Why wouldn’t Maple Ice Cream be a thing in Vermont? I got a Maple and Black Raspberry twist on a cone with chocolate sprinkles. It was amazing! It was sweet but not to sweet where it burns your throat after a while, you know what I mean? I’m going to be craving this when I’m back in New York. You can order Ice Cream at the window outside. The line was decent but fast moving. Good amount of seating outside with views of the lake. They also have water bowls out for dogs! Staff was friendly.

You’ve gotta«dress to impress» to even be considered service here. If you want to feel like you’re suddenly in a social class, come here. If you’re wealthy or appear to be, you’re totally welcome, otherwise, get the f-out. What the f– are you doing here?(don’t believe me? dress to impress one day, then the next, wear your scrubs. You’ll notice a drastic difference in service immediately.) Way to go Burlington Bay Market & Café. Keep up your excellent customer service…(note to sarcasm)

Clean and friendly with a nice view, but $ 9 for a basic burger with no fries is no Bueno

Stopped in on way back to hotel. Saw the ice cream stand so decide to stop. It’s ice cream, so it was good. Nothing to write home about. Hot fudge sundae was 70% fudge, 25% ice cream, 5% whip cream with a cherry. Small portions. Would hav preferred more ice cream, less fudge, bigger portions but it was still good. In all we got four items. 2 thumbs up(cones) &2 half thumbs up(sundaes). $ 20 for the 4 items. Very nice people behind counter, good service, very friendly. TINYPARKINGLOT… if u go, walk if you can.

Crabcake sandwich was not worth the money. Very thin patty with no flavor or texture, overgrilled. Lobster bisque is decent but is too thick. Creemes are good.

My boyfriend and I were visiting for a weekend trip and we were so glad to have lunch here. It’s quick, easy, cute and with friendly service, and the food was delicious and made with care. I had the crab cake sandwich and we shared the seafood chowder. It all made us feel so happy to be in Vermont.

Blackberry and Maple swirl is where it’s at! We call it soft serve on the West Coast but I love the name CreeMee! I love how it is affordable and everyone brings their children here.

First of all, fabulous view of Lake Champlain! There is outdoor seating, for warmer months. I seriously enjoyed their delicious turkey burger and the shoe string fries just hit the spot. It’s a fun little store with some wine, beer, liquor, and local Vermont foods. I wasn’t there in the warmer months, so I can’t say anything about the creamees, I was sad not to get to try one. This place would certainly be one I’d stop at again the next time I’m in Burlington!

For such a strange town in a miserably cold part of the country. the food here is outstanding for what it is. Best Philly cheesteak I’ve ever had. The garlic mayo is top notch. Better then the ones I’ve had in philly. It’s so good I don’t think I’ve ever tried anything else here and to get five stars from me. for a sandwich. well that’s where I’ll keep my mouth shut. Been 5 years since I’ve been up there. don’t miss the people or the night life. but i do miss these sandwiches.

This review is solely for the creemee window. BOYOHBOY those creemees were delicious. It was so good, my husband and I shared one, then he went back and got another. Out of the maple, black raspberry, and chocolate flavors we tried, the maple was definitely the favorite. On a Friday night, there was a steady line of patrons for the window. We even ventured out to Morse Farm Maple Sugarworks to try the creemee out there and we preferred this one in town because the MFMS one was a bit too sweet and didn’t have enough«maple-y» flavor. As for parking, there is a small lot in the front of the restaurant and a much larger lot in the back, but you’ll have to trek up some stairs if you park in the back lot.

They have a separate window just for cremees and the location is perfect. You can sit outside on its large patio or walk around the waterfront while enjoying your cremee. They have 2 different twists including maple/black raspberry. It’s a little less expensive than the yellow cremee truck closer to the waterfront so come here to save a little. Burlington Bay is the perfect place to enjoy a hot summer day. The cremees are of course more overpriced than other places, but that’s what happens when you get close to the waterfront scenery. A word of caution: 1) The small cremees are not«small.» Most people cannot eat more than a small. 2) Don’t get a cone on a really hot day. It melts immediately and gets really messy. You can opt for a cup with a spoon instead. Maybe some of you are really good at eating cremees at lighting speeds in which case ignore this comment. In addition to cremees, this place does offer food. To me, it’s one of the«classic Burlington» places to hang out in the summertime. You go for ambiance instead of great food.

Hands down my favorite Turkey Burger in the entire state! Everything is so fresh(the bread is literally made downstairs). Fries are great too! Fast service with an amazing view!

Love this place! Amazing maple and black raspberry creemees… Soft serve if you’re from Boston like me. And you can enjoy it with a walk down to the water. A must stop if you’re in Burlington!

Big ol’ maple creamees for like $ 3? Sign us up! Our friend recommended this and I’m glad he did. We got our maple creamees and sat outside enjoying the lovely Burlington views and weather. And inside lots of little treats and a handy bathroom for a pitstop. A great little place. The ice cream window is a big hit with our family!

On the hit list for our visit to VT. We stop in for the maple creemee and man you can’t get that anywhere else. The prices are reasonable and they don’t skimp on the creemee. So if your looking for a treat during the warm days of summer this is the place to stop. Parking can be a challenge but circle behind for free parking.

This review is for their ice cream window. I had heard great things about vermonts maple soft serve ice cream. On my way to Montréal I stopped by market café to try some. It’s about 2 miles off of the freeway but totally worth it. I tried samples of their black raspberry and maple soft serve. Both were delicious but maple was to die for. I ended up buying a medium cup of both flavors but I should’ve only gotten maple. The price is reasonable for the amount of ice cream you get. My only regret is not buying large.

Crabcake, meh. Lobster bisque was decent but more like lobster chowder than bisque(not much sherry). Would give 4 stars for the mahi tacos, ok maybe 3.5. I think the maple creemee(sp?) bumps them back to 4 stars though. Also, they have a solid wine/cheese selection, if that’s what you’re there for.

Burlington Bay definitely covers a lot of bases. It is in a great location overlooking the lake with both indoor and outdoor seating. They have decent sandwiches but people mainly go for their creemees(aka Vermont’s word for soft serve ice cream). It’s almost like a rite of passage into summer. My personal favorite is the maple black raspberry twist. They also have a small grocery inside as well as a Vermont Liquor Outlet, though you can’t buy from the outlet and consume on the premises. This place is popular with the locals and is a great stop for out of town folks being so close to the hotels by the waterfront. Watch the sun set over the lake while enjoying a tasty Vermont creemee. It’s the perfect way to end a day in Burlington.

This is where I had my first maple creemee thanks to a local in the know by the name of Blanka :) What is a «creemee», you say?(I had never heard of it either) In the words of Burlington Bay, «The term ‘Creemee’ is just a Vermont born word for soft serve ice cream! It seems like the definition should be more complex, but it really isn’t!» Here’s the mini scoop on Burlington Bay based on my one hour visit: –Creemees sold at the window(«legit creemees» as I am told — the difference is in the milk fat content if I remember correctly?) –located on the waterfront with great views and a deck –they offer catering and a wide selection of Vermont beers and wines
