We went for my wife’s birthday, 2 days before Valentine’s day. We had reserved a table overlooking the terrace and away from traffic. Even though this put us by the emergency exit, the décor and the ambience was fantastic. It was busy, but not unbareablely so in our little tucked away corner. We arrived about 15 minutes early expecting to have a chance to really take in the restaurant, but they had our table set up and ready already, with lit candle included. It was great. To start, the waitress was friendly, knowledgeable and on point. She helped my non-alcohol drinking girl have her first good glass of wine(she made it two by the end). She helped us pair wines and even let us taste several. I will address her more later. The calamari was amazing. Light, airy, not rubbery at all, with a light drizzle of hollandaise sauce and a dipping sauce that complimented it beautifully. We ordered two different salads(tossed and antipasto). Both were fresh, balanced and delicious. The antipasto comes with a vinaigrette traditionally, and I kept it that way. The tossed had a choice of 6 in house made. SIX made in house. My wife tried the«Hot Bacon», the only non-traditional option. You will NOT regret this. Our first round of garlic knots were a tad undercooked, but too delicious not to finish. The second round was perfect. Dinner was veal parm for me, lasagna with two meatballs added on for her. I believe timing the two was an issue because my veal was near burnt and very dry. Without even questioning me more than«are you okay?», my waitress went and had them refire the whole thing. It was PHENOMENAL. I hate sending food back… but they did me right that second time. The waitress handled the problem with grace, no attitude, was appropriately apologetic. She kept our wine and water flowing. My wife was enjoying her lasagna so much she could not stop raving about it. She let me try part of one meatball. Oh my god… the meatballs. I will come back for the meatballs… they are just amazing. Light, fluffy, well seasoned. Beautiful. I could eat those everyday. With the reasonable prices here… I would WANT to budget it in every month. They do not charge tax on alcohol, and with reasonable prices and three glasses of wine, our bill was just over $ 60. Even with a tax of $ 2.77, our waitress got a $ 20 tip. From waitstaff to ambience to décor and the food(oh the food… yummm), this place defied the expectations of the grandson of an Italian restauranteur and a Sicilian woman in love with fine cuisine. We WILL be returning. My only complaint is that the women get changing tables, but men to not. But that is a standard problem across the board so no points deducted in my eyes. My wife is a disabled vet, so if we had brought the little one, I would have been forced to use one of the(thankfully single and lockable) ladies rooms. Actually, points added for the single use rooms for ladies.

This was my second visit to Da Vinci’s. The wait staff has been great both times. I ordered the catfish from the specials menu. I have eaten a lot of fried catfish over the years, and this order of fish was really under cooked. The calamari was very good. Get there around 4pm, before the crowd hits. You won’t regret it.

Everthing was great! From the salad to the main course. Highly recommended. Prices are also resonable. Olive garden does not compare.

This was a great place for dinner. We started with the bruschetta and it was off to a great start! The garlic knots were great along with the salad that accompanied the meal. We ordered the chicken fettuccini and the chicken Parmesan and they were both delicious. Additionally, the waitress was very friendly and timely with refills and anything else we needed. Overall great experience! Hands down one of the best Italian experience I have had and reasonable prices!

I ate last here last night with my husband. We just moved to the area and love exploring new restaurants. The ambience of the resturaunt at dinner was just beautiful and so cozy. The front entrance of the establishment has great curb appeal– nice landscape and bright, white lights wrapped around the trees. The service was excellent and we made conversation with another server at an adjacent table. She was eager to tell us about the menu when she heard it was our first time and checked on us after we got our food to make sure we were enjoying everything; she wasnt even our server! Great teamwork and service excellence from the staff. I give it 3 stars because we werent wowed by the food. We ordered the antipasto platter to start– so much meat and cheese– I was in heaven. Honestly, we probably should have stopped there. We ordered deep dish pizza– the crust consistency and texture was spot on but I felt like the flavor of the crust was just overtaken by butter. We were told that everything is homemade from the breads, pizza crust to the sauces but the pizza was topped with canned mushrooms. What in the world?! Why?!! That seriously ruined the pizza for us and Im pretty certain the rest of the toppings were from a can as well. We also ordered the cheese ravioli– just average/mediocre in flavor.

My family and I were from out of town and we were craving real food. Being from the Northeast we thought Italian would be the way to go. The food was good for where we were. Being close to NY, we are use to more authentic Italian food. Not saying their’s is not, it’s just different. I do have to say, they do make a mean meatball and awesome calamari. Our waiter was wonderful. Polite and attentive to us.

I ordered the Alfredo with blackened chicken(as per server’s recommendation). It was phenomenal and the ability to order the lunch portion any time was perfect. My husband ordered the lasagna. The red sauce was so flavorful. Our new favorite Italian spot in alamance!

A lovely little place in Burlington. The garden outside is wonderfully landscaped, and the outside patio is very nice. Inside the décor is warm, cozy and welcoming. We were warmly greeted and well served by the staff. There are lots of items on the menu. I had Pasta and would rate it as very average. Not bad, but I expected more based on the beautiful surroundings. Prices are very low so you wont break the bank here.

Me and my wife went on a Friday night-there was a 30 min wait @ 700, which I didn’t think was to bad, especially since they were packed. I would recommend asking about the special, the one they had this night was called a carpetbagger(fillet minion w/fried oysters, mashed potatoes, asparagus, w/a hollinsdays sauce. Excellent. Quite impressed.

