Hollywood Guitar Lessons

I have been wanting to learn to play guitar for years and when the opportunity came to give them a try with Hollywood Guitar Lessons, I finally just made the commitment. Jason is absolutely the best instructor I could have asked for as a beginning student. I can certainly see how his specific curriculum would benefit any beginning student, no matter their age. Jason does not waste any time of the lesson and before you know it, time is up! He provides an extremely user friendly way to get you your lesson videos and music to study and play along with all week long (or at least until your next lesson). I am excited to continue learning the guitar and actually can’t wait until my kids can start to as well! For the time being, it’s mommy’s turn. You won’t find this beginning curriculum anywhere else. This is a unique, extremely well planned instruction to guitar. And what’s really awesome for kids and adults alike with Jason at HGL, is the Guitar Ninja program! You work every level to earn your «black pick!» Hollywood Guitar is heavily involved in the local school programs as well. Jason is dedicated to teaching. I could not recommend Hollywood Guitar Lessons more… I’m having a blast and learning quickly. They also provide drum and vocal lessons if you didn’t know, fyi. Don’t bother going anywhere else for lessons… call Jason.

Our school PTA decided to fund an in-​school program to allow our students exposure to music that they may not otherwise get, and we found Jason. To say the program was a resounding success would be an understatement. I was able to watch Jason and his vocal partner, Devon (I hope that’s right!!) interact and teach our kids and was moved to tears. It was amazingly beautiful to see such joy on EVERYONE’S face, from Jason and Devon to every child and the teachers, who couldn’t stop smiling, either. Every other review here that calls Jason a gift is spot-​on, he is a gift and amazingly talented, and I recommend him and his services as highly as possible! Thank you, Jason, for the amazing experience you gave our children, I am sure they won’t soon forget!

Jason Land is not only an amazing teacher and talented musician, but a great person. I have a special needs teenage granddaughter who wanted a guitar and lessons for her 13^th birthday. I was hesitant to spend the money, because she has a tendency to lose interest very quickly. This was not the case with her guitar lessons. She has taken lessons for almost a year and I am amazed at her
learn so quickly. Jason is one of those people who has a gift. He is dedicated to his students and you can tell he loves what he does. His approach to teaching is unique. His students have such a respect for him and what he is trying to teach them. It has been a such a joy to sit in on his lessons and watch him do his magic with the kids. My Granddaughter has never wanted to perform. She is very self conscious and insecure, but when Jason set up a concert, she not only went on stage but she was great, and I think she was surprised that she had such a good time. I wish we had more teachers in the world like Jason. I can’t praise him enough. He is a star, and if I could I would give him 10 stars.

I have had lessons for about 4 months and I have had the greatest time learning guitar. I have never met another guitar teacher who is as enthusiastic and who can make a thorough learning experience that also is so much fun as Jason. He has gone above and beyond for his students. For example he got a gig for his students including me to play at a fair with an amazing band to make us shine. I would recommend Hollywood Guitar lessons for anyone who wants to learn guitar in a fun way

My daughter took an 8 week group lesson course and she was comfortable and happy with the class. I sat in on most of the lessons and was impressed with his teaching style and ability. His method teaches strong musicianship emphasizing timing and finger skills and he teaches them using songs they can play along with when practicing at different tempos. I play guitar and was mostly self taught… watching him teach made we wish I had started with the foundation that he has given to my daughter. If I can afford it in the future I will probably take some lessons from him as well and I’m an intermediate player.

I have been taking lessons from Jason and I can’t say enough about him. He really gears your lessons to what you want to learn. I am in my fifties and I wish I started earlier in my life but I am having a great time now. You will not regret taking lessons from Jason.

Great Teacher! Great attitude! Jason inspires my son with the love of music. My son takes private and group lessons with Jason and he likes going to his classes.

Hollywood Guitar Lessons has been an amazing experience for our son!
Our son has been working with Jason for a few years now (since he was 8 years old) and has developed not only fantastic guitar skills but has learned that the guitar can be an important part of his life. A terrific way to unwind and relax. He picks it up for the joy it brings him personally. Who couldn’t use a little more of that? We are happy that in the tough upcoming teenage years he will have music both as a common ground when socializing and a meaningful way of finding personal space.
