4 stars because I’ve heard only good things about Rolling Pin. I unfortunately can’t give 5 stars because the three times I have tried to come try one, they’ve been sold out. I know the line is always super long and people love them. But they need to find a way to make more. Maybe move into the old Haggens location so you can make a grocery store size selection and people won’t go home disappointed. I’ll try again tomorrow.

Love love love. Tiger tail, must get. I love theirs more than the Donut Man in Glendora. My favorite though is the Bear Claw. Did not expect to like it and did! The donuts are fresh, the people are so nice and it is a must stop when you are passing through!

I had the classics(donut twist and an apple fritter), but they were different. They were so good. I even got a free donut today too! Yey.

Best. Donuts. Ever. The only downside is they no longer sell cronuts, those were the best! The chocolate chip donuts are a close second! Typical weekend there is a line around the building, so come early or be prepared to wait in line. Definitely worth the wait!

There is absolutely no wonders why they’ve gotten«best donuts in Ventura country» for the last like 10 years they’re amazing! I tried my first cronut here several years ago and I became addicted! They are soooooooooo good! It’s best to go here really late at night since that’s when they’re making the donuts you get them as fresh as they come and still warm!

Donuts were good but a bit overpriced. Would probably get donuts at the corner donut shop instead. Nothing otherworldly here.

This little hole in the wall building is fantastic! My hubby said I need to try one of their donuts!!! That was an understatement! I am addicted! I dropped by and fresh, warm, wonderful donuts! Some times I call ahead just to make sure they’re not sold out!

There is no secret that Rolling Pin is where it’s at when it comes to donuts. Even if you’re just stopping by Camarillo, take a moment to get some delicious donuts from Rolling Pin. The chocolate roll is super awesome! So is there ham and cheese croissant thingy. Seriously, I don’t think you can go wrong here!

Yesss please!!! We dropped into Rolling Pin around 9pm. They didn’t have too many choices yet. But the donuts were all warm and fresh! We got the blueberry crumb and regular blueberry. Loved them both and wish we picked up more! Def, going to go back! Doooooonutss!!!

I generally love this place. It has always been one of my favorite late night stops. I, however, had a very poor experience this morning. While the donuts i bought were fantastic the young women at the window was far from that. She was rude and short. I understand it is 8:30Am but your job is to make someones morning a little more pleasant with a donut and a fake smile.

So I just wanna say that these are hands down the best doughnuts in Ventura County, if not the whole world. I have been struggling to not come here all the time for doughnuts because they are that. freaking. good. Try the chocolate chip doughnuts, the tiger tail, the butter bars, the apple fritters, try every single one. None of them will disappoint you. I don’t know what they put in it, but they’re dangerously good, so now you’ve been warned that you may develop a doughnut habit after eating here. Approach with caution.

Holy schmokes! I finally got a chance to check this donut shop out. I’ve been hearing about it from the parentals every time I visited and drove by. They said it’s a popular donut shop and people line up outside early in the morning because that’s the time you have to go to get some of their goodies. Seems they start baking late at night and open up around 6:00 am. Best time to go get some fresh donuts is 11pm to 1am. Once they run out, that’s it. Done for the day, shop closed. They’ve been given the honor of being deemed«The Best in Ventura County». Hearing that, you know I had to try them out! It’s a nondescript donut shop where you order at the window outside and either take it to go or, if you’re lucky, grab one of the limited tables on either side of the building. I got there early afternoon over the holidays before heading to the outlet mall nearby and they had a few donuts left, not many. They had a few Cronuts left but being that I’m not that huge of a fan, kept looking. The most noticeable one were these chocolate covered bars with chocolate chips on top. I nabbed one of these and chomped on it on the spot. Verdict? Yeah, it was very good. The donut was moist and fluffy. I could only eat half of it and saved the other half for later. I want to come back one time early to see what other flavors they have going on. They accept credit cards for a $ 4.00 minimum. They have a Unilocal check in for $ 1 off which I unfortunately failed to take advantage of. Oh well, I know I’ll have a chance to take advantage of it because, I’ll definitely be back! ;)

Rolling Pin was open on Christmas Day(YAY!), so after a movie my sister, niece and I headed out specifically for their buttermilk donut holes. Their buttermilk donut holes are worth a «cheat day» for those who don’t indulge on sweets regularly– trust me. They won’t disappoint. The donut holes are $ 4 for a dozen and come in crumb, glazed or sprinkled. SODARNDELICIOUS… I crave them, especially the heavily glazed, fresh ones. There is always a line and as soon as we arrived, four other cars pulled up(this was around 7:30 pm). Service is always good. First time my sis and I went, we told the guy it was our first time there and he was helpful and friendly, made recommendations and broke down the list of donuts that they have, despite having a long line of customers waiting. Just FYI, there isn’t indoor seating. You order at the window and eat them in your car or at home. So far, Rolling Pin is still my favorite donut spot in Ventura County.

