I’ve been here many times but have never been fully impressed. After a year away I thought due to a great groupon deal, I would try it again. I ordered the port wine steak and ordered it rare. For a place classified as a Italian steakhouse you would think that they would know how to cook a steak. It came out medium with just one strip in the middle as medium rare. Sadly so disappointing. My boyfriend had the deluxe pizza. The crust and all ingredients are all pre purchased, nothing homemade. Basically a freezer aisle warmed up pizza. Overall save your money and go instead to Bistro Baffi just a couple miles away. That place is the best in the Puget Sound.

It was my family & I’s first time going to Angelo’s tonight and everything was amazing! Service was great and to mention it was Mother’s Day, the food was so flavorful and incredible. Angelo’s is perfect taste of Italy at an affordable price. I’m definitely coming back! Thank you Angelo’s!

Here having lunch. I had clam chowder, Fettuccini alfredo with shrimp and prawns with added mushrooms, and garlic bread. Let me say this halfway through my meal i nearly cried cause it ALL tasted so good. I felt like i was being fed, loved on, then cuddled, so orgasmic i wanted to cry. And now this homemade chocolate silk pie! Boohoohoo it tastes delicious too

This place is a dinosaur, and so is their menu. Somehow, they escaped the wave of mid-2000’s closures of family Italian restaurants. The interior reminds you that this place is a powerhouse of pasta, and has been here for a while. The heavy curtains and«Tuscan» décor really take it back to the days of N’Sync and pogs. The food here is fine. It’s exactly what you’d expect to be served when you order chicken Parmesan, or fettuccine Alfredo. It’s also the kind of place you’d expect to see on an episode of Kitchen Nightmares. The food is ok, but you *know* there’s some drama happening back in the kitchen. I come here for the family reunions.

Six of us, plus our granddaughter, went out tonight to Angelo’s for dinner. We had spaghetti, cannelloni, and lasagna, for our dinners. All of our dinners were tasty. The garlic and the cheesy bread were also good. Service was excellent.

This place is great. If you ever need a room for 20+, they have multiple options. Food was fantastic. Service was great. I had never been there. I’ll be back soon.

This is a copy/paste from my Facebook post tonight, basically because I’m too lazy to write something new. It is a review about Angelo’s tho… so enjoy. I’ve been a fan of Angelo’s for about 11 – 12 years now. Ok. Those of you who are close to me know what my favorite place. is. Old school italian joint. Family run since 1957. Although they have pizza on the menu, and they’re very good… it’s not their forte. It’s the kind of place you for for wonderful pasta dishes, Roquefort Port Wine Steak, Parmesan Encrusted Halibut with roasted garlic butter. good salads., etc. Well tonight I needed to be there, but I didn’t want anything meaty. Didn’t want a salad… so I opted instead to go for their small deluxe pizza. They’re not a pizza joint. They only have 3 or four on the menu… but this little bugger was wonderful. Look at that pile of meat & veggies on top. Salami, pepperoni, sausage, black olives, peppers, onions. Wonderful little feast. it was all I needed tonight.

Classic well prepared Italian with great service. It’s been in Burien forever, but I had never been so my wife and I gave it a try. I had the veal in a cream and mushroom sauce and it was served piping hot. A little rich for my taste, but perfectly prepared. The sides and salads were also well prepared, and everything was classic old school Italian, with little originality or Southern Italian influence. Overall very competent and professional, but don’t expect them to take any risks with the menu or special sheet.

Was here for a wedding rehearsal dinner, but we got to choose from a fair number of dishes off the regular menu, so I think I can give a legitimate review. If your tastes harken back to the type of Italian food served in the Midwest 50 years ago, then this is definitely the place for you. The red sauce covering the slabs of chicken parmesan was the epitome of generic. It just tasted red. And the white sauce for the seafood cannelloni managed somehow to have no taste at all-just washed out white. Salad was boring, tiramisu was not as good as Safeway’s and even the garlic bread was somehow lacking flavor. I can only conclude that the kitchen has rightly determined that its clientele is not interested in having its taste buds challenged in any way. How else could a place like this still exist in 2015?

The food is delicious, but the price is a bit high. Great place to have parties their banquet rooms are nice and private. Just plan on spending $$$

I have had dinner here many times and have ordered many to-go orders, all excellent. All of the staff have worked there for awhile and are very savvy of the menu. The garlic bread is heavenly! I have been fortunate to try almost everything on the menu, and it is all great. Chicken parmesan, and any seafood dish are my absolute favorite. So savory and flavorful. Overall, relaxing ambiance, friendly staff, wonderful owners, and true talent back in the kitchen!

My friend and I decided on Angelo’s because it was open late and really close from our place of lodging. It is located around other stores, some of them closed down businesses. The side salads are drowned in salad. It was more of an order of dressing with a side of lettuce. It was a bit ridiculous. I could have used ½ or ¼ of the amount they provided. I tried the: — bruschetta — gnocchi — seafood cannelloni All the food was good but not amazing. I probably wouldn’t order the bruschetta or gnocchi again but that’s just a personal preference. Careful if you order the seafood cannelloni though, it stays really for a long time! The ambiance was very relaxed. The lighting was also very dim, like a lot of other Italian restaurants. We experienced very good service despite coming in very late in the evening.

Angelo’s is an institution in Burien as I noticed the menu and opening announcement as you enter behind a glass enclosure going back to 1955. It seems you’re in a time capsule at Angelo’s and its like Back to the Future. I’m sure the menu and recipes haven’t changed for literally decades. That said, the clientele all seemed to be +50 and been going here for years; as you’ve read in some of the reviews. The atmosphere is like going into someones home and theres rooms all hosting large groups of parties, birthday parties and such on the weekend night I came here. It was packed and I thought it would take some time, but was seated within 10 minutes. The service is great here and you plenty of attention, normal asking for drinks, then the entrée order, garlic bread, salad, fill the water glass, dessert. The Italian is something out of 1950 American Italian food with all the typical entrees you’d expect; only thing missing was a piano bar and a lounge singer doing Frank Sinatra songs. The food is in just the right proportions, and I liked the food and the tomato sauce in the pasta was pretty tasty. There’s nothing your going to say this is the best Italian you’ve ever had; but they have the pricing right where you feel the return on investment makes it good. I had a glass of the wine on the by glass wine list and it was rather bad to my taste; you should bring a bottle wine here instead. Now, I didn’t have the steak, but I saw a couple eating the steak and the wine sauce on the steak looked really good. He ended up eating every piece of that ribeye and I’m surprised not wiping up the sauce with some bread. If and when I come back, I’ll have to try the steak as that seems to be the standout here at Angelo’s. Another dish tried was a roasted pork with flat pasta that was from the specials. I’d also tend to recommend you try the specials before picking from the menu. As said, the clientele is old school Burien life-long residents that just seem to keep coming back. You’ll not find too many foodies and hipsters at Angelo’s.

By far, my favorite Italian Restaurant in the world. I absolutely love and adore this restaurant. My family has been coming here since they opened and we have had surprise birthday parties, christmas, family parties, and many celebrations at this restaurant. My all time favorite items are: wine steak, tortellini, chicken piccata, and of course, chicken marsala. Within the last few years they started doing specials which are super amazing too. Every meal comes with the most amazing garlic bread, a side salad(do half and half dressing), and the entrée. I love their rocky road cake, I always request a slice as soon as I walk in. I tell everyone that this is by far, the most amazing Italian restaurant they will ever go to. You’ll love the staff, the ambiance, and the food.
