Went for brunch and can’t believe I’ve lived in Burke for so many years and not eaten here. Very friendly service. The mimosa tasted of fresh OJ and very light champagne, the omelet was a little overdone with the toppings mixed into the egg (like flat scrambled) with cheese in the fold — but tasted good. Home fries were awesome and so was the fresh fruit on the omelet plate. Definitely trying again for lunch or dinner.

Stopped in here awhile back based on positive reviews and was overall disappointed. The service was very friendly, however the food was not great. One of our dishes was a bit over cooked, the other was ok but just ok. We may try this place again down the road, hopefully they were just having a bad night in the kitchen.

I’ve lived in the area my entire life and have always driven by this place in the shopping center, but never thought to give it try. Randomly, my husband wanted to just try something new that was close. It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but we were pleasantly surprised by the food and service. We sat in the bar area. The bartender was super friendly and very attentive. We ordered buffalo wings for our app and they were awesome. Good pieces of meat, just crispy enough on the outside and the buffalo sauce was great. My husband enjoys really spicy buffalo sauce, and I am the exact opposite. This buffalo sauce was the perfect in between. My husband got a panini and said it was awesome. I got the gyro platter, which wasn’t the best I had ever had, but I really enjoyed it and the portions were huge. Both of our meals came with fries — I don’t know if we just got a good batch, but they were really, really good. Overall, this is definitely a place I would come back to. The menu was fairly large and offered a variety of different items, so I would definitely want to try something else.

We used to come here nine years ago and loved it. Now we’ve moved back and it’s just meh.
The French dip was bland and the meat was tough. The kids pizza was made from scratch, which was nice.
I don’t think I’d go back here.

We’ve lived in the neighborhood for a little over two months and this is our favorite new spot. The food is outstanding and very consistent, and the bartenders are even better. We love stopping here at least once a week.

Opps, I think they forgot the chef at home! Wait staff friendly and service was good– Read reviews that it wasn’t so they have definately improved in that area. Cute place, did not see the bar, but the dining area was nice and not overcrowed with tables. Menu is too diverse, they need to stick to something– looks to be Greek origin in ownership– maybe a good Greek menu– but they have cajun, Mexican, Italian, Greek and arn’t concentrating on one type of food– vast mistake in my book. Ordered the cajun fried calamari for apps. A little underdone and overspiced– and the sauce was just marinara with hot pepper seeds on top which made it all the hotter– needed a sauce that was going to round out the cajun spice like a mayo or sour cream based one. We all ordered something different– greek salad was ok– fettuccini itself was nice– well cooked, but the meat sauce was canned tomatoes not well cooked down with ground beef– the sauce was acrid from undercooked tomatoes and the fettuccini was cold under the hot sauce. Garlic bread was cold, but crispy and a good garlic taste. Chicken fajitas were pretty good, good price the sides looked fresh. I ordered a bowl of the homemade clam chowder on a freezing night– big mistake– it tasted like watered down instant mashed potatoes mixed with a can of Bumble Bee clams– no cream base, no flavor. Now on a good note– I understand that the burgers are good– I love good burgers– I will come back and try the burgers. They just seem to be all over the place and need to settle on what they can do best– great location and could be a great place. I just think they need to settle on something and do it well—

Very friendly bartenders I have only eaten in the bar area so i can‘t comment of the wait staff. The food is pretty good i have had a number of different burgers and would say they are above average and best of all when you order a medium cooked burger it comes out medium. The flaming cheese is excellent and i would list it as a must order item. There are many regular customers and a generally friendly vibe.

Lived here for years, and had not tried this restaurant until recently. We were happily surprised with the quality of the food, most of which seems to be made in-​house. The service is fast and friendly, the menu is diverse, and the monthly specials are interesting. This month, one of the specials was Wiener schnitzel. It was great! Huge servings, good service, clean if uninspired décor. We will be coming again.

Cool little neighborhood bar/​restaurant. I like the atmosphere, perfect place to catch a game, grab a drink and something to eat.

My family and I are regulars here. Staff is AMAZING! The food is always fantastic and they let you order to taste! I love the nachos and the gyro meat is one of the best I’ve had. Not to mention there soups and fabulous specials! Can’t say enough about it!!!

A perfect place to be a regular. Amazing monthly specials, a wide variety of menu items and all made in house! It is so nice to eat at a place where you can modify your order to have it just the way you like it.
I visit this place on a weekly basis for several years and have never had a bad meal or bad service. I’m also not one of those hard to please whiny Unilocalers ;)

Went there twice; once on Sunday for brunch, bloody Marys and beer. Had the Mediterranean Flaming Cheese which was so incredibly good I went back the following week for another bout of it. Also had an Athenian omelet which was unremarkable and Belgian waffle, very good, light, tasty, with delicious blueberry topping.
Went for supper later in the week and had an overly cooked french dip with homemade chips.

Came here for lunch & the food was pretty good. The staff was friendly, our drinks were always refilled w/​o asking & our lunch came out pretty quickly. It seems to have a calm, quiet atmosphere so you can probably have lunch here with a piece of mind.

Good service from server but the manager seemed very put off the whole evening. He seemed like it was a hassle that we had two children. We were one of three guests on the restaurant side so there was plenty of space. It was our first time. I don’t think we will be returning. Our children were excellent too. I am honest and know that doesn’t always happen but they were tired and just ate they food and we left. We didn’t even leave a mess. Very disappointed in his service. Food was decent.

Food is still good, service not so good. Keep getting this one waitress who is slow to take our order, or our food is mixed up.

The bar is great with friendly bartenders and clientele. There are quite a few regulars that frequent this place. However, the food is hit and miss. Doesn’t prevent me from going back.

Ate there on Saturday, 1÷15÷11, during the Steelers game. There was one other couple in the place. Service was slow, food came even more slowly and was room temperature when it got to the table. If I could give it zero stars, I would.

It is a good restaurant for lunch. I have not been there for dinner. They have a nice cozy bar that is separate from the restaurant. The crowd is mostly middle aged. The food is good and I like the atmosphere.

This is a really cute restaurant, it moved from the main road of Burke Center Parkway back on the strip area going parallel to Kohls in that shopping center.
The food is alright, typical bar food that is not bad. Drinks are cheap since you are in burke.
They do have a regular crowd that is loyal to Hops Frog. Sunday brunch is very good!
