Not only did I receive a response the same day I put in a request but someone came out and repaired our unit that evening. It was the hottest day of the year so far and our AC went out! They have had to come out twice and both times were accommodating to our working hours. Extremely friendly, courteous, personable, and efficient. I could go on and on about this awesome company from Laurie to both repair men that came out. Finally a company easy to get a hold of, a pleasure to work with, and that gets things done!

I came home on Friday night, just before 6:00 PM. I was gone for 3 days and had my AC set at 78 degrees for my dogs who were indoors (of course, taken care o by our pet sitter). When I waled in, I found three panting dogs and a warm house. With that, on a Friday night at 6:00, the likelihood that you would even be able to reach someone is pretty low. Well, I called Griswold Mechanical and spoke to, I think Marie (could have her name wrong), and she really understood and cared about my plight (going the weekend in Discovery Bay with out AC). She said she would check to see if she could get someone for Saturday and would call me right back. Well, she called several times and when she couldn’t get in touch with me, she sent a technician over to my house (Saturday morning) even though she could not get in touch with me. Needless to say, getting in touch with any service company on a Friday night is almost impossible. if you are lucky enough to speak with an actual representative of that company (vs an answering service), you would be lucky for them to be able to send someone out last minute on a Saturday morning. With Griswold, they effortlessly did both. Their customer service is beyond great and, although I hope my heater or AC doesn’t go out for some time, there is no other company I would use than Griswold.

Wow, I can’t believe no one has rated them yet. They are courteous and in my experience have been very helpful and fast about the things they have control over. We have called them a few times over the past 10 years for personal work as well as my husband calls them pretty often for many a/​c units we have at our church. I recommend them!
