Me and my boyfriend’s favorite spot… Great price and great food, love the raw bar and the fact that you can customize your own plates

Food was o.k. I have had Mongolian BBQ at other restaurants and it was better. Service was good which is why I gave out 4 stars instead of 3.

Staff was nice, had a great selection, however I thought the food was a little bland and I was upset that I had over half a plate of food leftover and they charge another $ 4.95/lb for a takeout box if you dine in.

My gf and I visited this restaurant about a month ago and loved it! Very good deal, especially if you go at lunch. They have a lot of meat and sauce flavors to choose from. The service was great, and the food came out perfect. They were closed for about a week in the middle of November due to some tax issues, but the owner was able to make a deal with the IRS and they have since reopened. we plan on going back tomorrow so I will update my review then.

I have seen this restaurant as being reported closed-however I stopped in yesterday and it was certainly open. I was extremely impressed with the options available. If you enjoy good stir-fry i don’t think you can beat crazy fire. I got the buffet, and left pleasantly stuffed. I enjoyed trying different combinations, and the chef takes what you select and cooks it up for you. Everything was delicious!

I guess this is a moot point as the restaurant closed a few days after our first visit due to tax issues. As Mongolian grills go, it was OK and quicker than others I have been to. Offerengs were standard, food good.

If you are really hungry and have an appetite for meat this might be the place to go. The meat and veggy quality is just average with minimum spices to add to it. The place is very basic and a little on the expensive side for its caliber.

Generally pretty good. Although I’m still a little sketchy about the open raw meat buffet. The food was pretty good and service equally good. I was a little disappointed in the lack of authentic Mongolian feel, it felt a little like a hibachi buffet more than anything. Would recommend for a quick bite or an informal eat in. Not for taking the girlfriend on a date.

I love to eat here. You always get what you want because you choose which veggies, which meats, and which sauces go into your dinner. The guy on the grill cooks it for you and then he will add fried or white rice if you like. The food is always cooked well and even on the busiest evenings the line moves at decent speed. You can also choose to have white sauce and tortillas with your meal. There are a few negatives. The wait staff isn’t always very friendly, helpful, or quick but they are more like buffet attendants than actual wait staff I suppose. The restaurant is a bit grungy, especially the bathrooms, and the booths are quite small — we had 4 normal sized adults in ours and it was snug. Also, no alcohol which sometimes means we will eat somewhere else if we’re craving a brew. It’s a yummy meal at a great price for the most part though.

Just say no. Rude staff. With our very small table for four wobbling and an empty restaurant, we were moving to an adjacent table when we were told we could not move by the teenybopper waitress. She said it was reserved. I have no problem asking for a manager who also said it was reserved but did move us to another table. Funny, we were there well over an hour and the«Reserved» table was never filled. On top of that… there was a poor selection of substandard food and sauces. The Griddle was FILTHY! My friend kept saying, «What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.» Had I seen the 90.5 health grade and had I not been with friends who were insistent on eating there, I am sure I would not have stayed.

Crazy Fire was a staple in my life. I went here at least once a week. I always got take out, since I never eat enough at a buffet or all-you-can eat place to justify the price. You pay by the pound, which is typically between $ 7-$ 10 for a full to-go container at dinner time. Lunch is cheaper, but they don’t serve shrimp, scallops, or other seafood. The bowls are small, but you can grab as many as you like. Try to beat the rushes at lunch and dinner time, so you don’t have to wait too long. The guys at the grill work hard, and you can always get a scoop or two of fried rice with your food. Also, the white sauce is so good. I can’t really describe it, but you get two cups with each order, and if you’re lucky your friends will give you theirs.

You really can’t go wrong with the food here. Since you can choose your own ingredients, everyone can have what they like — even if you have picky eaters or special dietary needs. The buffet has a huge variety of things to choose from and is a nice change from the usual burger and fries or pizza joints in the same area and price range that people frequent for lunch. Depending on your choices, it’s healthier too. Great place for groups where there is a variety of tastes and needs, and the prices make it good for both lunch or dinner — even if you’re on a budget. It’s also entertaining to watch your food being cooked on the giant, circular grill — especially if you bring someone who’s new to places like this or little kids.(Make them ring the gong too, just for kicks.) On the down side, sometimes the service can be a little poor, otherwise it’s just pretty average. The beverage selection is a pretty limited compared to the food, and as other people have mentioned, the place is beginning to show it’s age. All in all, Crazy Fire is a good place to fill up on tasty food on a budget or with a group, but it’s not probably not going to impress a first date in it’s current condition. It’s certainly still several steps up from the McDonald’s that used to occupy the same location though!

