Burger Hut

Absolutely terrible experience here. There is a mother daughter waitress team that bickered back and forth the whole time. If they weren’t going at each other, the mother was gossiping to customers about her daughter. Had to wait and get stared at for 5 mins until I said I was ready to order… The daughter is just learning and I’m so disappointed to hear the mother sabotaging her.
Got a simple double cheeseburger and fries, that took 15 minutes to get out to me. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because it was a cheap, greasy burger which was exactly what I was looking for… Though it wasn’t as cheap as I had hoped.

Homophobic creeps serve up a crumbly mass of greasy cheap meat. Truly gross and hateful.

Best little dive burger joint around. Great prices, awesome service. My burger had a mustard smiley face! I can’t wait to come back!

Use to LOVE this place. Anymore the food cost more and tastes horrible! The service is just as badI won’t be returning anytime soon BLAH!

The best fries with cheese. Burgers are good but can be over done sometimes. The ladies that work there are nice. Has that old diner feel to the place. I see a lot of people ordering fries with gravy. I want to try that next time.

We recently visited this place out of curiosity. We ordered the basic hamburgers for our first visit.
The burgers tasted like burnt wet newspaper that had been prepared on a greasy, filthy grill.
I am not sure what the cook thinks a hamburger should look like but ours were too small for the bun, which is likely a result of their oblong shape and absurd thickness for the quantity of meat offered. Even the topping were bland. I’m not sure how one gets bad lettuce and tomatoes in August, but somehow this place did. Perhaps they were in storage?
The atmosphere is cramped, stuffy, and loud. You can hear everyone else’s conversation whether you want to or not. The waitress was alright, but the loudmouth cook could be heard blabbing on and yelling in the back. Maybe he could spent more time trying not to burn a flavorless hamburger meat blob instead of going on absurdly in the back for everyone to hear. A terrible experience and one that we will not be repeating.

I go there about 3 times a year. When I go, it usually is a bit crowded, but hey, they serve really good food at low prices!!!

EW! We were in a hurry, and this place was convienient. I watched this greasy lookin guy with food (?) all over his clothes, cook my food w/​no gloves on, first of all. The servers were like 85 years old and had no personality… i tried to make a joke about something one of them said, and they just stared at me… awkward silence…
They don’t accept credit cards, Everyone else in there was a senior citizen, i guess seniors must not mind having a dirty fat guy w/​greasy hair and no gloves cook their food.
I couldn’t eat it, and i never send stuff back — so my husband (a human garbage disposal) ate his and mine — i’d rather just be really hungry at lunch time…

During busy mornings, the place is filled with smoke and cheap food. It has appeal for an older generation, but not for the young crowd unless they just want cheap food.
The cheese omellete tasted okay though, but there are other options of restaurants that are more appealing to me.
