I’m 53 yrs old and had a stroke. Unable to safely drive /use my car or bicycle, I was stuck relying on Taxi’s, Über, and friends, I quickly started driving myself, my family and friends crazy. After reviewing my options it came down to a jetpack, hovercraft, 3 wheeled bicycle or golf cart. First 2 sounded like a lot of fun but for obvious reasons not doable, the 3 wheeled bicycle ride would be too bumpy and the exercise not good for my delicate brain vessels during my healing process, so that left the golf cart. A cart has a smooth ride(my choice being Yamaha’s independent suspension), simple. safe, stable, and plenty of room for groceries and friends. In the Minneapolis area there were a lot of dealers. Simply because of their location and the lack of sales bullshit on the phone, I stopped by Yamaha Golf & Utility, Burnsville MN. Their showroom had several carts on display and a good selection of accessories. Buildings in the rear had hundreds of new and used carts to choose from. Within 10 minutes I was cruising around the lot in one of their carts, I chose a color and to go with gas(VS electric). The next afternoon the salesman delivered my new street legal Personal Transportation Vehicle with optional accessories installed to my home 40 miles south of their store. I am now safely and comfortably independent and am meeting new friends every day.
