I ordered the barbecue pulled pork sandwich and a side of baked beans, cornbread with a sweet tea. Very very very good so glad I found this place, if you don’t live near this place it’s worth the drive.

Tiny restaurant with a bit of parking problems but once we were inside we ordered a full rack of baby back ribs and a side of barbecue beans for me, a pulled pork sandwich with cole slaw for the wife, and an order of smoked wings for the two of us to split. The ribs were smokey, fall of the bone tender, and had a slightly different rub flavor(maybe from the Argentinian twist another reviewer commented on). The pulled pork was smokey also and very tender in a way that only a long time on the smoker will give. Maybe a bit more barbecue sauce here tho. The wing were kind of dry to me… too long in the smoker is my bet but the did taste good. You have to put their hot wing sauce on once you get your order. Odd. Overall a very good experience but a bit pricey. Our bill came to $ 55 and change. Rack o ribs came to almost $ 25 alone. Leftovers were awesome also!

First time here. We tried the brisket and pulled pork sandwiches. We each got macaroni and cheese. Everything was absolutely delicious!!! They’re really friendly here to customers as well.

We tried this place with my dad the other day, we were looking for some place that makes BBQ ribs and we came across this place. I have to say, I was shocked by how amazing the ribs and the brisket was. And let me tell you, this girl knows and loves her ribs. I love how they gave you chimichurri sauce(an Argentine garlic herb sauce) to put on your meat. I never thought of putting it on my BBQ meat before but I’m glad I finally tried it. I will be making the drive to get ribs from here again, next time I’m bringing the rest of the family!

Stopped in with a friend for a quick lunch. I had my eye set on the pulled pork sandwich, and my friend settled for the brisket sandwich combo(including one side and a drink). The pulled pork comes with a little side of coleslaw and bbq sauce. The coleslaw isn’t bad, and the bbq sauce is pretty good. The meat was tender and the sandwich was packed with it! They definitely didn’t skimp on the meat. My sandwich was decent enough to order again, but not unforgettable. The brisket sandwich is where it’s at! I stole a bite from my friend and immediately I was bummed I didn’t order the same. I will be coming back for a brisket sandwich for sure!

Came here for dinner and got the sampler platter to share with the wife. It comes with pulled pork, brisket, chicken wings, and ribs. Since it was towards the end of the night, they gave us the rest of the ribs they had left. It was the perfect portion to share. The meat was just ok, we mostly just liked the brisket. We also ordered a side of the chimichurri mashed potato, which was the highlight of the meal. It goes great with the extra chimichurri sauce they give. Parking is a little difficult here. We found street parking close by.

I knew I was in trouble when the brisket sandwich came out pre-sauced. I have never heard of any respectable BBQ joint that puts sauce on brisket(or really any of their meats) before it is served. I thought maybe the flavor would make up for it, but no– I honestly could not distinguish the meat from Lloyd’s or Curly’s(the kind you get at the grocery store in a plastic tub) The sides were also done wrong– both the baked beans and the baked potato. Bland, watery– just poor preparation all around. I am not a picky eater, and I really really try to stay positive, but I nearly cried after shelling out $ 16 for a brisket sandwich combo and receiving such a disappointing sandwich. I promise I am not a Texas snob; this was just very, very poor.

Pro: Friendly staff, free parking spots, across from Trader Joe’s Con: Their food was mediocre at best. Pulled pork dinner plate came with OK mashed potato, overcooked and discoloured corn, and over-sweetened baked beans. Chopped brisket sliders(2 per order) came with a couple of pickle slices and a pop, and everything was just sub-par. I feel full yet quite unsatisfied. If you are looking for real tasty BBQ meats, I’d skip this place.

Bbq is really good. I got the ribs and TRi tip and it was really fresh. The prices are reasonable. The only bad thing is that they run out of ribs quickly.

Not the joint to go to. The man didn’t offer me a refund for that horrible plate. The 17 dollars spent I only ate the meat that should say a lot. No wonder the joint was empty and guess what I was the only fool sitting at a table.

