Olivia’s Salsa, Bachata Dancing/Classes

The environment is so friendly and not so threatening for new dancers. I love music and dancing but salsa was never something I was familiar with and honestly felt intimidated when I was around it. But, all this changed when I forced myself to go for the beginners lesson on Thursday Feb. 24^th because a friend asked me to.
Class was very informative and structured; I enjoyed practicing under the instruction of Christina because she knows what she is doing (plus she’s cute). She helped me overcome my fears by being super friendly and informative. The class & DJ was so good that I felt I was cheating someone by only paying $ 10 for the entire night.
I was truly inspired by Christina on Thursday night and now have fallen in LOVE with salsa. It makes a world of difference to have an amazing leader direct one in the right direction. Never in my life would I have imagined taking a salsa class but I am glad I stepped out of my comfort zone because I just discovered something that I truly enjoy. Thank you Sam for pushing me to go, in the end it was all worth it.
Oh and lastly, the environment and community of people are so friendly and supportive. I told a couple people I was new to salsa and it was almost their mission for the night to teach me how to salsa. Absolutely loved the place.
