Denny’s

I am a sucker for breakfast food! This Denny’s has great customer service, and it’s open ²⁴⁄₇! I tried the chicken and sausage quesadilla and the hush puppies and loved it!

Wow, poor service. I sat down and nobody ever came over to my table. I waited for 35 minutes out of pure curiosity about how long I could sit there and be ignored. Turns out my patience is shorter than the wait. Won’t be coming back here again!

We live very nearby and believe this place is the reason why our home value is going to the moon. #blessed!
On a serious note, This place is a superb diner. Lifer waitresses/​waiters make a big difference!

Good food. Outstanding prices. Unenthusiastic customer service.
It’d been a few years since I’d been to a Denny’s but I was craving some type of French toast breakfast food and stopped at this location on a cold winter morning. I was solo and thought I’d get some work done on my laptop.
When I arrived, parking was easy. I noticed to-​go spots in the front.
Not sure why, but when I arrived I had to wait a while before I was seated. There was no line. I was simply ignored. I stood around for a bit and then tried flagging a waitress down who didn’t respond as I put «Excuse me» on repeat. Another waitress saw and I asked «Is it seat yourself?». She indicated it was not and apologized for the unexplainable wait.
I requested a booth by the window and was cold my entire meal. The wifi connection was weak and thus didn’t work for me in connecting my laptop.
My server was unenthusiastically good at his job. I don’t blame him. He was too good to work at this location and when I overheard him talking to other patrons about his job prospects I was not surprised.
The highlight of my visit was the food. It was delicious and for $ 12 I had leftovers. I ordered the apple chicken sausage with pumpkin pancakes, a cup of fruit, scrambled eggs hash browns and a coffee.
Did I mention how my experience was?

This is one of the better Denny’s restaurant I’ve been to. The waitresses are always nice and helpful. We were helped by Crystal, she very attentive to our needs, and really nice. We went for a late night meal. We ordered and food, and it was out in about 8−10mins which is pretty fast. Oh and they have clean bathrooms, which is a plus. Overall great location, and we will be going back.

After receiving a coupon for 20 percent off in the mail, I decided to give Denny’s another chance. Service in the past had turned me away from this place — and, as I recall, it’s been years since I walked in the place due to a couple of bad server-​experiences. However, on my latest visit, Crystal — my waitress — was exceptional, and the food was better than it had been in the past, as well. I had a four-​cheese omelette that came with spinach, diced onions and tomatoes, and more. The omelette was prepared very well — without mushrooms as I requested — and the hash browns and wheat toast were also done just right. As I remembered, I don’t particularly care for their coffee, but I ordered a cup to go along with the meal. Coffee there is still pretty strong. Needless to say, the price was decent with the 20% off-​coupon, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the service was exceptional this time around.

Came to this location a few months back, due to the Bolingbrook location being closed from a fire.
I’ve never received better service in my life. I don’t remember my waitresses name, because like I said, it was a few month back, however she was an older lady, and we were there around 1am. There were 5 of us, she never failed to give us refills, bring our food in a timely manner. She was extremely friendly, and talked to us. I truly look for that in good service, is somebody who is personable. Anyway, she even offered us drinks to go. All of us left, extremely satisfied with our service. We left our waitress a $ 37 tip. I hope Denny’s hires more servers like her. I have gone out of my way to come to this Denny’s on many occasions, because of this one night of excellent service. Two thumbs up.

Good place to get your nosh on!

It took them forever to give me my food. When it was all said and done, only half of my order was brought out. Once the order was brought out, I asked for the other half. The kid responded, «Oh, my bad I’ll go get that.» If I wasn’t with my wife and her family I would have corrected that situation quick but I kindly took my food and left it at that.

The food was good as expected. I mean it’s breakfast any time of the day. The only downside was the service, in particular mt server. I know this isn’t the Ritz but waiting 10 minutes for a water refill when there’s more staff than customers in the place is not acceptable by any standard.
I had the sausage skillet and eggs over easy which was amazing and sizzled for another 5 minutes. That’s what I like in a skillet meal.

Good service, typically breakfast food. Nothing special, but it meets expectation. No surprises.

Oh the Willowbrook Denny’s. I can’t be mean about Denny’s because Denny’s (tho not this one) was where my wife and I had coffee on our first date in college. It’s kind of nostalgic and special in a commercial kind of way.
What do I like about them? You always know what you’re going to get. The Willowbrook one is almost always busy; but not too busy to get a table. The servers are friendly and the food is, well, what you expect from Denny’s. Think about your favorite Denny’s food items: Moons Over My Hammy? Sure. The brown crosshatch hash browns. Check. Good food at late night hours? Bingo.
It’s not gourmet. It’s not five star. But it’s cheap, it’s tasty, and it’s always open.

Its a Denny’s. We’ve eaten here a couple times. Food was good. Service was good. But I think they’ve closed. There is an orange sticker on the door.

Love it here! We usually go later around midnight. We always ask for Crystal she’s amazing! Always give excellent service! And of course the food is always delicious!

Denny’s is Denny’s. Reasonably priced, edible food, and it’s open late at night. What else can I say?

I’ve ended up here twice lately in the middle of the night, looking for some breakfast. Once around 11:30 pm and once around 3:30 am. Both times, I ended up with perfectly cooked, very tasty food, served very quickly, and with friendly interactions with the staff. Exactly what I was looking for.
First time I had the Fit Slam — a very nice egg white scramble with spinach and halved cherry tomatoes, served with a dry english muffin, and a bowl of fresh fruit. Healthy and very tasty. The second time I was looking for more traditional and ordered my basic breakfast without even looking at the menu. 2 eggs over-​easy, with bacon, hash browns and wheat toast. All cooked exactly right. In and out in about 20 minutes.
I can’t say how they do when they’re busy, but the late night crew seems to have their act together.

Same old Denny’s. Service was on and off. No consistency. Food came out fairly quick; no complaints there. I appreciate the meat (no meat) choices when constructing your burger. Beef, turkey, veggie… plenty of options when deciding your lunch/​dinner sandwich creation. Decent location, hospitable however underwhelming staff, middle of the pack Denny’s franchise location.

We had a Friday night dinner at this Denny’s and everything was great. Service was good, the order was correct, the food was delicious and the price was very reasonable. I always leave Denny’s feeling satisfied and happy I chose to go there.

Haven’t been to Denny’s in ages and overall it wasn’t a bad experience. The building is fairly old, with a traditional Denny’s layout, like some many other throughout the US.
The staff was vary friendly and the service was great. Denny’s still has their classic menu items and they’ve also added many new items. They seem to be fairly high on cheese, devoting an entire selection of entrees and apps to them.
Overall my experience was okay. It’s Denny’s.

Baconalia.
Need I say more? My server’s name was Jesus and man did he save my wretched soul. He turned water into coffee and put bacon in my pancakes. If that’s not doing the Lord’s work then I dunno what is. The strips of bacon, that came alongside my pancakes WITH BACON IN THEM mind you, were cooked to a delicious crisp. I could’ve done with crispier hash browns but the over easy eggs were cooked just right; of course I put the bacon flavored table salt on them. It’s Baconalia!
My only regret was being too full from breakfast to partake in the Maple Bacon Sundae. It’s mere existence blurs the line between whether something so inconceivable was created by god or the devil.
