It’s inside the mall. If you need coffee, or a break, in the mall, you stop here. It’s always busy and the line is usually out the door. It’s standard Starbucks fare so you know what you’re getting. They work on getting you through the line quickly but depending on the people in front of you that speed varies.

This Starbucks seems like its ALWAYS busy having out-of-the-door lines. I guess that is expected when you’re at Mall of Georgia. People need their coffee fix before they go on shopping sprees. Also teenagers who love malls love starbucks. I guess it just all goes together. The staff behind the counter always seem to be changing too, which isn’t a bad thing. I don’t come here super often, but just feels like that everytime I do. This Starbucks is way better than the Barnes and Noble starbucks in the sense that it accepts your Starbucks Gold/Gift cards and it’s a great people watching spot. The music here is always awesome too for some reason. It’s really cramped inside, but its always nice to get drinks and go outside and sit somewhere on a nice day. Or… bring it with you on your shopping spree! :D But actually I kind of did that once and it was hard to shop with a warm pumpkin spice in my hand, especially when there are crazy sales and people are shoulder-to-shoulder. I would give this 5 stars, but like I said there is ALWAYS a wait, even though for me it seems the wait is always worth it

The place was packed but all the baristas there were working diligently. Our order was correct and timely considering the long line.

This location is pretty convenient, but oftentimes crowded since 1) it is located inside Mall of Georgia and 2) it is right in the food court area. With this being said, lines here can get ridiculously long. The service and staff friendliness was average. I don’t visit this location much to have anything to compare to. There are a couple of tables right outside after picking up your order that’s specifically for Starbucks guests, but there’s also the overcrowded food court seats as a backup seating area. There is another Starbucks located directly across from the mall that’s less crowded, but it gets pretty busy as well since people leaving the mall do venture to this other location.

The line was CRAZY long, like outside the store, but i was jonesin for some coffee so I waited in the line. I asked them if they could take a caramel macchiato and turn it into a frappachino. he asked if i wanted the caramel crunch frap and i said no– i dont want it super sweet, basically just a coffee frap with expresso and 2 pumps of caramel. I was pretty sure he understood, and when it was brought to the bar it was the caramel crunch one… which ive tried and it just way way to sweet. I asked them if they could remake it just as a coffee frap and put caramel on top, and the lady said she would after making the next round of drinks. about 10 min later and no new i gave up and took the drink. we ended up going to the starbucks right outside of the mall where they happily remade the drink and it was superb

This Starbucks is located inside the Mall of Georgia by the food court so its always busy. The line is always long but they work super fast so I don’t always have to wait long. But the seats there is always taken so I always get mine to go. I usually order the green tea frap which they took off their menu and I always love a vanilla latte in tall with extra shots of espresso. Can’t go wrong :).

I get my coffee here almost every morning, so I would certainly consider myself a regular. The employees are always friendly, and since I am a regular, they will usually have my drink ready just as I finish paying for it. If you visit during a busy time of the year at the mall, like the holidays, then be prepared to wait a while to get your coffee as the line can get really long.

This location is great for those servicing their cars and don’t want to sit at the dealer. The service is what is expected of a Starbucks.

So, here’s the thing… Usually I refrain from Unilocaling every Starbucks I attend, usually I reserve my quality Unilocaling for stand out service, in this instance, I received the most remarkably shitty customer service possible and decided it merited a little Unilocal-age. The Starbucks in question is located on the ground level of the Mall of Georgia, near the food court area. The place is almost always packed, but its teeny, and rather cozy and fairly well organized, though, sometimes I feel a little claustrophobic standing in line. The problem started when arriving at the counter and inquiring if they carried The Wall Street Journal, the woman said they did in fact carry The Journal, when I head to the news stand, the only paper this particular Starbucks carries is The NY Times, while it irked me I wasn’t going to get up in arms about the paper. So, I grabbed the Times and headed to the counter, I planned on kicking the crossword puzzles ass. I started my order with one Barista, twenty seconds into my order she turns around and leaves, just leaves, no explanation, just leaves and so I had to wait for another Barista to come over so I restarted my order again, I was in no big hurry however it was a little rude, which kind of threw me, especially since I had been to this location a handfull of times, and received fairly decent customer service. So, Barista numero dos takes my order, Venti Iced Green Tea, 3 Spledna. As I’m leaving the girl asked me «Black Tea?» I reply, «No, Iced GREEN Tea, please.» «Got it,» She replied. So, I’m sitting in the cushy chair, reading about Obama’s plans to cut spending on military air and land forces projects, and futuristic weapon development, when my name is called. The Barista slides a Venti Black Tea across the counter, I shake my head to acknowledge that this is not my order and politely asked for a green tea, she looks at the cup and and replies that the cup is marked black tea. I told her I apologized, but I ordered a green tea, and asked her if she’d mind making me another, to which she scoffed and begrudgingly poured me an iced green tea, it seriously took 30 seconds, why the tude when you simply have to pour prepared chilled green tea from a pitcher into a cup? I grabbed my tea, added the Splenda myself, and headed out the door to continue reading my Obama article, when I hear her complaining to another Barista that I «forced» her to remake my tea, even though it wasn’t her fault it was made wrong. Here’s the thing, I wasn’t snippy, I didn’t act annoyed, nor did I verbally assault this woman for giving me the wrong tea, but there she is behind the counter complaining about having to take 30 seconds to pour me what I ordered, which really irked me. Newsflash darlin, ITSYOURJOB! Because of the recent attitude problem of the employees I’m going to be staying far away from this Starbucks and reserve my patronage for the Nordstrom Café near The Sephora at the other end of the mall, they don’t act put out when I make reasonable requests.

Oops, I mistook one of the locations in a previous review! That’s exactly what I am talking about. Inside Unilocal!joke, you’d have to read all my reviews to have any idea what I am talking about. In any case, this location is in the mall, best I can tell. This one location has exactly ALLOFTHE trendy people in Buford, period. They’re opening a location on another floor as well. The atmosphere is cramped but cozy, like most Starbucks. Nothing special here, just overpriced delicious coffee. I would note that this is a favorite hang out of all the pre-teen and teeny boppers. Steer clear of it, unless you want to say something that will remind you of how old you actually are! Stream of consciousness aside, it’s a cozy starbucks in the mall, what else do I have to work with?
