Went for breakfast with my husband. Place wasn’t crowded at all. While we were eating the waitress came with our check, half way thru our meal. I find that quite rude. Otherwise the food was great and it came out quick.

Have been coming here since reopened. Was very good at first. The last two times poor service. Food not as good as it was also. My waffles were served cold and my husbands eggs and hash over cooked. Plenty of other places much better. Won’t be going back.

Pros — Good place for breakfast. Service was average. Food came out rather quickly. Nothing really stood out to me. Cons — Wifi did not work, and the server communication issues. I asked for non concentrated orange juice and she replied it is fresh but it’s «company» whatever that means. It was July and they had Christmas music on. Make sure to tell them to put the whipped butter for the pecan waffles on the side, they lump it on.

It is clear that lots of love has been poured into this great breakfast place. Lots of variety on the menu. We enjoyed eggs of all kinds. Plenty of gluten-free and health-conscious dishes, too. Waitresses have Christmas tree headbands and such. Very fun.

Great food and friendly staff. Lots of parking. Love their daily flavored coffee specials. Great place to meet up with friends or family for breakfast, brunch or lunch.

First time here since the business changed to Patti’s; my experience wasn’t the greatest. Ordered two different flatbreads and both were cold, hard, and had way too much Parmesan cheese(which is all you could taste). This is coming from a lover of all things cheese! Also had the«world famous» tortilla soup which was bland at best. Neither of us wanted any of it and we both left hungry. It seemed as if it sat out for a long period of time. I probably won’t go back.

TERRIBLE! Really has gone downhill, ever since it was switched from Moondance! The food either has no flavor or has too much spice! For example one of their omelette was loaded with a ton of chili powder which distracted my tongue from the entire meal because it was on fire!!! Also I caught one of their quote un quote line cooks in the back room on their phone! GROSS! Do you people know how many germs can be on a phone and you can get a staph infection which can lead to death! The wait staff has also go down hill you can’t understand a word they are saying, also if you ask them a question they look at you weird and sometimes they don’t get your order right instead of egg whites you just get yolks like seriously! I will not be returning anytime soon! Ay Revoir Pattis

Their food is fabulous! They have breakfast and lunch specials that are quite interesting and delicious. Then there is their different breads like zucchini and banana bread which is spectacular. Their staff is a little on the slow side even when it’s not that busy, but their food definitely makes up for it. I’ve tried several times ordering pick up and the woman who answers the phone usually gives me a hard time and hands off the phone to another person to order after I’ve already ordered. Their breakfast and lunch though is too good and everything is very homey on the menu.

Trying not to be negative so much. Just positive ones lately some of these places places make it so hard for me to stay positive. We’ll just leave it at that.

What a delightful little place! Met a friend for lunch here, and was pleasantly surprised with the bright, colorful, clean interior. Went with the Chicago Heat chicken sandwich, and I loved it! The sandwich was moist and had the perfect level of heat. I was able to substitute cottage cheese for the fries, and I was super happy with that too. Wait staff was friendly and attentive.

One of our go-to breakfast places. The food is good, but sometimes a little inconsistant. The service is friendly, you never feel rushed, it’s clean — and it’s really close to home! I find the egg type dishes are the best– definitely recommend for breakfast more so than lunch. The portions are very big– pancakes as big as the plate, luckily you can order 1,2 or 3. Nice neighborhood place with nice people.

Never had a bad or even average meal here. Excellent tortilla soup, you can stand a spoon in it! Service is always spot on and they are more than happy to give you a to go cup full of coffee.

Affordable good food I can’t say it’s the best of the best but it’s better than Panera and its in a good location I think I need to try more things on the menu I get the create your own omelet and which is very good. The imperial breakfast or eggs benefit is just what the body needs when it’s crazy food in the morning

I work in the area, and needed lunch. I originally called around 11:40AM, but no one picked up! I tried calling them 3 – 4 times, and still kept on going to voicemail! So I just figured they weren’t setup for phone orders; I called them again around noon, luckily it was picked up by a lady. When I asked about the multiple phone calls, she said she’s the only person working the phones… still should not go to voicemail. Next, after 10 minutes, I go in; I knew I was early because she said 15 mins, so I told the hostess that I will pay now, and then whenever the food was ready, I just pickup and go. I was waiting patiently, and after 5 mins, an inside cook brings in 2 carry out bags. One of them was read by the hostess and given to a lady waiting by her. Then she started attending another customer who was paying for his bill and totally forgot to look at the second order. She completely neglected the second carry-out! Then another customer started lining and new people flowed in; I lost total patience and cut in line and asked her if the carryout was mine. It turns out it was. She didn’t even apologize or say sorry; just handed me the package! She did say«Have a Good Day», but it wasn’t sincere and I was pissed by then. The food was amazing, but only 2 stars for completely forgetting about. Hostess is incompetent!

Have been here twice now, if u love to go out for breakfast & I do, this place is tops. It is pretty large & a really busy place. It’s privately owned & u can tell by all the personal touches. My fav thing is they have a different flavoured coffee, I’m not sure daily or weekly but I’ve had 2 different ones now & they give u the carafe! How many places do that, no more waiting for refills! I’ve had the same thing both times… the bacon avocado omelette with a dab of sour cream & side of salsa. You can get a side of pancakes instead of toast & they were some of the best pancakes I’ve ever had. We live in Orland Park & drive here, that’s how good it is!

SO glad that the other former Moondance Diner location turned into another breakfast place! My mom and I went here last weekend and were pleasantly surprised to see that the menu was exactly the same as the old restaurant, and the quality was right on par too. Everything I didn’t love about the old Moondance Diner sadly still stands, here — the parking is wonky, and there’s no good place to wait for your table. But I can look past a lot for a really good brunch, accompanied by kind service and reasonable prices. I enjoyed the Irish eggs Benedict(it had a much cuter name, but I can’t recall it) and it was fresh, hot, decadent, and generously portioned. Their flavored coffee was delicious, and I love that they leave you a whole carafe of coffee to refill with at your own pace. If you’re looking for a delicious brunch in Burr Ridge, make sure to come give this spot a try!

New place… very bright and colorful. Just walking in adds a little hop to your step. Came here on a weekday and I was surprised there was a good amount of people around. The menu had everything. I ordered from the«healthy» side of the menu… The Macho Man Omelette. an egg white omelette with veggies and I asked for extra avocado. Considering it was an omelette without cheese it was good… except the salsa that came along with it… not good. The best part of this place that when you ask for fruit instead of hash browns it is not the usual little pieces of fruit instead it was a big portion with a lot of variety(blueberries, strawberries, watermelon, pineapple.). There aren’t many breakfast places around the area… so this is a great spot.

My husband and I found on Unilocal and saw almost 5 stars, not realizing there were only 5 reviews, and decided to try. Very disappointed overall. Hostess and server were very friendly. My husband and I got the basics dish with bacon. He had toast and I had pancakes. Scrambled eggs way overdone. Both of ours. He said toast was good. Pancakes super small and thin; not fluffy. They tasted okay and the syrup was great. Potatoes were near cold. Kind of hard. Bacon delicious, but they brought one of his 4 pieces out clearly burnt. If I was the cook or server, I would not have sent it out. Very disturbing that they leave the same pitcher of water on the table for the next customer to use. We watched as they cleared tables around us and they always left the pitchers on the table. How do I know that someone didn’t reach into the pitcher and grab some ice with their hand? My sister would have, had she been there. She’s one who, after a meal, will reach in for ice to get sticky stuff off her hands. I did say something about that as we checked out. That’s a health department issue for sure. So, we don’t really recommend eating here.
