Ken & Kimmy have helped revitalize downtown Burlington with this business. Great beer selection, entertainment, and specials throughout the week. Check it out. Mustang USMC Retired

So as Unilocalers we make the best of every situation(aka our late train). We stumbled across this place on accident while on our way to the grocery store for some more wine. Nothing extremely amazing but a very friendly atmosphere with extremely cheap drinks. Honestly who can say no?

Problem: Amtrak train late. Solution: Beer at Public House, two blocks from station. Yes, there was a Unilocal invasion last Saturday. At least twelve wine soaked Unilocalers were looking to kill some time. We were promptly greeted by a local«imbiber» who may or may not have thought he was the doorman/bouncer. Our bartender, maybe a little shocked at first, handled everything in stride, like a pro. Public House is definitely a local watering hole. Let’s call it a «pub» as it was too clean to be considered a «hole in the wall». Okay, so beer and shots were served in plastic, but at those prices, who freaking cares. $ 3 for a cup of 21st Amendment Fireside Chat, which would otherwise be served in a snifter for $ 6 — that’s a deal! When’s the last time you bought a round of drinks for under $ 20? Pretty decent craft beer selection. Brand new jukeboxe for Meatloaf sing a longs. Moderate rowdiness and joviality are not frowned upon here. Can’t say for sure if I’ll ever pass through this part of Burlington again, but if I did, this is a great stop to «get your drink on».

This is a hidden gem of Alamance County and the greater Greensboro area. There’s a comfortable bar with table seating available and always a friendly atmosphere. A couple TVs are positioned at the bar along with other entertainment, if the variety of local and touring musical acts that come through doesn’t do it for you. There’s always a wide variety of craft beers on tap and in the cooler. Definitely a spot that’s worth your time as the start, or main attraction, of your night out. Or just a nice place downtown to catch up with some familiar faces and sip on a soda.

If you are in to craft beer you need to check this spot out. I wish they would change the lighting in there though. Maybe its just me but I don’t like to drink in the bright lights. They offer music. some of which makes it really loud in there but if you are into live music you wont have a problem with it. Friendly staff and regulars.

My wife and I come here regularly. There is a nice«home town» bar atmosphere and a great beer selection. Live music many nights including open jam on Tuesday’s. Pub trivia on Sunday’s. Super friendly staff and you always feel welcome. It’s like Burlington’s Cheers.
