Great service, great food and plenty of parking. Perfect for families to have breakfast or lunch. My children love their chocolate chip pancakes or eggs bendicts. We love their Reuben sandwich or omelette.

Very tasty mushroom caps. Fruit was not very fresh, the fruits at the bottom went stale, probably pre packed for quite some time

Food was good and service was polite and prompt. No problem getting a seat for lunch. The reason for the 3⁄5 stars is that my potatoes had a few pieces of bacon in it, apparently falling in by accident. If you’ve got any dietary restrictions, you may want to be extra careful when eating/ordering here. If you don’t have any such restrictions(religious/cultural/health restrictions) then you’re probably going to enjoy just about anything on the menu. Other than the above, I found the place to be clean and the service very responsive. Prices are reasonable too for a brunch place. You’re probably looking at about $ 15 per person when all is said and done, but the portions are very generous.

One of our favorite places to go for breakfast and brunch. Pancakes are our favorite here.

On Saturdays, Millbrae Pancake House is always packed so I opted out to come here instead to get my brunch on. There was no wait on a Saturday morning and the host was very nice too! The menu is your typical brunch place with eggs, scrambles, omelettes, french toast and salad choices. It was nothing too special but I highly recommend everyone to try the macadamia nut pancake! I got the short stack and it was 2 full pancake enough to be shared by two people. In addition, I got the breakfast scramble which came with a fruit cup and country potatoes. The scramble also came with the hollandaise sauce drizzled on top. It was quite flavorful! I gave it a 3 star because the dining floor was sticky and the waitress we got didn’t even take the order until 15 minutes in. She was too busy chatting with her friends who came to visit instead of being tentative to her customers.

Very noisy, which means the servers will likely get your order wrong, and they’re busy enough that they don’t give a fig about making it right. You better love super strong coffee too. Tasted old to me. Eggs over medium were closer to over easy. The Belgian waffle had no flavor. Bacon was okay. Warmed syrup was a nice touch. No wifi

It was a pleasant breakfast experience with coworkers. Just low key, without much wow or fanfare. This is a place you come to over and over until you’re a regular and they know your order by heart. Daily specials and decent service make it come across as a dependable place to have a bite to eat. For the record, I stopped in for a biscuit and bacon, but ended up getting the spicy chicken burrito. Not particularly adventurous(nor as spicy as I anticipated) though my coworkers got steak with eggs and a salmon scramble respectively that tasted pretty good. Dependable. Nothing wrong with knowing you can go some place and get a decent breakfast.

This is not an exciting, trendy, new-American brunch style restaurant. This is a classic breakfast and brunch place that gets it done by executing timeless classics consistently well. My office is in the same plaza as this restaurant and I come here regularly for lunch/brunch on weekdays. My go-to order is some form of eggs benedict. I usually go for the florentine(spinach and tomato), and have done the crab cake and some others once or twice(would not really recommend, stick to the classics). The reason that I keep coming back is that for all of the 10 or so times that I’ve come here, they have not messed up a single one of my poached eggs. I want my eggs with the whites white and the yolk runny, and they have consistently delivered more than any of my favorite, trendier brunch places. The importance of this cannot be overstated. I’ve also tried the breakfast burrito a few times, and have been as pleased as can be expected from a standard breakfast burrito. My co-workers like the patty melt special(which I think finally got a spot on the menu recently!) and again it delivers what you would want in a patty melt. Don’t come here expecting anything fancy, but know that they will execute what they do have on the menu very well. An understated feature of this restaurant is the check system. They give you a check itemized by seat at the table, and then you can go up to the register and each person can pay for their seat. This makes splitting the tab very easy, and they don’t mind when you do this! Again, they do the little things well here.