Had the brisket sandwich combo($ 15 + a 15% pre-tip) and it was very plain. The brisket was dry and lacked flavor. The sandwich is really just brisket and bread. It needed coleslaw or something to really make it a sandwich. I had this with the mashed potatoes which were too moist and a little watery. I guess that offset the dry sandwich but I did not enjoy the meal. Due to my experience today, I will not be returning.

Delicious Burbank BBQ. Had the wings and a brisket sandwich. The chicken was so tender. The chicken fell right off the bone. The brisket had really good depth of flavor on its own. Adding the bbq sauce just took the sandwich to anoter level. Looking forward to going back. I got my order to go but next time i will probably hang out and listen to the entertainment.

I’m fine that on a Saturday night, you can be sold out of things like Ribs. C’mon…it’s a BBQ joint! What I’m not fine with… is cold BBQ that’s remaining for the restaurant to serve. I got the pork dinner combo due to Ribs being sold out. The beans, corn on the cob and mashed potatoes were perfect temperature… but the pulled pork was completely cold! No, not room temp, cold! WTF? I’ve eaten here several times and each time I’ve swung by, the quality of the food is on a slow decline. Which is a shame. I think I’ll sit out for a bit and let you decide to try it out. The food at the beginning when I tried it here several months ago was A-grade. I’m not sure what happened this Saturday night.

This barbecue place is pretty good for it being located in Burbank. It was my first time eating here and at first I was a little surprised by the prices, its not too expensive but not cheap either. I would say the price you pay is pretty worth it because you are full and satisfied by the end of meal. So full that I was not able to finish my order. The overall taste and quality of the food was average but good enough for me to come back and have another meal. I came here for an early dinner with my boyfriend and we were able to try a good variety of the food since we shared our orders together. I ordered the combo brisket sandwich with a side of mac and cheese, while my boyfriend ordered a combo pulled pork sandwich with a side of potato salad. Ordering a combo comes with a drink and one side! Both came with a side of barbecue sauce and we also ordered a pork empanada that came with chimichurri on the side. My brisket sandwich was just okay. I thought the pulled pork sandwich tasted better than my brisket sandwich, plus it came with a small side of cole slaw. I wasn’t able to try the cole slaw but my boyfriend said it was pretty good. The potato salad and mac & cheese was average, good but nothing great. As for the pork empanada I would definitely recommend it! It was delicious and the chimichurri sauce was perrrfecttt with it. Definitely want to come back and give their other barbecue dishes a try, like their ribs!

Was looking for a good bbq for me and my be so I searched and came across this place! Wow! The food was really good! My boyfriend ordered the rib dinner came with mashed potatoes & baked beans, the ribs were really delicious! The fall off the bone melt in your mouth taste! And the sauce is to die for! Sweet & spicy with a hint of alcohol I’m thinking maybe whiskey bomb! I ordered the pull pork sandwich the pork was really soft and the sandwich was big! Came with Mac n cheese & coleslaw! The Mac n cheese had that homemade taste real cheesy and good! My daughter loved it! I will definitely come back here if I’m in the area and craving bbq and I will for sure tell my friends and family about this place!

I wouldn’t ever come back here, it just doesn’t really make the cut when it comes to BBQ, but then again quality BBQ is hard to find in LA. First off the menu is basic as can be, it gives you pretty much zero choice and I personally find the best part of BBQ is all the choices of meats and sides you can choose from when you get the dinner. Here you get brisket or pulled pork and the same three sides every time, beans, corn, and mash potatoes. The mash potatoes were completely flavorless, the beans were good, and the corn was corn. I also ordered an extra side of mac n cheese and cornbread, both were just ok, pretty much the exact same as KFC, basic as can be. There was also only one BBQ sauce being offered and it wasn’t good at all. The brisket it self was pretty dry, but I enjoyed it enough. Overall pretty much a KFC but instead of chicken, they serve pulled pork and brisket.

