I come here every 56 days to donate blood to the American Red Cross. This is by far one of the nicer facilities they host blood donations at. There is plenty of parking, lots of space and the bathrooms are always very nice and clean. It’s always pretty quiet on a Tuesday or Thursday evening after 6P. I have no idea whatsoever what an Elks Lodge or an Elk is, but heck it looks like a damn good time for whatever crowd that is — food, I swear I may have even seen a bar — leave it to me to spot a bar when I’m trying to donate blood ;) Nice place!

I don’t know much about the Elks, but I will just say they have a kind of odd lodge! With some giant purple sign from the 80’s, it’s weird. I can’t say I am crazy about the place. The only reason I go is to give blood, which is awesome. I love giving blood, lots of free snacks, oh and the saving lives thing is cool too! Anyway, maybe someday I will become and elk!

I only go here when I donate blood to the Red Cross which is every 2 months. The facility looks very clean however you feel as if you have stepped back in to the 80’s. Not really a place to have parties more like a place to take grandma to play BINGO.

This is where they have their monthly Red Cross Blood Drive so I frequent this place every few months, the parking is convenient and what I’ve noticed from just walking the halls, this is the spot if your over 60. Bingo Nights, Dances and grasshopper pre dinner drink for the 60 and ready to party. I personally wouldn’t rent out the any of the space for a formal event. it’s very dated! However there is a disco ball and who doesn’t love a disco ball.

This is where the locals come by for their fix… there is a cool local bar inside this place kind of hidden away from all the Jazz on the street. Once in a while the American Red Cross sets up a unit here for blood donations; just don’t booze first then give the BLOOD with the sauce in it. Come for the snacks !!
