Brand new store… Everything is shiny and clean. Store is set up like every other Big 5 I’ve been in. Staff was helpful, but had to joke around to get a smile. Overall pretty good experience.

Found a pair of sneakers for hubby quickly, rec’d the correct size, bought socks, an outdoor game, and some pellets for our shotgun. In and out, quickly. Fair prices. Great shoe selection with name brands, Nike and more.

Went to purchase a swim cap. The price tag clearly said $ 2.99, but rung up as $ 3.99. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize this until I got home. Sooo… I had to make another 12 mile round trip. The manager refunded my money, but clearly couldn’t have cared less. It’s a nice way to make money: overcharge everyone $ 1.00 for their purchase and hope they don’t notice/​care! I’ll definitely think twice before going back there again… and if I unfortunately DO have to go there again, I’ll certainly check my receipt prior to leaving!
