Came here shopping for a birthday gift. We were greeted and asked if we needed help. After making a purchase I thought I was overcharged. Went back in and the price was explained to me. In addition I was offered a 20% off coupon so I saved on my purchase.

Though I grew up in rural Ohio, I am not really an outdoorsy person nor do I like outdoors-​looking apparel, but I was able to find a jacket here that combined nice-​looking with warmth and casual.
It was a very good price too and it felt like one of the better deals among all of Camarillo’s outlet stores (you really have to comb through these stores to make sure you are getting both quality and a good deal).
Parking is free in Camarillo Outlet’s large parking lot.

A curmudgeonly creature of habit, I’ve worn the same pair of clunky, black waffle-​stompers for the the past 10 years. I love those shoes. Yes, they’re ugly. Yes, I’ve had to cobble them back together with Shoe Goo and scuff cover several times. But, they are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever owned and they’ve served me well for – literally – thousands of miles. When the leather finally started to split, I had to admit that I needed a new pair.
I looked on-​line for the same make and model as my beloved stompers, but they apparently stopped making them around the time the last ice age ended. Thus, I had to go shopping for something similar. I ended up at the Timberland Factory Outlet in Camarillo.
I found a perfect replacement pair of clunky, black oxfords AND a cool pair of black Chelsea boots. Both were on sale for $ 49.95. (I saw the same boots at Macy’s for $ 140.00.) Wait, it gets better: I got an extra $ 10 off for my purchase because it was over $ 100.
Two great pairs of shoes for less than the price of one? Deal! It’s nice to find an outlet store that actually has some awesome bargains.

I’m convinced that I’d be an awesome secret shopper because I seem to be invisible to the staff of retail stores.
A lousy economy, retail sales plummeting, jobs being lost by the hundreds of thousands nationwide, and staff of this store couldn’t take the smallest of effort to welcome me nor thank me as I walked out the door some 10 minutes later.
Timberland: please be advised that I was there to spend money, but your people didn’t seem to want it, so I went elsewhere.
