Aamco Transmissions

We took our vehicle here when we thought we were experiencing a transmission issue and we were close by. It ended up being the motor mounts.
We had them repair them. They were pricey (indeed!), but they appeared to be genuinely honest and trustworthy. And the mounts were supposed to come with a warranty.
Fast forward less than a year. One of the mounts went bad. Horribly bad. We took it back, believing it to be under warranty, and the guy actually had the gall to tell my husband I must have been four-​wheeling or something to make them break. Were they going to be covered? NO.
Frustrating. I don;‘t get the chance to do any driving as fancy as four-​wheeling. Just plain city and highway driving.
Later we found out engine mounts should have come with a lifetime warranty. They should have covered them. But they didn’t.
Maybe I was sucked in by the «Double-​A-​M-​C-​O» commercials I grew up with as a kid. All I know is that I wouldn’t go back. They might be good, but in our experience, it was disappointing at best.
