This is one of my favorite places as a homeowner.
I’m always greeted by staff, who seem genuinely interested in their jobs and helping others.
Today, Mr. Jesse helped me to pick out some paint as I got a bug to redecorate and my mother told me years ago the best way to refresh your home look is to paint!
Having looked at my perplexed face as I pondered whether to buy eggshell, flat, or semi gloss, Jesse kindly explained the difference to me and even showed me the difference between the paints.
I appreciated his candid conversation and took his advice on yellow paint. I was pleased with my selections and can’t wait to see how it all comes together!

I’m about 50⁄50 on this location. Half the time I get helped by someone that knows their stuff and will go out of their way to help. The other half of the time when you CAN find someone they make you feel like a bother and point in a general direction on the other side of the store and send you on a wild goose chase. If you know what you want and where it is located, this store is as good as any other Home Depot. If you need assistance you’re odds are the same as flipping a coin.

My local DIY stop. Store is clean and (for the most part) well laid out. Occasionally they are out of the item I’m looking for, but it’s pretty rare.
Price shop if you’re coming for a more expensive item, as there are times I can find the same item for less on amazon (assuming I’m wiling to wait for it to be delivered).
