Normally I always have great customer service at Bed Bath & Beyond stores but my experience here was terrible. I went to this store the other day and needed help lifting an outdoor fire pit that I had purchased. The sales lady at the front called a man up front to help me. The man asked me where my car was parked and I pointed to the very first parking spot in the lot. Right next to the front door. The man then looked at me and said«well I’m not carrying the fire pit that far. That thing is heavy. You really expect me to carry it?» I didn’t know how to respond at first because I was surprised. I am 5“3, pregnant, and with my 2 year old toddler and he seemed to not want to help. I then said so what would you like me to do. I am pregnant and can’t lift a fire pit by myself. He responded«you need to pull your car up front if you are going to MAKE me lift that heavy thing». I had no problem pulling my car up but I was shocked that an employee of the store was acting so rude because I needed help lifting an outdoor fire pit! The man did help me but rolled his eyes and complained about how heavy it was the entire time he helped. Please keep in mind the fire pit was in a cart. All he did was lift it from cart to car. Not a good experience.

Love shopping here! All the employees speak as they walk by and offer to help. I was in the Buford location today with my toddler, who accidently knocked a frame off the shelf. Moms, I know we all can relate to the stress of shopping with a toddler! An employee came along with a smile and apologized and cleaned it up! She handled it so well and tried not to make me feel any more guilty than I already felt. And the 20% off coupons are just an added bonus. Love this place!
