Good food. Looks fresh. But depends on the day. They charge on any small change. 1 $ for cream cheese $ 1.25 for avocado. Good if you in rush and look for something quick and healthy.

I wanted a decent salad and wanted to avoid the crowds at the food court. Sooo I dragged my H to Au Bön Pain where I had a southwest salad. There were none left in the cooler, so an employee kindly brought me one from the back. That said, at 7pm the storefront was kinda trashed and depleted of goods. No one seemed to be cleaning or stocking… I don’t think this is what Au Bön Pain wants from its employees? The salad was pretty good considering!(I’ve been to mannnny ABPs) I’d definitely come back for some baked goods, salads and some nommy made-for-you-on-the-spot sandwiches. Pass on the eating area and fight for a table at the food court!

We came here for lunch today as we had a coupon for a sandwich. As expected, the food items were pricey for their portion size but the taste was decent. We were tempted by how good the bakery items looked but did not choose them due to their prices.

This place is crap. Overpriced, cheap, flavorless crap.

The manager is rude and completely inappropriate with customers. They recently hired a girl with pink hair who is completely racist towards Indians(and god knows who else). I was standing behind an Indian customer who was cashed out quickly by her and as soon as the woman left, the girl said to me «wow she smells like curry. This is America, not a village. We have deodorant here.» I was completely taken aback by the comment cuz I really didn’t think it was 1) appropriate for her to say that at work, especially to another customer and 2) what makes her think I would just blow it off and agree with her? Wow, you guys really hired a good one… Also, I’ve seen flies land on all the bakery items. Not a good idea to just leave everything uncovered. Especially in the summer months coming up and knowing the mall is infested with mice.

Great alternative to Panera. I come here often. It’s actually the only place I go to if I’m in/near the food court in the mall. The place is very clean and often pretty crowded. it’s usually hard to find seating so I go sit in the food court. there is yummy soup to choose from and a great selection of drinks. As well as tons of sort-of fancy looking pastries and desserts. I usually order a sandwich off the menu and get a cookie or something. Service is usually efficient, unless the employees are in the backroom and no one notices you trying to order(what happened to me last time, stood there for a good five minutes). Overall, good food and good prices.

Bakery items tend to be a bit stale, like they’ve sat around too long. Pound cake was especially stale. Cashier frequently absent. Twice I’ve given up on a purchase and just left the items by the register and walked out since there was no cashier. Decent sandwiches. Seating crowded and not very clean; I never sit in their seating area.

I am a fan of the food at any Au Bön Pain. It’s a bit expensive, but usually pretty tasty. We had lunch here and got several different things. The place has sort of an awkward layout, and although it wasn’t super-busy, we felt we were always being jostled and bumped by other customers. Still, the food is good. I do love their ceasar salad dressing(on the salad, of course!) and the corn chowder was great too.

I eat out a lot for lunch and I love the selections of soups that they have here however if you are in a rush during the week skip it! I’m all for having the elderly work but to have a cashier who is no less than 1000 years old handling money and a computer is just a BAD idea! It takes no less than 3 minutes for her to enter what ever it is that you have selected even if that is just a bottle of water. You can get the same thing every day and some how she always makes it a different price. Give this poor old woman another job, like refilling the silverware, but for the love of god get her away from the computer!

Aaah… Au Bön Pain. It’s neither fast food, nor French food, but basic bakery items and sandwiches for hungry mall shoppers. Not the speediest place in the wold but the line does move… eventually. The overall configuration of this particular location is a bit tough to navigate and negotiate… it is just not a well laid-out eatery. Seating area can hond a good number of people; however in the several times I’ve been here I’ve always found it kind of dirty. The manager should have someone assigned to wash down and pick up around the tables and chairs on a more regular basis. I’m not sure if this is a holiday special or regular policy but after 8 p.m. the baked goods are half price. Bottom line… I’ll come here if I’m doing some late shopping but I’ll find somewhere else to sit.

SERVICE = Hmm. I got what I wanted and the only service I got from the employees is check out. Not bad. Nothing to complain or rave about. FOOD = I like the food because I always get the clam chowder. i’ve had awesome clam chowder from places down-town; but I like the price here and that I can get it in a bread bowl. PAYMENT/PRICING = Decent pricing. It definitely doesn’t break the bank. PARKING = Wonderful. Mall parking lot. *EXPERIENCE* = Okay, I’m from California and I visit the area because my fiancé is from here. Compared to how crowded and hectic the malls can get over here in my area, I liked the m all and I liked that Au Bön Pain is an option for a place to eat. I just wish there was more seating inside because it can get crammed.

This is by far the fastest most convenient Au Bön Pain in the area. As a former mall employee I have come to know where to get food that’s fast and yummy here. This Au Bön Pain has so much to offer, the set up can be intimidating at first but once you get used to it it’s so convenient. All the soups and appetizer/snacky things are right as you come in and as you make your way through you come upon the rest of your food choices including a great sandwich counter which serves delicious freshly made sandwiches and wraps for any taste. They have a small seating area but right outside of it is a larger more comfortable area with a couch and tables to relax and enjoy. The pricing is typical mall Au Bön Pain and the staff is always awesome. I am definitely a fan!

Not to be mean or anything, but here’s my two cents worth on this particular location: I used to work at the Burlington mall, so sometimes when I felt like grabbing a «healthy meal», I would come here. But there was an Indian kid working behind the sandwich area at the time, and he was a complete imbecile! I would ask him for a sandwich, and he’d ask me what’s in the sandwich. YOUWORKHERE! You should know that! Gyaaadddddd… and as if that wasn’t enough, he’d constantly mess up the sandwich somehow– either by cutting it improperly or forgetting to put an essential ingredient of the sandwich. If you’re reading this kid, then please take this as constructive criticism for the future, and stop being an idiot!
