Magnolia

The place was empty, the waitress was new and very nervous, but the food was delicious. The lamb chops are tender, juicy and full of flavor. The chiken Kabbab was delicious, the rice, everything was flavorful.

This place makes no sense. There is rarely anyone there. The food is just so so. A group of men were smoking inside the last time I was there so I will not be returning.

Just stopped here for lunch today. We were the only ones there and I’m not sure why they aren’t more busy… the food is very good and the service was great! Will go again ;-)

After we were seated by the waiter, the owner came out and shook both of our hands and recommended «the pepper». We waited around twenty minutes but the food was well worth it. They brought out a pepper stuffed with cheese, wrapped in meat, and wrapped in another layer of cheese along with shoestring fries and decorative tomatoes. The pepper was delicious and after we finished they brought us a complimentary baklava. Definitely coming back soon for the delicious food and great service.

This place is horrible! Placed in order for pick up an I asked for a sandwich an the bread was hard an the inside looks weird! The salmon wrap my boss got was so small the price is outrageous an they r never open an they were rude on the phone! Stay away!

So glad i found this place. Great atmosphere and reasonable prices. Ordered the chicken lula it was flavorful, my boyfriend ordered the beef stroganoff it was suprisingly tasty. Ther generous with ther portions as well. Chef or was he the owner came out and offered us a complimentary wine since it was our first time. We declined coz we dont drink but was thoughtful and kind of him to offer. Came on a sunday and just found out they close on that day. Opps. Sory! But they still was happy to serve us. They do need ther restaurant sign lid up more because it was hard to tell if they were open for business but aside from that great food and service. Will def come back!

We called on a Sunday for pick up having never been here before.
We get there to pick up our food and there is plainly some sort of private event going on. They invite us into their office to wait, but our bikes were outside unlocked. The manager/​owner (?) said not to worry and went outside to keep an eye on our bikes for us.
Now, that’s service.
It wasn’t until we got home and looked at the menu they gave us that we realized they aren’t even open on Sundays. Woops! Sorry, Magnolia Restaurant! But thank you so much for your hospitality and your great food.

Loved this restaurant! I felt like I was at the home of a friend, somewhere internationally, with their Mom cooking somewhere in the back. Delicious dishes! Four of us tried different items, shared tastes and all were delighted. Eglish isn’t their first language, but you get past that quickly with the warm and respectful service.
Try it!

My boyfriend and I recently discovered this little gem a few months back. We make it a weekly stop for dinner. I’ve tried many dishes on their menu, and have loved every dish! Service is wonderful, staff very friendly…

This is one of the Valley’s, no… L: A’s truely unknown jems. We have been eating at Magnolia Restaurant for 9 years. We love it! The owner Vic is awesome! There is an inviting feeling of welcomeness when you dine in and a true appreciation for coming if you take out.
The ambiance is intimater and fun. The staff is responsive and knowledgable. If you don’t know what you want, they’ll help you figure it out.
I wanted to take parts of 3 dfifferent item choices and they did. They only charged me for the one.
I love the way it’s like 2 restaurants in 1 little bistro.
The food is outstanding! Fresh and made to order. You really can’t ask for a better dining experience than this. It’s not high cuisine, but it’s fresh, delicious, friendly, and convenient. These places just don’t exist any more.

Was skeptical at first considering nobody was eating there on a Wednesday night. I was pleasantly surprised. The lentil soup and chicken noodle soups were very tasty and the kebabs were great. I’ll be taking the fam again. Ohh don’t let the language barrier scare you. The service is eventually friendly.
