Papa John’s Pizza

Typical pizza– what you would expect from a chain restaurant. Despite other reviewers’ complaints, our orders have always been on time, hot, with a decent amount of toppings. They do tend to forget extras (e.g. peperoncini, banana pepers), so we’ve learned to check in the pizza box before leaving the store.

I ordered 2 large pizzas, waited 3 hours, and finally gave up. When i called to ask about my order I was put on hold multiple times or received a ‘busy’ tone. Terrible service.
Update: 2 days later, after calling 3 – 4 times, I finally got my pizzas. However the woman I spoke to (Debbie) was extremely rude to me over the phone and I was still missing at least $ 2.50 worth of my order. I don’t even want a refund at this point. I won’t order from Papa Johns again.

If you’re looking for the most unappealing pizza on the planet you have come to the right place. Delivery was fast but that was absolutely the only redeeming factor here. The pizza tasted like a sock and was about 99.8% crust. I wouldn’t feed it to my gerbil.

It had been so long since I tried papa johns. I found a deal on their site and applied the code when ordered. Just to make sure, I called to double check the wait time and to ask about the deal. Guy confirms deal and says delivery time is 20 min. Driver arrives within time, I tip and sign the slip. Slip doesn’t reflect the deal, but the driver was already gone. I called the restaurant and asked about the $ 7 difference on the card and my online order, employee says I have to email their corporate managers??? He follows up with «I don’t know what to tell you» and I hear laughing in the background. Pizza wasn’t too warm, there wasn’t enough sauce or cheese at all. Never again will I order from there again. Learned my lesson.

Tonight’s dinner was the greatest disappointments of my week.
I have loved Papa Johns for so long. I didn’t think it could be true when I saw all of the bad reviews on Google Plus. How could a franchise that was so good everywhere else be so bad here?
The pizza was extremely light on toppings –little fragments of vegetables here and there. It was cold when I took my first bite. About half way through I realized that it didn’t have any pepperoni on it.