Tried this place on a day perfect for BBQ. A bit cool and overcast with June gloom. I walked in at 12:35 and no one in the restaurant. Odd for lunch time. I had stopped by for a menu a week prior and there was a line. So I had misgivings and ordered anyway. I ordered the chopped brisket sandwich combo plate. The sandwich, one side and beverage for $ 13.95. That’s a very high price point, both for the food and area. Bluegrass music plays and there’s an annoying recorded greeting every time the door opens. The food was not bad. I ordered the 3 cheese Mac which was clearly home made and tasty. The sandwich had generous meat portion and a sweet BBQ sauce. Worth the $ 13.95 plus tax(over $ 16). Nope.

(Dined 10÷11÷14SA @ 5:00pm): This place certainly wasn’t the pits, and I wanted some baby back baby back baby back ribs! Thanks to a Living Social offer($ 30.00 in food/drinks for $ 15.00) and the fact that it was about to expire while I was on vacation, I treated a friend to The Pit [Brothers] BBQ, a relatively new BBQ joint and yet another one that joined the ranks of those in and around the Burbank area. Let’s get started before I drooled all over my laptop as I recounted my meal: Full Rack Pork Baby Back Ribs($ 25.95) — This was a slab of meaty monstrous proportions; I swore it was the entire side of a healthy swine! My friend and I were so ravenous we attacked like vultures on a dead carcass. We barely had to cut into each long rib before each started to fall apart from the bone. The outside was beautifully browned with some darker ends yet the inside was slightly pink and literally melted in your mouth. Chew if you must but it almost wasn’t necessary. It was more dry than smothered in BBQ, which was the way I preferred, but there was a side of slightly sweet sauce just in case. Ribs U.S.A…I’m sorry but you had some serious competition! Pulled Pork Sandwich Combo with ½-Pint Baked Beans, Cole Slaw & Refillable Soda($ 12.95) — It seemed redundant that we ordered this since we had the real deal rack in front of us, but my friend wanted to try. Probably cut from the same piggy, this was savory and succulent, and the bun truthfully got in the way. The BBQ baked beans were also good with a nice sweetness, but they were that act that came on after the one before that just killed it… you know what I mean?! The slaw was standard, and they carried Coca Cola beverage products. Beef and Pork Empanadas($ 2.00 ea.) — They were hot, nearly bursted at the seams, the size of your hand, and honestly a bargain at this price. Bottles of Corona and Shiner Bock Beer($ 4.95 ea.) — Was it necessary to describe these lovely libations?! Service — We were the first customers for the dinner shift. The friendly young female behind the counter explained how the offer worked, she patiently waited for our order as we gazed up at the menu on the wall behind the counter, she immediately gave us our drinks and empanadas, and once the meat items were ready another woman brought it to our table. There were some leftovers, so they kindly gave us containers. Straightforward and a great job! Parking(free) — We didn’t see a parking lot, so we parked on the cross-street of Alameda Ave. Otherwise, there appeared to be plenty of free street parking(please be mindful of any posted signs) along the main drag of San Fernando Rd. and all other nearby business and residential streets. Atmosphere, décor, ambience — No larger than a studio apartment, this simple no-frills almost communal little shack with only a handful of picnic-style tables and chairs with elements of Southwestern flair that decorated the walls welcomed you with the scent of BBQ that wafted from the kitchen. What windows they had were either covered by mini curtains or displays, so natural lighting was to a minimum while fluorescent lighting reigned supreme. There were no TVs but I recalled background music. Attire — Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. Overall, The Pit [Brothers] BBQ was a total hit with my friend and I, and we’re both real happy to have yet another BBQ option in Burbank(as if there weren’t enough already). Yet another example of a successful Living Social promotion which I hoped many others took advantage of. The prices were on-par, the food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. What else could be said?! However, their hours were a bit limited and no happy hour. I found exceptionally good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above(total paid experience was around $ 58.00 before discount and tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice… AMEX! 4.5STARS