First of all, to everyone who has seen the picture on Rolling Pin’s Unilocal page, which is a donut shaped as male genitalia, it is not possible to get this. I would know I have tried multiple times. Although I have to say it is great marketing, to certain audiences. If you know what I am saying. The donuts are great here. They are constantly making them fresh. They have a large variety. Best of all, they don’t have hair in their donuts(I am looking at you Star’s donuts in Newbury Park). They have the best Cronuts, which is a hybrid between a croissant and donut. The Cronut is like the French and America got together to fight the British Empire again for freedom. Although, I wouldn’t recommend more than one, because then it’s going to be more like the French and Indian war. Another favorite is the Crusty(insert another C word), which is is covered in the crunch. Last, but not least. The Ding-Dong Donut, which is absolutely huge and could feed a whole family in Africa. By the way, If you go during the day, they won’t be open. They have an off schedule, so pay attention to that. Also, at night it be pretty packed. The line can get 2 times as long, as the amount raider’s fans. So about 20… Pricing, is alright. The cashier(Ricky Town) always guilts you into giving a tip, so there is also that. Can be a little expensive for donuts. Still worth it. Stay Classy Rolling Pin!

Apparently this place has been around forever, but I don’t live in this area so today was my first time here. There were a few patrons sitting outside when I got there at 11am which is kind of a weird time so I took it as a good sign. I looked around to see what they had first and nothing really looked good so I checked the menu. I hadn’t had breakfast yet so I decided to get the ham and cheese croissant. And just in case that wasn’t enough, I decided to get an apple fritter. Verdict on the taste: it could’ve been better. I’m not sure if it’s because of the time that I got it. What I mean is the batch that was out wasn’t fresh. At the same time I feel like it shouldn’t matter. There was a very small amount of ham and cheese in the croissant. If they doubled the amount it would’ve been better. Charge a little extra, I don’t mind. It was basically 80% bread. The apple fritter was so-so. I had a couple bites then tossed it. I suppose nostalgia is what draws people here. Maybe that and the fact that they make penis donuts if you call ahead. The service was weird. It started out nice enough. I was greeted by a guy and he was friendly when he took my order, but he threw my card back at me after my payment posted which I thought was weird. As for me, I’ll stick to hitting up my local Oxnard spot when I have a hankering for some donuts.

Your probably wondering, what’s so special about a donut? If you’ve had one, you’ve had a million of them. Word to the wise, you’ll be eating those words and you’ll have the donut holes to prove it. For the amateur Rolling Pin Customer the time schedule is tricky. Unilocal may say it’s open for business, but you might just end up arriving to a sold out sign in the window. Your best bet is to either go at night, or first thing in the morning… We arrived at 7:30 and there were a couple of people in front of us, by the time we left the line was wrapping around the parking lot, that’s how quick it gets busy. The donut holes or I should clarify But-a-milk holes are absolutely amazing, not airy like a normal donut hole, but not as heavy as a full on buttermilk bar. They come glazed, crumbed, or sprinkled. The blueberry filled donut was the bomb. While it’s a bit out of the way for me, I was intrigued by all the rave reviews & check ins and now I see why. By the way they serve Farmer Brothers Coffee, another win for the Pin!

Donuts taste fresh and are made in front of you. They’re not light and airy Krispy Kremes. These donuts are richer and even better! No seating inside, just a small donut stand with benches outside. Last night we picked up cronuts(croissant/donut hybrid), blueberry crumble, donut holes, chocolate cake donut, maple bar, and a few pink and blue glazed sprinkle donuts. We took bites out of all of them and by far the blueberry crumble and the Apple pie cronut are my favorite! What I appreciate about this place is the service and quality. The cashier was friendly, patient, and helpful. He helped us choose donuts because choosing a dozen is takes a lot of effort when everything looks yummy! Lastly, I don’t feel disgusting or that sick greasy feeling after eating Rolling Pin donuts so that is a god sign they change out their oil frequently. But on the other hand, that means more donuts for me! Thanks RP! See you soon :)
