So far my wife and I are very happy living at Stone Ridge. We have been living here for about 7 months. The property is ½ mile from I95 and is tucked away behind an Executive park and has its own private drive. The only traffic in the area are residents and the mail man. It takes us 15 – 20 minutes on average to drive to Alewife if we ever want to go in to the city. Plenty of outside parking and limited underground garage and private garage spaces. We both have private garages which provide PLENTY of storage space in addition to our cars. Separate club house with a pool, gym, theater, and party room. Gym is small and has the typical cardio equipment, free weights and a couple machines. Nothing special. We only used the pool a few times as we moved in later in the year but it was never crowded and always quiet. Amazing and friendly staff in the office. They know everyone by name and are a pleasure to chat with. Noise level is decent. Still thin floors/ceilings but the carpet seems to absorbs most of the sound. You can still hear walking around but it has never been an issue. We had to call the office once about excessive party noise and we never have had a problem since. My only negatives are few. The apartment is fitted with older appliances and the counter tops are a weird colored laminate that makes it difficult to detect messes. No light fixtures in the bedrooms and living room(at least in our apartment) so we had to buy some floor lamps. There are metal studs in the walls, so hanging large wall mount TVs are going to be difficult, but not impossible.(I found out the hard way) Carpet throughout the apartment excluding bathrooms and kitchens. I’m just not a fan huge fan of carpet but it helps with the noise!.. Fair trade off if you ask me. Trash has to be taken out to dumpsters out side the buildings and for some the dumpsters are a decent distance away which makes taking out garage a task. As you can see, these are all minor annoyances and in no way should make living here a problem. I have no major complaints about this place. PLENTY of things to do around here. Market Basket, Wegmans, Roche Bros, Capital Grill, Masa, Seasons 52, Burlington Mall, Papa Razzi, all nearby. Anything you need is less than a 10 minute drive away. Traffic flows freely and may add a couple minutes to your errand run. Highly recommended apartment community. Price is a tad high but we still pay less for our 1200sqft 2 bed 2 bath AND2 private garages than we did for our previous 800 sqft 1 bedroom apartment and underground parking in cambridge right by Alewife.

In search of new living space, I came across this apartment community. I had made an appointment for a later time, but I got there much earlier then my appointment and the leasing agent was very accommodating. To my great surprise it was an adult not a young girl out of high school. Unlike other complexes that I had looked at, she didn’t tell me she has to ask her manager for the answers. This is a well kept community, the grounds were beautiful. It has easy access to the freeway. There is a nice mall near it. It has a gym and a party room. The couple of units that was shown to me were very nice, the space had a nice charm to it. So far all was good. On the other hand one of the two issues I had here was that there is no elevator and access from the parking garage to inside of the building. I want to know, what the developers were thinking when they designed this? Didn’t they think this is the east coast and it snows? Just the thought of carrying my groceries from the parking to the grounds with snow puts a chill on my back.

Gosh, I just have to write another review to compliment the staff at Heritage. We have gone through a few property managers and they are all beyond amazing — friendly, warm and goes out of their way to help you. I have never made a request(however unusual) that received a ‘no, we cannot do that’. They were even nice enough to place my packages outside my apartment when I can’t get to the office on time to pick then up. The maintenance staff is yet another awesome bunch. They are so fast and responsive, not to mention incredibly capable. Embarrassingly I have locked myself out, thought I forgot to turn off my stove when I’m at work, and each time the maintenance staff were able to go out of their way to help me with requests that’s solely due to my own fault. I cannot praise them enough and for them, I’m okay with stepping into dog poop ones or twice.

I have lived in my apartment for 3 years — I would recommend the complex. The Good — Responsive management, facilities upkeep, quiet(I have pets in apartments around me — but rarely hear them) The Bad — Kind of expensive, Noisy appliances and the main trash receptacle isn’t compacted as often as it should be on weekends
