The sushi was absolutely excellent. Had the Bonsai, surf and turf, tiger, and I love albacore. All were excellent!!! The service was okay, but that was probably because we came a little late, but overall it was excellent and a pleasant surprise! Totally recommend! Looking forward to coming back to vacation to go again!

Went here for a friends birthday and was not let down. We had Shogun as our tepanaki chef and Aj at the bar making drinks and sushi. The whole staff is high energy and you can tell they are passionate about their food, especially the amazing flavor and taste. Highly recommended for celebrating something or just for a good dinner.

Love going there for lunch. Great food. The service is great when it’s done by the family that owns it. I saw that because I had one of their local workers serve me and it was upsetting. They literally looked over me when they knew I was trying to signal them.
Other than that, I love the food. Their sushi is good, bento boxes are bigger than most Japanese places I’ve been to, and their beef bowl reminds me of the Korean bibimbop with the taste of the Japanese beef bowl.

We Love going here with a group of people. Mainly on special ocationions because we can’t eat that much food in one sitting. The staff is funny and friendly. Great place for a nice entertaining preparation of your very tasty food.

What can i say… i eat at teppan all the time but this was a first. He said he couldnt cook my food without garlic and pepper. I suggested he just cook it on one side of the table. He claimed hed been doing this for 14 years. There were 6 people at the table. plenty of room. He did could it. And then for the next several hours i was running to the bathroom. Dumping garlic and pepper on food to hide how bad it is isnt the mark of a good cook…

One of the best places to eat in this area great service and the food is excellent. A rare jewel in this desert! This is a must stop for atleast 1 but most times 2 meals during a weekend stay. It opens at 11 so you can hit the lunch specials and gets pretty packed towards the evening but worth the wait. Sushi and rolls are always made fresh to order and the grill is alot like other Japanese eateries but the food here is way better than anything we have had back home! Quick friendly service and this place is always clean.

When you have a special party birthday anniversary somewhere with a group or even a couple when you get there they’ll put you with the group then you’re going to be group for good old Benihana Style Japanese food with a chef that knows how to throw a knife in the air and make a volcano and all that fun stuff on the burner right in front of you so it makes it a evening of fun and laughter

First of all, I would like to say that since I haven’t been here in a while, I decided to give it another try. Our waiter, his name is Thomas, and he is a boss. This guy has the best customer service. The sushi chef, was also amazing, I’m going to tip him on the way out. I lived in Oceanside California for a while, I haven’t been this spoiled since I left that area. If you are from Oceanside Carlsbad area, these people are worth checking out. On par with hooked on sushi. I’m giving you guys five stars. You guys rock!

I’m basing this 5 start just because it’s probably the best sushi you can get in this town. It was delicious and the service was very friendly! I’m spoiled with San Diego’s sushi and these rolls are up there. My favorite was the orange roll I think it was called… Maybe I’m a little buzzing cuz I dranked hot saki and man it was bomb lol good job guys keep it up Thomas he was an excellent server.

This place is outstanding. Believe all the hype from the reviews. Miso so simple yet so good. Fried rice is some of the best. I had the Filet mignon and lobster. Both were cooked to perfection which is often missed at a hibachi grill. The steak melted in my mouth. Prices are good too as you will taking leftovers home. I see it as a 2 for 1 dinner. Defiantly give this place a shot.

This is a birthday tradition! Shogun is always our Teppanyaki chef and he always makes sure we are having a GREAT TIME! You can feel that he wants his guests to have a good time and enjoy the experience! His food is always FANTASTIC and perfectly cooked to order! Don’t forget about the sushi though… those Jalapeño Bombs, bomb!

I have been coming to Samurai for 6 years (since 2009) and I have never had a bad experience. I’ve celebrated my birthday (s) here for the past 3 years and was always treated like royalty! The owner Janice is very nice and is truly interested in her customers and always provide great service! One of her employees Jessica is great. She is never not on top of their game & is dedicated to providing A+ customer service!
What should you try? The Monkey Brain or a Deep fried Las Vegas Roll. :)

Was in Laughlin and wanted to go out for a nice dinner. After checking out the different options on Unilocal,it seemed that most of the high ratings were for traditional steakhouses, which I’m not crazy about, but I came across this teppanyaki restaurant on the other side of the river in Bullhead City. Great find! I got the NY steak & teriyaki chicken with fried rice. It was very good! I was excited that the entrée also came with noodles, but the noodles were disappointing! It wasn’t true lo mein or chow mein, but actual spaghetti noodles in soy sauce… not great. But everything else was awesome! I also got to hear their Japanese birthday song a couple of times which was kinda fun. Haha.

Samurai came through again with a very enjoyable teppenyaki dining experience, beginning with a large and quite spicy Rainbow Roll on Spicy Tuna, consisting of tuna, yellowtail, salmon, and shrimp. After a cool salad with Ginger Dressing, and a tasty Onion Soup, a medley of grilled onions, carrots, bean sprouts, mushrooms and noodles was a nice prelude to the arrival of chunks of tender medium-​rare Filet Mignon and fine grilled shrimp. Vanilla and Mango Mochi with Chocolate Sauce and Whipped Cream was a refreshing end to a very fine meal.
Besides excellent food, our grillmaster put on a fine show, and service was very good both before and behind the table. For consistency in delivering excellent fresh sushi and superior grilled food, ambiance, and service, this place is hard to beat! A good argument could be made that Samurai offers the best restaurant dining experience in Bullhead City.