Crazy Fire is delicious! I was hesitant about eating there for a whole because I didn’t know what Mongolian food was. At Crazy Fire, it’s basically customized stir fry. Always a good experience here.

The food was top notch and the chef was extremely talented. I was very impressed with how he handled numerous orders and even had then cooked in a timely fashion. I was not however impressed with the servers. I frequently had to inquire for a refill on my water while we viewed one waitress sitting in the corner on her phone. They also refused to address some loud obnoxious customers until I asked to speak to the manager. While I would recommend this place to others be sure you aren’t in a poor mood prior. Also go between 1 and 2pm to avoid such disservice.

I love this place! I come here once in awhile since it’s close to work. You wait to be seated, put your drink order in, and go on the food line. You can pick the meat and veggies you want as well as the sauces. I usually do steak for my meat and add mushrooms, onions, zucchini, 1 egg, and a little bit of noodles. For my sauce I do a mixture of soy sauce and chili garlic. I also add garlic powder and chili flakes on mine since I like it to have a little bit of heat in there. Once your done you bring it to the man that makes it all happen. After about 5 mins your food is cooked and he asks you if you want rice with it and I always get the brown/fried rice they have. I am half Asian so I know this seems weird but they give tortillas with their meals and my gosh it works well with it. I put some of my food in the tortilla with a little bit of white sauce and it’s amazingly delicious! Now don’t judge without trying it because I sure did and wow was I wrong! Overall give this place a try and you won’t be disappointed! Keep an open mind about the tortillas…

If you don’t like what you get, you have only yourself to blame! This is on my regular rotation of lunch places. Reasonably priced for what you get, which is too much food. It is hard to count calories with this many choices. One bowl doesn’t look like much, but it IS! Be warned: the crazyfire hot sauce is hotter than it used to be. The place is about 8 years old, and it shows. It needs a make over soon. My big problem with this place is that over the last 8 years the customers have forgotten how to put their food on the left hand side of the counter and the move to the right where you pick it up under the gong. MOVERIGHTPEOPLE. DON’T MAKEMEGETGENGHISKHANON Y’ALL!

I love going to Crazy Fire, but this location is disgusting. I almost walked right back out because it didn’t look sanitary. I’m not put off by the fact that there’s raw food sitting out in a buffet, I know that’s what the restaurant is. What grossed me out was the flies buzzing around, the sticky booths and floor, and food all mixed together in the buffet. Our server was nice, but the guy who cashed us out was pretty rude. I’ll definitely keep going to Crazy Fire, just definitely not this one again.

I went here for dinner with a friend and he loved it. I liked the food as well :) Not too bad — but I won’t say I loved it! The grillers seemed to be pretty friendly. Good place to get stuffed

This would be a four star place if it were cleaner, which I tend to be a little more harsh when eating at a buffet style place. I guess the paranoia sets in about who’s sneezed on the food or something. Anyways, the food was excellent, plentiful(all-you-can-eat), and well cooked. I liked the selection of veggies and various meats, and the sauces are kind of fun to experiment with. I recommend it when you’re in the area.

I have driven by Crazy Fire countless times, but, for no reason in particular, I’ve never had a desire to stop in. I decided to have lunch there today because of all of the great reviews from my fellow Unilocalers, and as always… They were right! Crazy Fire is absolutely fantastic! (quick note: don’t go between 3pm &4pm, I’m not sure why, but they are closed) I pulled into the parking lot @ 3 and, like I said, there was a sign on the door saying that they would be closed until 4. I’m not sure if this is a daily thing, or if it was just today… But I digress. When the hour was up we walked in and I must say, I really liked décor. Being that they had just«re-opened» we were naturally the only customers in there, so we were seated very quickly. When we were shown to a booth I was a little confused. I was expecting a big tepanyaki table etc. etc. and upon seeing my bewildered expression the waitress quickly explained the process. Little did I know, Crazy Fire is technically a Mongolian buffet. There is a «food bar» on the far side of the restaurant, and what you do is you get a bowl, fill it with vegetables, meat, and sauce. Then at the end of the bar you hand it to the chef, who then cooks it for you. They have more than enough choices to satisfy even the most picky of eaters! The meats include: chicken, beef, sausage, pork, dark meat chicken, and crab. The vegetables include: onions, green peppers, mushrooms, banana peppers, carrots, and a bunch of other items I just can’t remember. I tried the chicken, beef, pork, every vegetable and they were all DELICIOUS! The waitress brought us some cups of white sauce, and oh my goodness… That was just the icing on the cake, or the sauce on my rice :) After the first bite I fell in love with Crazy Fire. Thanks Unilocalers! :)
