I love Maria’s Italian restaurant! The meals are great, and it’s not expensive like other Italian restaurant such as Olive Garden or anything like that. I love how close to home is even though it is an Italian restaurant. The owner is constantly walking around his restaurant and you can carry really cares. I think the food is great & in my Price range!

Tonight was my second time going to Maria’s, but the first time I’ve gone for dinner. I had lasagna and my wife had baked ziti. I wasn’t terribly disappointed in the food, but I wasn’t impressed either. I really like meat sauce in my baked pasta dishes and both of our dishes just seemed to lack meat. If I were going out for the same meal again in the same price range, I’d head to Sal’s a couple of blocks away. The atmosphere was nice. It was good for conversation. The service was good. Our waitress was quick with refills and tending the table. The bread was above average. They also provide a dish with herbs and spices and a bottle of olive oil to mix up for dipping the bread — which was excellent. I’ll probably give them another try at lunch one day to check out their subs.

The food is hit or miss. I give it three stars because the service has always been great for us, the restaurant is decently decorated, and I love the shrimp florentine. The alfredo sauce is disappointing, not creamy enough and tasteless. The salad is skimpy and the dressings are tasteless and watery, I have tasted them all. The homemade bread is good if served hot and fresh but we have received it cold and hard. I will continue to visit for the shrimp florentine. Go on Tuesdays and get it for 9.95 with drink included.

It’s was okay. That’s the most accurate word for the meal. I had the spinach manicotti and my husband had the lasagna. Both were average, not bad by any means, but it didn’t leave me with a desire to come back soon. The owner/manager was on top of things and helped her staff out during a busy time for them. Kudos to her.

Too much salt, wine not cooked out of sauces. Items ordered drowned in buttery flavored liquid. cream sauce separated with pasta. Pasta over cooked. Too many menu items distract from a few good options. melted cheese and olive oil do not make something Italian .the side salad is an after thought containing brown lettuce and watery dressing. this restaurant should apologize to Italy. Parking was ample.

It’s just okay. There is nothing special about the food. I haven’t had anything bad, but not great either. It is quiet and out of the way. The staff is friendly enough. The room is nice enough. I have one lunch buddy who LOVES it and one who doesn’t want to go back again. I go there with the first one, but not anyone else.