Da Vinci’s Table has been serving Italian food and some American specialties — such as burgers — in Burlington, North Carolina since 2010. It features a nice outdoor dining area as well as an inside dining room that has the classic feel of an older Italian restaurant. Most nice Italian restaurants will provide their patrons with bread and oil to begin their meal, but da Vinci’s Table takes it to another level by serving garlic knots at the beginning of meals at no additional charge. I enjoyed the garlic knots, and they were certainly a nice treat beyond the standard bread and oil. Da Vinci’s Table has some specialty pizzas, and you can also create your own on their thin or deep dish crust. I ordered the Leonardo’s Sicilian Special which is described as «da Vinci’s own special recipe deep dish with lots of sausage and pepperoni, smothered with extra cheese.» As a fatty from the Midwest, I would argue that this pizza is more of a pan pizza as opposed to a true deep dish, but I still liked the light pan crust that had an airy crunch on the edges. The sausage and pepperoni were good, and the pepperoni specifically had a nice spice to it. I wouldn’t describe the pizza as having been smothered with extra cheese, but, again, that may be because of my fatty Midwest roots. All things considered, da Vinci’s Table is really good option for Italian in Burlington, and I consider it to be a pretty good option for pizza.

Excellent food, reasonably priced with a nice atmosphere. The entry was a little crowded and confusing but cleared quickly. Only disappointment was they were«out of» the garlic knots that had been so highly praised in other posts. This was at 8pm on a Saturday so that is a little hard to understand. Will definitely try it again as we are through here quite often.

I was in town for a quick visit with friends, i read some of the reviews on Unilocal about this place. I have to say it was spot on. We had a large group and everyone had something different. All the food was fantastic. I would recomend Da Vinci’s Table to anyone in the area or passing by.

Took a party of six here for dinner. Good to make a reservation. Not an overly large area and it can get crowded. Entry/waiting area is very cramped. Great outside patio when the weather is nice The use of the term«Fine Italian American Dining» might be a slight exaggeration, but the food was overall enjoyed by the party. Service staff was helpful with recommendations, friendly and relatively prompt. Wine list is not overly large, but you should be able to find something to suit your taste. Started with the Rustic Brushetta(Crusty baguettes brushed with olive oil and garlic, topped with diced fresh Mozzarella, tomatoes and chiffonades of basil and drizzled with pesto oil) — Not bad, but the bread was so soaked with the oil that there was no crunch — texture issue. The restaurant regularly runs specials, Four of the party got the pasta with beef tips special which came with a white wine/parmesan sauce drizzled with a balsamic reduction. They all thought it was very good. Another guest had the salmon which was good. I had the pesto tortellini and added shrimp. it was okay, but didn’t think it was outstanding. The shrimp were cooked well, but somewhat expensive to add three(3) small to medium shrimp($ 6.00 dollars)

All Staff were Incredibly Polite and Organized… Very Efficient! Great Example of TEAMwork! It was Very Busy the Friday Night we went and did not mind waiting 30+ minutes! This place is Very Popular! The Place is Nice Looking and seats to Capacity very well without feeling crowded! Wisely the greeting area is tiny! they have maximized the seating capacity… Sidewalk and Garden Dining! We would have gladly taken a table on the Sidewalk or Garden to check this place out and were very please to get a Large Table in the Bar! The Only Reason we will probably NOT return was the Food! Flavors were just about Average for Italian and I am only comparing the food here to «Italian»… Pasta with Meat Sauce was good as in almost three Unilocal stars, compared to most it is average or a little better, meaning I would Never order that again! Pizza was ok, not A-OK, just ok So I’m giving them a little less than three stars for all the Food and rounding it up to three stars because the Service was so Excellent!

This had been a pretty good week for an old foodie like me — decent pulled pork BBQ from an unlikely place in Greensboro; great little cafeteria in K’ville; B Christopher’s coming to town; absolute gem of a local, fresh ingredient restaurant in High Point — life is good. And today, at lunch, it got even better. This is a very attractive, softly lit place with excellent service, and outstanding food — at least what we had at lunch was. The restaurant is small with the tables a little to close together to provide a feeling of intiimacy, but not overly loud or smothering. The food here is basically upscale red sauce italian, with some contemporary American dishes thrown in. We started with the Antipasto Platter($ 8.95), a real favorite app of ours. Nice assortment of Genoa salami, Sopressata, Mortedella, several cheeses, and great black olives. This came with a huge amount of crust bread and infued olive oil. This is a very, very nice starter. I chose the Lunch Pizza(6″ to 8″) with choice of 2 toppings for $ 4.95 — add a nice, large house salad for $ 2. This weekday lunch only. This is a thin crust pizza, and one of the very best I’ve had in this area, and well beyond. I loved everything about the crust, the cheesy was nice and stringy, and the pepperoni was loaded with flavor. I love this pizza. My wife got the Spaghetti with meat sauce(lunch portion with a house salad, $ 6.95). The meat sauce is a little thin, somewhat lite on the meat, but loaded with flavor — vermicelli is the pasta here. We loved the flavor, and would order this again, but would add house-made meatballs($ 2.95) to «beef» it up a little. It also came with a nice, large slice of garlic bread — not at all soggy. They brought a couple of Garlic Knots at the beginning at no charge, and these were simply outstanding — crunchy, with a great, mild garlic taste. This was a super meal, and at a real value price, especially for the quality of the food. Needless to say, we’ll be back — and real soon.
