This is you middle of the road Japanese take-out restaurant, the food quality is up and down, and the service is average! My main complaint is the cleanliness of the dinning room, the tables are sticky, the walls are sticky, it just needs a good deep cleaning!!! I love the soup you get before the meal as an appetizer, the ginger sauce is also really good!!! I usually get the steak and chicken hibachi with no noodles!!! I have issues mixing fried rice and noodles!!! Lol!!! The prices are great!

I really love the food but if you are big on customer service, don’t even try it. The waitresses are horrific even if you try to take it to-go!!! I have tried eating in and taking it to-go thinking«how can they mess up if I don’t even eat in?» But that was a joke. They are all incredibly rude and have messed up several orders and get snappy if you ask them to fix the mistakes. I have given them multiple chances to change my opinion on the customer service due to the taste of their food but I vow not to go back until staff has been changed.

I went there with my fiancé for dinner the food was really good, however the service wasn’t i have a feeling the waitresses were racist and had a problem with us eating together at the restaurant, other than the uncomfortable atmosphere and racial tension it was great. Next time we will probably go to the place right across the street tho, it was an extremely uncomfortable to be stared at while eating

As for a small Japanese Steakhouse/Take-Out, this is the best you’re gonna get without going to one where they cook on the hibachi in front of you! The food is great. Good prices. Friendly service! I would highly recommend!!! **Update: I am editing because I had a VERY bad experience one night and it has lowered my opinion because of the actions of the manager«Nick». I ordered a hibachi chicken plate with NO mushrooms and asked to have extra zucchini instead of the mushrooms. This was a take out plate, so I went and picked it up, as I do most other visits, and when I got home, I discovered there were NO zucchini pieces ATALL! I called back up there and they said there was nothing they could do. I had them call the manager, and they called me back saying the manager said they give extra chicken instead of zucchini wen you order no mushrooms. Ok, fine, but what about the zucchini that comes standard on my plate?!? They said they couldn’t correct the issue. I asked to speak to the manager, who was apparently not in the store. I then called the N. Church St. location and the girl there gave me his cell phone number. I called and spoke to him and told him«I am on my way back to the restaurant to either get my zucchini or to get my money back.» He said that there was nothing he could do. At that point, I was FURIOUS. I told him either they fix the issue or I would be going to multiple news outlets to let them know about the experiences. At that point he said he was calling the restaurant and having them fix the side of zucchini for me. Gloria, who is an employee there was very nice and she even said that she told them that the order wasn’t correct but they said it was, so she handed me my food anyways. While she shouldn’t have let me have it with it being incorrect, her doing this to make a point that they weren’t doing customers right was a good stand for her to take! My family has returned since to eat in the restaurant once, and it was very good, and the service was great. So, for now, they will get a 3 star review from me.

The Japanese food here is really good. The vegetables are always fresh; you can tell when their not. Love the ginger dressing over their salad. The wait staff is friendly and very attentive. Kudos to Sakura!

This is a restaurant I ate at weekly because their scallops were EXCELLENT. Without warning the $ 17 scallop dinner became a $ 17 «imitation» scallops dinner. The shrimp dish is okay if frozen small shrimp are acceptable. The best bet and safest bet is the chicken or steak. The salad is fresh and crisp. The rice and grilled veggies are good. This used to be my favorite place in Burlington to eat. If they ever bring back the scallops, it may be my favorite place again. I haven’t eaten here since the change. Staff is friendly, restaurant is clean. 2 – 2012 Because I was craving scallops, I decided to «try again». Same disappointment with the scallops, added with a surprising NEW disappointment. I spoke with the manager about the scallops… RUDE!!! The guy called me a liar. Bad, bad customer service. I’ve vowed to stay away.

I love eating here. You can get the same great food that you would get at a fancy Japanese Steakhouse with out all the flash or price to go with it. My favorite is the Sakura Dinner which has steak, chicken, and shrimp. My family loves to eat there, just wished it was a little more cheaper but can’t complain, you get enough food to make sure your full and possibly take some home.