I have always told my friends that I’m not the biggest«bay watch» fan… Went there once and I just wasn’t all that impressed with the place or the food so I never really considered going again. Until today… Big mistake, I should’ve just gone to another spot where I know the food is actually good. But my friend who lives in millbrae really close by kept insisting we go there. It is located in the same small plaza as my favorite sandwich spot«little Lucas» in millbrae. As soon as we got there we got sat right away which was great but our server was pretty slow to take our order which would’ve been okay if they were actually really busy in this case they weren’t busy at all. My friend and I both ordered the same food which happened to be the hot link traditional breakfast with potatoes and scrambled eggs. I’m a huge Louisiana hot link sausage fan and usually when I go out for breakfast and order this it tastes the same and Im always satisfied. But today the hot link here ruined my appetite… When I got my plate I looked at my raw looking hot link and was like«maybe it’s just a tad undercooked but that’s okay». Wow the word tad was a complete joke for this, it was raw. It looked the way your chicken apple sausage is supposed to look, very pink. Hot links are always supposed to be very well cooked and have that red glazed look to it with the black marks on it from the grill. Hot links have so much grease inside that people are supposed to let it cook for a while. The cooks here need to know this! I swallowed one bite and put the rest down. I mentioned all this to my friend and he right away mentioned that he knew that something on his plate did not look okay and that he was going to notify the server. One more thing, my friend got potatoes and one of them looked a bit green… Took a picture and you can decide for yourself. The only reason I have given this place two stars is because the customer service here is really not bad, these guys were all pretty nice and attentive. He wasn’t mad or annoyed when we returned our food and when we got it back he gave us new hot links. Unfortunately they still didn’t taste right, I usually have to run to get water after the first two bites but today it tasted a bit plain just flavorless. Either they were still raw, expired, or just a really bad brand of hot links. I gave you a second chance Bay Watch and one again you let me down. –V

This is a great breakfast place(at least that’s all I’ve had). The omelets are better than a typical diner and the pancakes are fantastic. It can get crowded on the weekend, but at least they have free coffee while you wait. The real problem with this place is I always eat too much!

The service is fast and friendly and their pancakes rock! When Millbrae pancake house is packed, which is always for breakfast, we end up at Bay Watch. I’ve never waited longer then 5 minutes to be seated here.

I come here to grab a hearty breakfast. I get the scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, toast, and OJ. Yep, breakfast is good here. Plus, the service is good as well. Just be cautious of the men’s bathroom because the stall door was broken last time I came here. I walked in to use the urinal and the man in the stall was dropping a deuce and trying to hold the door closed. Not an ideal situation to be in. Oh, get the French toast if you get a chance.

Okay, so the food is great to mediocre — depending on what you get. Their omelets and eggs are nothing special but their pancakes and crepes are too die for. We are regular customers though and come here on a weekly basis. The ambience reminds us of our breakfast places back home and the service is friendly and quick. Alan is our favorite waiter — what a nice guy! And a great place to take kids!

A Millbrae, Burlingame border classic. The local retired community will frequent the location and occasionally the local high school community nearby, but this all boils down to your standard neighborhood diner. Classics. Think IHOP but a bit more homemade and local authentic. If you’re in the nearby community and are sick of supporting the same«innovative» chains and went to feel like a local for some classics come check it out! Cheers and thank you for the good memories!

as a loyal customer, this place has got to be one of the best places to take your family for the weekend breakfast or the weekend lunch. they have great choices the Waiters provide great service and the food is great. I usually order the Monterey club or the raisin French toast which is amazing.

I went there with my family at lunch time. I ended up ordering the French Dip and was really disappointed. I’ve eaten here a few times before for breakfast and it was okay, nothing special. Lunch, however, was much different. The French Dip was cut in half as are most sandwiches. Unfortunately, each half was gone with one bite. It was a two bite sandwich. There was more cheese than meat and the au jus was so thin, it had no flavor. I was disappointed and won’t go back for breakfast or lunch. I’d rather head over to Stacks or Millbrae Pancake House.

Came here this morning for breakfast with my boyfriend around 11am and was seated almost immediately upon entering. The restaurant is located within the shopping square in Burlingame where there’s a Starbucks and a Little Lucca’s shop. They have a private parking lot so finding parking should not be hard to do. The restaurant itself has a bunch of tables and booths to sit at and even the waiting zone has a couch for you to sit at. The waitress we had got was very friendly and gave us a few minutes to look over the menu because the menu itself does have A LOT of items so just be warned. If you order tea or coffee, they end up giving you a canister full of either coffee or hot water and a basket of tea bags so you can keep refilling to your heart’s content. I ordered their traditional breakfast with chicken apple sausage and that also came with eggs, toast, and their house potatoes. In theory, their house potatoes sounds delicious. And they were… After you add some salt and pepper to them. Same with the eggs. However, the sausages were delicious and the butter they put on the toast made it very yummy. My boyfriend got their spanish omelet which also came with house potatoes and toast. Overall, for 2 people who also got a coffee and OJ, the bill came out to around $ 26. Not bad. They accept all forms of credit card payment!(Master, Visa, Discover, AE) I would be willing to come back here. The food isn’t bad. Just lacking in some flavor, but salt and pepper helps. And the drive over here is easy.
