! Haven’t done the take home pizza quite yet, but will try it in the near future :)

My family is big into Valentino’s. It’s about the only pizza we get now, and we love that we can bake it at home and eat it fresh and hot! Every topping combo we’ve tried is delicious, but especially the Barbecue Chicken and the Pep Bomb are awesome. Always friendly, fast service, too!

First time here. The staff is super nice and the place is small, but well kept. I can only base my review on today’s lunch. I got an Italian sub, which was pretty lack luster. I love a good Italian sub and I got the feeling that the bread wasn’t quite fresh and the meat wasn’t the highest quality. Not bad and definitely still beats subway or something like that, but it’s not the best kept local secret that I was looking for.

Moved out of the area and seriously missing Valentino’s. Italian sub with extra dressing is on the must-​have list when I’m back in town.

Four stars for service. I think everyone knows by now that pizza is one of my least favorite things to get so I do my best to avoid pizza places. Came here for a work thing. The idea of Valentino’s is in the title of the place– you order the pizza and take it home to bake in your oven.
For some reason, my supervisors blanked on that being the idea of the pizza place and the folks here were nice enough to bake the pizza for us and subsidize the cost. So kudos to Valentino’s for being nice to us idiots. And for that alone, I give them four stars. The pizza itself, is well pizza, and I never speak too positively of pizza so I will keep the comments to myself.

I love the great customer service! The food is really good. I like their salads and the ranch is the best around! I even like that at lunch they sale cooked pizza by the slice. The cookies are good. This place is more than just a take and bake.

I love the pizza, my favorite is Hawaiian with jalapeños. I recommend their pizza. It’s delicious!

I love this place! great subs and salads. Customer service is two thumbs up and they really care about their customers. been coming here for sometime to get their salads and subs. Gotta say their sub is way better than subway. I’ve tried their pizza and it was really good. Definitely a go to place to get salad, sub, and pizza.

I love this place! It is my go-​to place whenever I am hungry or need a salad. Their Italian dressing is just absolute bliss. The staff is super friendly and they remember my order! (Major brownie points). I always recommend Valentino’s to my friends and many of my staff at work come here to eat and we love it!
Things to try:
Chicken Little, Jason’s Cure, Veggie Delight, Turkey Sub, Tuna Delight and must have their Italian dressing.

Just got turned on to this place by some friends. Love it.
The pizza is great and it makes it so easy to pick it up and cook it at our house.

The Pep Bomb pizza is just mind-​blowing. It’s so good that you might literally die. The amount of pepperoni on it is heart-​stopping.
Tip: stick with the pizza. Their sandwiches have been terrible in my experience. It’s ok. I don’t go there for the sandwiches.

Was at Starbucks and decided to follow my craving for a slice of pizza. I’m very disappointed. One pizza in the pizza by the slice oven with choices of — plain cheese, pepperoni, pineapple or mushroom with olive. I was sad … It was the most bland pizza I’ve ever had. I’m not even going to finish it — waste of $ 3. The staff seems nice tho but I won’t be back. Photo of what I’m tossing out

Never have I ever … Taken a pizza home and baked it before! But I am now a believer! The Pep bomb pizza was to die for the only thing that upset me was that I ate it all… like all by myself. Yeah that was depressing but well worth it.
Also Jason who took my order was super helpful and did not mock my zillion questions on how to best prepare the pizza. I did however notice once I was home that there were instructions on how do bake it included so I basically wasted his time and yet he was still gracious. So that speaks volumes there. (Trust me I am obnoxious)

My husband and I love trying new pizzas every time we go here and we’re never disappointed. You just can’t beat the quality and freshness of Valentinos. And it also just feels great to support a local business :)

BEST salads ever! The sandwiches are also super good! I love the Mediterranean salad and I am hooked on it! Everything on the menu is yummy. Everyone who works here is super friendly and not just at this location.

Recently moved to the area and came across this place on Unilocal.Personable down to earth service immediately puts you at ease. Tried the Pep-​bomb, chef salad, and garlic toast. Food was delish. 4 stars for service, quality ingredients, presentation, and location. I only wish they offered a military discount and delivery. I look forward to making this place a Friday tradition.
