Checkers Drive-In Restaurants

This place is an absolute joke. I pulled in the drive thru there were only 3 cars in front of me. One pulled in behind me. I was stuck in line for I kid you not 30 minutes. I couldn’t leave. When I got to the window finally I told her I didn’t want it and she just said ok bye. I will never ever ever ever give this place my money again. They need some serious personnel changes. I wish I could give it negative stars.

Someone stole a chunk out of my burger take a look. To the cook how do you not notice this and sell this product to a customer.

WTH is all i can say about this dump, unorganized waste of a store location. I ordered a small sweet tea, pulled up and the guy told me its the same price as a large if i wanted to upgrade, then just charged me $ 1.07 which is even less then the price of a small, then i gave him exactly 1.07 and it confused the hell out of him, he was «o sorry we get alot of change here» i was like what??? that makes no sense and im sure that sweet tea wasnt even rang up, shady place, and the tea sucked also. stay away from this place!!!

If I could give less stars I would. They told me to pullover to the side for my fries, and forgot about me. 10 minutes later I walked back inside and complained. The manager asked the young woman who denied it. By that time my food was cold.
Food is usually undercooked. After acouple of tries I’ve given up.

The worst place I have ever been too!!! It was ridiculous how the manager wanted to fight with me because they handed out the order wrong! They fucked me over! The cashier name was Naomi W. She should have just said sorry and made my food again and not fight with the guest!!! And she said she was going to check the cameras because they didn’t believe me I told her please check we have our receipt! Point blank period don’t come here because I guarantee that they will mess up your order! And when you tell them it’s wrong they will fight with you!!!

Beyond slow, and these people just don’t care about their job at all. Showed up on our way to the philly airport with ps good amount of time to spare for a bite to eat. When we walked in there was one family (4 people) that had already ordered, so we walked up to the window to place our order. Took us 10 minutes to get the cashier to take our order and another 15 minutes to get it, then the order was wrong. My other friend just ordered right after me and he had to wait at least 20 minutes, keep in mind this is for a hamburger. Food tasted awful, while we were eating the family that was ahead of us still hadn’t gotten their food, they got it right as we finished eating. Friend is still waiting for his food while we’ve already finished eating. Workers inside won’t come up to the window to talk to you if you have a question, found hair in one of our burgers, meat tasted old and stale.
By the time we left we were late catching our plane and now my baggage is lost somewhere between flights at the airport.
This establishment has ruined checkers for me (first time I’ve ever been to one). So I will likely never come back to a checkers.

First time visiting Checkers. Very very slow service… Drive thru speaker unintelligble –needs replaced. Staff rude. Act like doing you a favor to serve you… Its a shame because my wings and fries were really good. But on principle i will never go there again. Good luck if you are in a hurry!

Last time I went to checkers they were out of French fries. What kind of fast food place runs out of French fries. Every other time I have been there thee service is beyond slow even though their workers are genuinely friendly. Needless to say I haven’t been back since the fry incident.

I don’t know how this place hasn’t closed down yet… Dated outdoor seating… Overly loud drive through speakers… No bathroom…

Today we decided to treat ourselves to some «fast food». To our surprise it was anything but fast. Server lost the order after we waited for her to finish her personal conversation before she decided to ask for the order. OH! I forgot to mention that we made the HUGE mistake of placing our order inside instead of using the drive thru. The person before us complained his order was served cold and he received a «dirty look» from the person behind the counter.
Yes, I know it is a fast food place but for heavens sake have a bit of common sense and serve your customers within a reasonable time (not 20 minutes for fast food). Two gentlemen actually had to leave before their order was ready (already paid) because they said they had to catch a flight and couldn’t wait any longer.
The manager needs to have a refresher course in customer service!!!

Yes, I know, I know its a chain, its also fast food, I KNOW! My review based on when I did go – way back, course my brother ate, just got a shake, & that was I’m sure like 800 calories then. They are located right off Rte.541, across from Walmart, Acme & Toys R us Plaza. Pretty quick for most of the time, they have 2 drive thru lines, but when there is a line, can’t take it… gets a little messy. But I would get once in a blue moon, a shake, they had banana flavor, strawberry, chocolate, but i would always get banana –extra thick, too, but of course the cream was sooo sugary, glad I don’t go there anymore. My brother told me the burgers were good too. I’ll take his word, my regimen would be shot if I did– LOL.

The banana shake tastes remarkably like banana Now and Laters. Now and Laters don’t taste like candy, they taste like imitation taffy concocted by a sadistic German food scientist.
The other food – various burgers, chili cheese fries, etc. – tastes like self-​loathing and salt. Self-​loathing doesn’t taste like food, it tastes like how you feel after eating greasy fast food that’s the aesthetic equivalent of Joseph Merrick. (Salt tastes salty.) It is remarkable that Checkers is able to make food that tastes like the feeling you have after eating the food. Its like eating the plot of a Don DeLillo novel.
